Although Resto Druid feels a bit lacking overall at the moment, Keeper of the Grove has the most potential to be the next "AFK" healer like Fallen order mistweaver was back in the day! There is a strong shell of synergies here, but I definitely think it could use a small bump in the numbers!

Great review. At the end you were talking about swapping to convoke, this would be what I would do also. Include Prosperity and Reforestation, you proc tree form, generating more guardians and free wrath spam and convoke as needed. You will increase dps and heals. Looks like the rejuvenation spread is gone sadly.
Yeah reforestation is a big talent that I was missing! Those free tree procs are huge
Is the grove guardian moonfire the same spell as the Druid one ? Because for the wild growth it is not and they can all stack
It is the same moonrise from what I tested. I would reapply moonrise to an enemy that the guardian already applied to and it would just reset the timer!
@@LBNinja7 Perfect thanks, but paradoxally it also work very well for catweaving as you dont have to leave cat form to reapply moonfire
Hey man! You should try change your movement keybind from being a keyboard turner, if you change your A and D keybind to strafe your gameplay will increase massively!
I've really been wanting to docthis if I'm being honest! I just need to bite the bullet!
It’s so hard to rebind/relearn those buttons for me. I just end up hitting them constantly
@@LBNinja7 honestly dude you will learn it in a few days. Just bite the bullet and I guarantee in 5-10 keys you won’t even know how you keyboard turned for so long lol
i play grove guardian since it was create and i want to find the genius who think about that, i really enjoy it
I really enjoy it as well. I was a massive fan of fallen order monks and wish they'd come back!
Looks amazing, both cat weaving and balance weaving
i think you left a lot of damage on the table, what about starfire, Convoke the Spirits etc etc, at least you could make a little demo of what your talking about in dummies if you cannot fully do it in a dungeon
I had a clip ready but just forgot to edit it in!
why not talent into soul of the forest? our entire teir set is based of consuming it?
I legit thought I had it talented lol rip! I guess when swapping trees it removed it and I didn't notice!
People don’t complain about disc priest but they complain about resto druid cat weaving. Lmao what a joke
Idk if the hero talents will fix this but the difference, at least in my experience, is that with cat weaving you cast several hots, go cat form, apply dots, repeat. This is, compared to disc priest, very GCD heavy. With my disc I only cast a radiance and then have like idk, 8 seconds or so where I can pump in my mindbender, mind blast, dark reprimand etc to pump dmg and healing. Cat weaving to me felt like an either or thing.
But the similarity in disc and resto I see is that cat weaving, and playing disc in general, becomes very hard when people take so much dmg that the maintenance rotation can not be upheld. The moment I have to pump a few flash heals ito a single DPS I feel like loosing massive HPS
I think there's a very loud minority that complains about any playstyle. People complain about fistweaving, catweaving, holy priest.... like everything. I just think some people are playing the wrong healer for them but aren't willing to swap!
Honestly I believe all healer should do some damage to some point, it just feels good.
I love to dps as a healer and fistweaving is great, but I can't stand cat weaving
Another major difference is your damage does passive healing when fistweaving or playing disc; cat damage doesn’t help you top health bars at all.
Nice..i hate having to be casting shit 100%of the time
You're not forced to play a caster
Fistweaving is the way
Yeah red I think fistweaving might be the way lol!
Imagine being out dps by an afk resto druid
If moonrise is too much for you to handle then it's time to swap to heals 🤣
@@LBNinja7I mean if other healers get out dps by an afk resto
Arcane season has, and never will happen.
You think? I think there's a world where it just does enough damage!
@@LBNinja7 It's always amazing at the start, but Frost and Fire always rise. Might see some play early season 1, if any.
This is going to be so abused in pvp
Just adjust pvp
It was nice having fallen order monks keep me alive through chain ccs, this will probably do that as well!
@@LBNinja7 guardians are already so good in arena, I can only imagine.
I hate being green dps. If I had my way healers would only be able to do damage by over healing, IE 'Any healing done to targets at 100% health is converted to damage against your healing spell's target' and I would give them NO damage spells. You wanna solo quest? Target something and spam heals on yourself.
I get that the title is supposed to be a joke but it’s still kinda triggering. This pervasive idea that healers don’t contribute to the team, exacerbated by healers with low dmg profiles is really frustrating. Especially when thinking about being worn out by healing m+ fortified afflicted run and being completely done by the end.
I just really wish we could move away from healers’ value being inherent in their dmg. While I have absolutely no issue with healers with dmg profiles built in like disc and mistweaver, some of us enjoy a much more healing centered play style. I wish there was a way to accommodate both.
I think you misunderstood it because I didn't mean afk in the sense that they do little damage. People refer to specs as afk healers when ai does a lot of the healing for you, like Grove guardians and fallen order monks
@@LBNinja7 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh ok, my bad. I've been on my traditional healing crusade. That makes sense. Sounds similar to the old "smart heal" arguments, but I suppose something like GG is a bit more on the passive healing side?
Thanks for clearing that up though.
@@Linknla no worries at all! We are both fighting that good fight in the damage dept!
