At least with this story the contex is that the league is affected by a special joker toxin that makes them to try to kill batman but also weakened them as a draw back of it. It's why bruce could barley beat them.
This is getting old, we know he can easily defeat the entire league and world single handed, DC doesn't need any other heroes, why because he can defeat every super villan all by himself....

Joker toxin aside they always make Supes just dumb during stuff like this. Clark knows Bats has kryptonite, he gave him some himself. He also knows Bruce plans ahead. The very last thing Clark would do if really trying to end Bruce is be anywhere near him. Armor or not Clark could send heat vision through Bruce's skull from the moon or anywhere in the upper atmosphere while flying at mach 'whatever" with constant changes in direction, elevation and speed. Supes doesn't need a targeting computer just eye contact to send death to anyone. I know, I know. "Bruce would have a reflective coating on his armor blah blah blah". Ok, Supes freezes him first, hits him with heat vision a split second after. The extreme temperature change would crack open Bats armor and leave his soft human skull vulnerable. New idea. Superman uses his gadgets. He has a whole collection of powerful weapons from Kryptonion designs or taken from enemies he's defeated. Send twenty of HIS pretty powerful robots to attack Bats all at once, wait for an opening and end Bruce. There are a multitude of different ways to end Batman when you have that kind of power and resources. Speaking of Supermans power: Clark had a hold on Bruce and started to fly upward. WHY?? Any human being, and most other beings for that matter, are done for if Supes is out to kill and can place his hands on them. If he could grab Bats enough to fly away he could have just as easily turned Bats to paste with his strength in an instant. Same goes for Wonder Woman doing it as well. That's why I've always said Batmans plot armor goes both ways. It not only has Bruce knowing and planning for everything and ALWAYS executing things flawlessly but it also dumbs down any opponent to the point where they act and fight like they don't know a damn thing about Bruce. They know more than anyone else how capable Bruce is and would attack accordingly. Only being concerned with Flash's speed? It's like only worrying about someone who can move 50 times faster than you can think and react and then NOT worrying about someone who only moves 25 times faster. Another thing. It's always stated that every cell in Supermans body uses sunlight to make everything about him so powerful. This should also apply to his brain as well. It should be as boosted as the rest of him is. They tend to leave his brain out of the equation even though it's made of kryptonion cells like the rest of him. If you want to talk about overpowered, scale his brain to the levels of everything else about him. Bruce, Lex, and the majority of DC characters would be like simpletons to him. He would outsmart Brainiac. And who knows what other abilities he might have beyond extreme intelligence. Telekenesis? Abilities that would make Manhunter envious? If you really wanted to make Supes truly OP make his brain function at the levels the rest of him does. If that happened there would rarely be a need for the rest of the team. And it would be an actual superhuman ability instead of the rediculous notion of a human being seeing, planning and being prepared for every single possible action of god knows how many other normals and superhumans at any given moment. You can study and learn all day long but at this point in human evolution the brain is only capable of effectivly retaining a certain limit of information that can be continuously used. The abilities of Batmans brain exceed the genetic limitations on a regular basis. Not to mention that just one tenth of the injuries he has recieved would already make him a cripple. No human body can go completely through a brick wall and completely recover from it if it didn't out right kill them. Yet bruce has done it on numerous occasions yet is still able to stay in "top physical condition"? At least superhumans are SUPPOSED to be able to do that which is why they are called superhuman. Unless Batman has actually been superhuman all this time there is no way he has done or survived most of what he has. By the way, Lex would have the same limitations and be far less intellectually capable as well.
Oh whatever. The only reason Batman keeps defeating the entire JL and there’s NEVER a story about how the entire league beats the stuffing out of Bruce is because the bat fan base would throw a tantrum.
Stuff like this is why I laughed out loud when Omni-Man splattered the batman clone in “Invincible” all over the floor…because _that’s_ how battles between Bruce and most League members would actually turn out.
