In my first run of Bloodborne, I tried to do what I did in DS1 and DS2, which was not level my health at all until I hit the strength soft cap. I never hit the strength soft cap. I accidentally did a "never level health" run of Bloodborne, and hated every second of it because I built my character like shit. So if nothing else, I can relate to the experience of everything in the late game killing you instantly. Never again.
@@joo1325 funnily enough, I beat cleric beast in two tries and father G in three tries…but every other boss kicked my ass. Witches of Hemwick took me like 5 tries. Even without the mad ones, getting hit by their stun is a death sentence, since their grab is an instant kill.

Mergo's Wet Nurse isn't LITERALLY a wet nurse, but the caretaker part seems to fit. Unlike game like Dark Souls or Elden Ring which have lots of lore to dig through, Bloodborne really doesn't have a lot of information about its own world. It's greatly left up to the player to delve, explore, and theorize, so as of now, most people don't even know wtf Mergo's Wet Nurse (or even Mergo) are.
Its wild how your perspective changes with experience. I too once had this much struggle with BSB and just bloodborne in general, now i can kind of take out most bosses in my sleep, not that i don't still make mistakes but I no longer have those panic moments where i hyper focus on trying to cure or outheal poison.
To be honest as a bloodborne veteran this video really gives of nostalgia, especially considering that gungnir doesn't know a lot of tricks against bosses and fights most of them head on

I can't help but feel like Ymfah or some other Soulslike challenge creator will just come around and be like, *How To Beat Bloodborne Without Leveling.*
Not upgrading anything at all is actually something a few people just regularly do for every From game... after exhausting all other ideas for challenge runs^^ LobosJr has done it for at least a few of them. And YMFAH has recently beaten Elden Ring without anything, by only walking (and blocking). But Bloodborne is, of course, more fast paced, so the long fights get punishing REALLY fast compared to the other ones.
If ur on the balcony in the one reborn fight then you can do a plunging attack directly onto his head which is like a double crit from the plunging attack and hitting a weak spot and since he’s such a big target it will often hit him twice making it a quadruple crit
you remind me of both Iron Pineapple and my older brother. one because of the (if your a noob) bit because it reminds me of that video iron pineapple did on the insane difficulty mod for elden ring, and my older brother because just like this challenge, he's fucking insane.
Being completely honest, as a huge fan of both Fromsoft and Terraria, I genuinly think Terraria's harder than any of the From games. I don't know if the game's just that hard or if I'm just THAT bad at it, but even with more than 1000 hours of Terraria on my belt, I still consistently take a beating from almost every hardmode boss every time. Seriously, Twins and Duke Fishron make stuff like Sword Saint Isshin and Orphan of Kos look like a cake walk (And while they're not as bad as Malenia or the Shadow of the Erdtree final boss, I've never played For the Worthy, so who am I to tell?)

In my first run I did 99 Arcane before touching anything else. Everything dies in one hit, but you are included in "everything".
