I remember this comic, its the last time i remember hulk basically being un-nerfed and really just truly getting stronger and stronger with every attempt to put him down. And he had every reason for it too. I enjoyed this hulk

Correct. The Hulk can never really compete with Sentry because Sentry’s rays are constantly calming the Hulk down. This is why Hulk was depowered as well, whereas Sentry purposely depowered himself because he was given the choice to end the fight. Seems to be a common misconception as to who technically won here.

I know the MCU World War Hulks film won't get this exactly as it's rumored that the Sentry is supposed to be one of the main antagonists in the Thunderbolts; but I hope the MCU substitutes Sentry with Captain Marvel or something to try to get a similar effect.
Does it matter at this point? Whoever they put in will bear no resemblance to the character, even if they appeared earlier in the franchise. MODOK anyone?
