How do two people apparently so smart not know the difference between a turtle and a tortoise.
Everyone has their blind spots, one of theirs is zoology.
In American English, "turtle" is typically used for the thing that Brits call "tortoise". Look up the expression "post turtle" or the 1950s song "Cut Across Shorty" which refers to the old story about the "turtle and the hare".
According to Bladerunner, there is no difference.

Great episode! Wish TBS would make some original sitcoms
They did that for a while but I don't think any of them had a lot of viewers. Never saw anything decent they did for a long while make it past a second or third season.

Ugly haircut… but not as ugly as that tattoo she got to cover the other one. She couldn’t just remove those Roman numerals; she just had to get an even uglier tattoo.
It’s also a shame she became such a BERNADETTE, her way to be becoming Beverly: a shrew.

My department’s young secretary and clerk were attending a bachelorette party and asked me for advice on where to pick up some gag gifts. I recommended Condom World and they swore me to secrecy. Well, we have a weekly newsletter and one category is ‘Guess Who’ and the answer is posted the following week. Soooo, I had the editor make up some fake newsletters with “Guess who was seen shopping a Condom World.” Put them in their mailboxes and waited for the action. There was screaming! 😂😂😂 OMG, I really miss those girls. We had such fun with practical jokes.

It’s so sad how this is the last season where Penny seems and is genuinely nice and has good banter with Leonard; the season eight finale was the worst season finale of the entire show; after that, Penny just became a GARBAGE person, who doesn’t love the person she’s with…not unlike how Kaley became.
Agree, Penny & Leonard change and become worst. Penny a lot more mean & annoying in late season. Really different with how Amy at first the annoying one but they change her into different character that actually become better

@@BenE8844 Amy isn’t as bad as early season imo, she’s fine at the end of show but yeah really annoying when she’s just Sheldon 2.0 and after they change a bit of character she’s just annoying but eh.
I can agree how the show went a down when Amy & Bernadette becomes regular. I watch the show because it’s about nerdy geeky stuff, then it become friends 2.0 . Dont get me wrong I still like the show as a whole, but it becomes meh when I think how unrealistic annoying this show become

Sheldon is a failure of a human being. At this point its less Amy could do better, and more at least you can't do worse
He is borderline autistic. He only realizes he has done something wrong after the fact and after analyzing it. I've known many people in real life the same way.
