I've reported their paid ads for at least eight different channel names over the past few months, all with almost exactly the same thumbnail and titles (previously they used a male headshot though; I hadn't seen this one before). Despite how easy it is to identify the videos as scams, and the fact that it could be done in an automated fashion since they all follow the same pattern, youtube instead chooses to take money to be complicit in the scams.

There is so much wrong with the YT ad/reporting system. YT reviewers don’t have the knowledge about these, or the time to educate themselves when explanation videos are linked in the report. The ads are bought by entering their name as a large YT advertiser without verification they are an employee of the advertiser. So, the same videos are are syphoning victim $ to their wallets months after being reported, because the next round of ads are bought with another large advertiser’s name.

Those videos always get uninformed investors so easily because they have people actually deploy the code on-chain themselves. Makes them think they can't be scammed, because "I'm the one who deployed the code," even though they clearly can't read the part where it sends all of their funds to the attackers.

This has been a real problem on RUclips. Scammers will post large amounts of Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, Simpsons, and other popular media to surge their subs, get verified, and sell the account. You can sometimes even see them posting the same RUclips shorts across multiple accounts.
Ah so that was the endgame of those channels. Interesting.
I appreciate you covering scammers like this :) Great video! I'd never do something like this
Appreciate you covering people like this!
You're kinda sus ngl
Julia cannot avoid the VOID!!
Seriously though, thanks for being the first one to expose this, however there are several channels named Julia Trades Crypto. Some of them end with a hyphen, some end with a period, some end with a tilde, some of them end with an underscore, or a combination of any of these. It's crazy! I wonder if Julia will comment on here.
Nah, checked her account info. tried to go to JuliaTradesCrypto and it redirects to some OrangeeDude now. Still the same view count though, obviously, but no more video.
Love the fact that you're exposing scammers like this...... _Shoutout from NIGERIA_ 🎯🤫
LMFAO He’s all “I’m glad Coffee calls out people like Julia. Anyways, today guys I’m offering an investment opportunity that gives you 100% return on your money in just a week! Subscribe to hear more.”
Nigeria? Looks like we got another scammer
@@hydropage2855 Congratulations....you got the joke 👁🫦👁
@@hydropage2855that's just fucking racist bro
lol ur dumb, you think everyone from Nigeria is a scammer? @@hydropage2855
So glad you did this episode as I started to see this handle pop up in my algorithm everyday and couldn’t understand why as I am allergic to crypto.
That is freaking... scary how that can become so bad.... especially since a lot of us are still new to AI and tech stuff.... I've learned a valuable lesson here as to NOT accept information so easily at face value, and avoid things like bitcoin. That kinda stuff goes over my head anyways. Thanks for this informative video, and I will make sure to avoid bots and scammers like this.
I don’t mean to be an ass but you have been on the internet for at least 17 years. You should know this kind of stuff by now.
@@Logholdersbetter late than never, and better never than being a smug cunt about it
@@Logholders everybody can get scammed. Always be careful.
@@LogholdersAs I said, I'm not tech savvy enough to fully understand it all. And yes, when someone starts a sentence with "I don't mean to be an ass", that usually means they are. What part of 'I'm not tech savvy enough' do you not understand?
@@CrystalN00nathat's why you do your own research, he makes a valid point, 10+ years on the Internet, with a literal computer at your hands, daily, your phone can easily access google, its not anyone but your own due diligence to research these things. when i get curious about something i know nothing about i just google it.
Oh thank goodness. I saw the video title and got a stomach ache. In 1972 I used some " maybe not so fundamental " stats in my Thesis and I retired in 1998 but still was afraid of being Voided.
I love how everyone's admitting stuff in the comments now 😂
Those videos always get uninformed investors so easily because they have people actually deploy the code on-chain themselves. Makes them think they can't be scammed, because "I'm the one who deployed the code," even though they clearly can't read the part where it sends all of their funds to the attackers.
I wonder how this would go in court. Because the person did do it all themselves. They could argue the person should have read everything before running the code
"Investors" hahaha
Code on-chain? More like chode on-chain.
@@marthastewwartIF you could actually drag someone into court over this, they would almost certainly lose. But good luck finding the person who did it lol, and better luck enforcing jurisdiction.
@@marthastewwartI suppose, but if you're duped into deploying code that they say will do one thing, then it actually does another, taking all of your assets, it's not really too different than them telling you their investment opportunity will make you money, then taking all of the capital you deposit. At least in my interpretation of the current general state of laws regarding fraud.
I've been following this account for a few days when I discovered all the goofy comments it's been leaving on Netflix videos (i.e. the Chicken Nugget Trailer) And now it's posting on SomeOrdinaryGamers and Karl Jobst. A day after I reported it RUclips sent me an automatic response that they are going to take a deeper look so I guess we'll see what happens, because that was 3 days ago and they haven't done anything. Thank you for covering this Coffee.
You do know that this kind of verified badge commenter started couple of years ago? Like three years or so? The channel we are talking about, if you seen them ‘chicken’, ‘x’, and this channel (Julia), all of the account got 1 million subs by botting subscribers after being sold. Commonly those types of people are that ‘OGs Name’ or those common words handle got it, you would be surprised that they brought the channel to basically gain attention.
That AI voice is getting way too good
It’s gonna be a year before we legitimately can’t tell the difference between human and bot
Reminds me a bit of the culture surrounding the memestock apes -- all of the communities are just different flavors of grifter and scammer, but they're also deeply emotionally invested in trying to discredit anybody who's trying to drive that sort of hype to a *different* meme stock, because it dilutes the broader movement and puts them in the arms of a different grifter
*"I used to like you coffeezilla."*
👆🏼 audit this one 😂
Hey, found another
I always love when RUclipsrs open videos and you can see their recommendations
Little glimpse into their mind
Thats wild. Ive been seeing this person a bunch recently commenting on AI news sites and immediately assumed it was a bot. Good to know my BS scanner still functions properly, lol.
Coffeezilla: "You can't trust anybody"
Me: *looks at husband* "I can't trust you!"
its always the ones u love
@@unknowngaming7849 They were right under your nose the whole time.
there's a reason why “the husband did it” is a thing
@@Bree420 I just felt weirdly spoken to with this comment, as a fan of Columbo. I should do a rewatch and take a shot each time it's the husband, see how many episodes I can get through before I get too drunk to operate VLC.
Romance scammer, clearly
I was seeing this account commenting on EVERY tech channel. Good on you for covering it.
I see this person's comments all over RUclips, on even the most random things like I thought it was a bot. 😂
I mean it was obvious, especially when they only got one video on their channel and yet somehow a verified acct. and million subs. Plus the red flag of trades and crypto on their profile name, you know these S-bags are peddling their crypto scams or whatever.
could be a sort of bot, paid to comment and might even shared/rented account
I wish I can link YT vid links without getting deleted but yeah. Bitch is all over the place
No but they absolutely use bots. Same as the people with no names and just a checkmark. Its basically having many other bots like their comments to promote their snake oil. They just comment the most generic, nothing-burger comments and it pisses me off.
Sometimes the comments are relevant though....
Good to see a video like this made. Grifters trying to coat themselves as exposers or supporters of exposers of other grifters to give themselves an air of trustworthiness.
Thank you I've seen her in several comment sections and reported her every time! Coffee stays winning.
hey julia look he gave you a shout out! congratulations!

Textbook scammer tactics. Well said julia
the fact that these guys are already successful but still feel the need to scam is really disappointing

These bots must be generating comments by scraping a well performing top comment left by a real person right? I wonder if there is a way of tricking them into commenting something silly about themselves.
They watched a little too much breaking bad and thought they were Gus fring.
Julia about to feel the pettiness of the void in real time.
She’s a great example of how poor peoples perception skills are.
She is a microcosm for the rise of populist leaders
I saw one of her comments yesterday and thought, Trader? Interesting. Whenever i see that in an username it's usually exactly what you're exposing here, so I didn't click because why would I knowing this. She was also first result. Today i see this, my curiosity was fulfilled. I'm glad you did this video!
Coffee I love you for covering this channel, I saw her commenting on your videos, and I went to check out her channel and there was a bunch of scamming videos, and she was constantly claiming she could make $10,000 in under 10 minutes. I wondered how there were a million subscribers, good to see they are all probably fake.
Coffee could make so much money if he decided to scam one day. No one would suspect him....
All I can think of is that one scene from Sally Field's character in "Mrs Doubtfire"... 'the whole time? the whole time? THE WHOLE TIME?!"
i have seen this person's comments EVERYWHERE so haha thanks for covering this :)
I’ve been seeing her in almost every comments section and thought it couldn’t have been a coincidence. Glad to know that I wasn’t the only one who noticed this. This shit is fuckin crazy. Governments need to get AI regulated fuckin ASAP.
I don’t think it’s AI. This issue has been going on for years. The first channel to report it was @Timeworks. If you go to his channel with the term ‘verified’ scroll down to the three year old+ video about it. With the channel ‘x’ or ‘chicken’ and many others, using bots to paste that same comment.
Usually after watching a coffeezilla video, i get an ad for some "not financial advice" nonsense...
yt wont do anything against this by and large bc they feed off of it.
would love to hear your take on influencer management companies and particularly on corporate vtubing. They can be icky middlemen, or worse, and yet it's so tempting as someone who really loves vtube models and struggles with self image to want to find a shortcut to success or get around the "luck factor"

I saw the comments under a bunch of videos and actually began to wonder why her comments were always at the top.
