- Shurflo has a 2 year warranty on Piranha Live Well Pump - if yours hasn't died yet you must not be a live bait fisherman! Don't worry, they are very easy to replace.

I was about to ask what connectors and crimper you used, but saw it in the description. Thanks for this. I have a Piranha that is 1 year old and seems to be dying a slow death. Sometimes it works, sometimes not - and more not now. I only have 1 livewell. Was contemplating on keeping it, or trying Rule or bait sentry. Ultimately decided to go with rule since I can change the cartridge without tools. I know one day I'm going to lose that screw. I wanted to wire it with a connector and carry a spare so it can be replaced at any time within mins. Those connectors look to be pretty good quality - very needed in a saltwater boat. Thanks!!

Matt, forgot to mention. Shurflo has a 2 or 3 year warranty. Call them and they will send you a new one.
I can’t hear or feel mine running… you think a different problem? Going to install tomorrow. It was working then died last time offshore. Great video
They don't last long if you use them. If you have 12v at the pump then the pump is gone.
Trying to replace pumps on my boat, but not sure if 600 or 800gph. Are housings the same? Not sure if you know. Can’t get to boat since it’s in storage at the moment
Iggy they are 800s. But when you order them they will have a new housing, in case you get the wrong one.
Mine will pump for maybe 10-30 seconds. Then pops the breaker on the boat. Constantly resetting it.
Try removing the cartridge and checking for an obstruction in the impeller.
Hate these things. Any idea where the screen is in this pump? I think mine sucked sonething up because its making an awful racket
Rikki, the Piranha 800 has no supplied screen. My through hull pickup has a big grate/strainer. I suspect your pump is toast.
