I bought this to prime my custom fiberglass Hood on my Tahoe.. Sands like Butter ! That was 3 years ago, still holding strong and no issues at all. My hood was custom built so it needed lots of body work and primer for blocking, i let each coat Flash before applying another coat, you can build this primer up as much as you want, I did i also placed in the Sun to help it dry, Get them free uv rays on it and you'll be blocking in no time.. very much worth the money. Thanks Eastwood for a Grate product !!

Glad you mentioned the isocyanates. Bad stuff can’t be removed by filtration of any kind. Need a fresh air supply hood to keep your lungs safe!

can you dust spray can lacquer primer surfacer over it to use as a guide coat when blocking?
I would be sanding all the lacquer off. It won’t lift?

What kind of aerosol epoxy primer would you recommend for a good anti corrosion and protection for spraying engine, bay hood, and fenders send it down to bare metal

You're looking for AeroSpray Epoxy Primer. It's just like you sprayed it out of a paint gun.

I’m having issues with my primer surfacer coming out of the gun onto my body panel… basically as it’s coming from the gun and laying down onto the panel it’s laying down with tiny pieces or clumps kind of like sandpaper.. my gun was brand new and cleaned spotless and my air pressure was 27-30 psi coming out of the air regulator and I’m using an Eastwood concours 2 hvlp with a 1.7 tip. I’m mixing the primer exactly how it says on the can.. I don’t know what the problem could be.

I’m having the exact same problem… over and over…. This stuff lays down like rhino lining and I haven’t solved the problem either… tons of sanding afterwards…. Feels like 180 grit sandpaper after it cures.

@@noneckjoe948 a little update: I found out that possibly there is condensation coming from my compressor so I bought a filter, also I used Eurithaine reducer which somewhat helped.. I do believe after spraying several body panels this paint is designed to be sanded for a smooth level surface before base coat.
