RUclips's algorithm brought me here, this apartment is so awesome and I love the clean design! For me, maybe I don't want to install the glass partition for the kitchen as it maybe not needed (except to prevent smells when cooking something just in case the cooker hood doesn't help) and I'd like to keep it open. But the good point is it's look symmetrical with the study room beside the kitchen! I also love the color tone and the "Japanese vibe" u try to bring here, good job!

haha thank you ^_^ so far our glass kitchen contains most of the smell but sometimes if we didn't close the door properly some smell may leak out haha but we will still open up the balcony when we cook just in case

Such a beautiful house that'sd really pleasant to watch. One recommendation here is to keep the cats water and food away from their litter as it is not hygienic. It would be the same as having your dinning table inside your bathroom.

The light wooden colour and balcony give a nice soothing feeling, only downside is the view of your neighbours in those 50 years old hdb flats and the west sun. Maybe for first time owner they dont feel the full effect of west sun scorching their own house, cannot play play 1
Hi there! :) Hmm if you're looking for japandi style dining chairs I would suggest a natural oak wood color one actually, mainly because full white chair would be hard to maintain in a long run and also in my opinion doesn't really suit japandi style. Hello! Thank you :) Our balcony floor is the same level as our living room actually, its just that the sliding door is dividing the 2 sections! As for the zip blinds, yes it blocks out the rain if we close it fully but even if we don't close the blinds, the rain only comes maybe around max 20 cm into the balcony floors so its not a big issue for us! Hi, happened to see your reno regrets video. I noticed that the mosaic feature wall in your toilet isnt there anymore. Could you share reason of changing it out and if you’ll recommend mosaic tiles. As i am considering on mosaic tiles as the feature wall in the shower area, it looks nice on the 3d render. But i do want it to be practical too.
Hi there! So sorry for the late reply, I wouldn't recommend Mosiac tiles because of how difficult it is to make the grouting (spacing) in between them even. Unless your tiler is very skilled but I wouldn't risk it

I watched this to see the rooms with half-glass walls as I've been thinking of ways to keep kitchen noise and smells in the kitchen while allowing me to see out (or in) to keep an eye on the kids (human ones). If the windows could be opened, you would have the best of both a separate and open-plan kitchen!

Nope I don't think minimalism is all about black and whites, you can still be minimalist with a little color because I think minimalism is more of the visual calmness (eg. less distraction and simple lines in the entire space)! :)

Beautiful apartment. The only thing I didn't like was the bed headboard, it looks kinda cheap. I would have a wooden one, like the bedside tables.
