- Riley Strain's parents are raising more questions about how their son passed away after disappearing from Luke Bryan's bar in downtown, Nashville on March 8th. Riley Strain's family had a private autopsy completed following Metro Nashville Police Department's findings and learned new details that 'blew them away' and 'threw them for a loop.' We are praying Riley Strain's family will get the answers to these questions sooner rather than later.

Poor Riley……..a waste of a wonderful young man’s life. My heart is broken for his parents and family.
His frat brothers that were present that night are shameful. I wonder if he was drugged.
I think he was drugged. In one video a commentator stated that it appeared that a car was following him. He disappeared in an area that had no cameras. I think it is very suspect for him being abducted. He was a very young and handsome man. His missing pants and boots say much. I read a comment on another video about him and a local person indicated there is a lot of suspicious activity in that area and it is not safe. I still think it was foul play. Remember, the debit card was found earlier. No water in the lungs= murder and robbery. There's a guy running away from where Riley was walking towards at the time he disappeared. Where is his phone? Where the heck is his wallet? That Sabrina woman is not crazy. They could put his shirt back on before throwing him in the river days after they hid his body. Foul play for sure. He stumbled into the wrong area sadly.

This is soo heartbreaking, I’m from the area born and raised and I’ve been downtown at night many times , it can be a scary place . What really hurts is seeing the video of him alone walking the streets all alone and vulnerable without anybody to help him . 💔
Especially since was obviously staggering and tripping. He looked drunk very drunk...a sitting duck.
I saw a video where the person looking at the videos and I am assuming it was the same videos that we all saw. But the person picked up on a black car with awesome taillights. He showed it more than once. That's when I started thinking something is going to happen to this young man. It's so frickin sad. I am so sick of people causing harm to anyone!
I would hold that bar accountable simply because the bar tender severed him a drink and should have been able to tell at the beginning that he may have had to much!But no,they served him a drink then decided to put him out,this would not have ever happened if they had not thrown him out..and what did he do to be thrown out is my question???they say he didn't cause any problems so why did they throw him out???YEP I WOULD BE OWNING THAT BAR!!!

I try my best to keep updated on this story. Just my opinion, but i have suspected some foul play from the beginning. Now they have found no water in his lungs leads to more questions than answers. I pray his parents get the answers they so desperately need😢🙏💔
Not only was I sure it was foul play from the beginning, I was sure if he was found the coroner would say no foul play. The police have been so nonchalant about drugging in Nashville bars for decades, I'm starting to wonder if they are who is doing it.

I can't stop thinking about Riley, the BAR and FRIENDS are negligent to not assure his ride to the hotel and sent him falling down drunk in the street, regardless if they served him or not. SMH, so sad and unnecessary loss of life. We need to take care of each other MORE!!
That really bothers me that nobody cared to make sure he got to hotel ok. If he’s so drunk to get kicked out of the bar what makes you think he could be safe walking somewhere especially in an unfamiliar place?!? I am very concerned for him. My 32 year old Son passed away and he was basically swept under the rug. He was transported to the hospital and was pronounced there. I was in such a state that doing our own autopsy wasn't even discussed. They were hell bent he died from drugs. Just as I predicted he didn't even have an aspirin in his system. It took them 9 months to tell me this. I don't want Riley's family live this type of nightmare. It never ever goes away.
Look up Caleb Harris in Corpus Christi ,Texas. He got lost in all the other missing persons cases. Maybe you can help me spread the word. Video on youtube about him. Very mysterious. He was a great kid going to college.

My girlfriend was murdered and 14 years later the case is still opened even though the dirty cops know who the killer was. It was all drug related so the cops don't work those cases to the full extent. Sad but true people.

Check the watch!! It will show time of death and if he was in the water or not at time of death. It shows “swimming “ when you get in the water. It will show if the vitals stopped before or after it goes into swimming mode.

There was awhile back on some platform about missing young men out partying the night they disappeared. Happening in towns with rivers. Always found in rivers with no water in the lungs. Enough times happening in one area you would suspect something. Keep an eye out for anymore disappearance ending the same way. I feel so bad for the family.

It has been happening in Austin,Texas. Lots of men seemingly being drugged and winding up dead in water. There is a vid on youtube. Now we have a good college kid in Corpus Christi. TEX,missing while sitting on his steps waiting for Uber eats. Look it up. His name is Caleb Harris. Been missing since Feb. His case got lost in all these other missing people cases.
Missing men partying in bars and ending up in the water has been happening nationwide since 1997 ish. Often found with date rape drugs in their toxicology and and no water in their lungs. Smiley Face Killer.
This is interesting but more than likely a more likely scenario is that these people are getting drunk and if there is drugs in their system, probably their family didn’t know they were doing drugs people keep secrets like they’re doing drugs. More likely scenarios if they got drunk did drugs, and somehow ended up near a body of water and drowned. I’m not saying the other way is not possible, but it’s much more likely this person in that situation drowned on their own because they were drunk or on drugs I have heard of these cases you’re talking about and it is very interesting and I understand what you’re saying.
The cops from what i have seen and heard are not doing there job! How can one person see Riley shirt on one person, yet it turns up on Riley...? Things aren't adding up. I would stay away from this city. I pray for this family that God comfort them all during this time 🙏

I think someone slipped something into his drink at the bar. He left the bar and someone saw him leaving… perhaps the one who drugged him…followed him and robbed him. He did not drown. He went into that water already deceased. No water in
Lungs means he was dead when he went into the water. Why could they not track his phone down? Find the phone and you might find the killer.

The dry drowning thing is very rare. It certainly doesn’t occur in half the drowning cases. Maybe a fraction of certain cases. As a dive instructor, I know those statistics are very low. Furthermore, the additional evidence in this case is a sign of foul play, in my opinion.

They didn’t say if the pants were belted or not it could of been that when he fell he hit his head and died it could have been that someone robbed him after he died there are so many different things that could of happened there was no outward trauma according to. It did not sit right with me when he was kicked out of the restaurant and none of his so-called friends accompanied him or put him in a taxi back to the hotel..... He was stumbling much too much for someone that was just drinking in my mind... I also wondered why if he was lost, did he not ask the police officer for assistance or directions Etc in the interaction near the overpass.. I pray his family finds peace and or Justice...

My initial thought was that Riley fell down the embankment and hit his head on one of the rocks at the water line, thereby knocking him unconscious and causing him to drown when he rolled into the water. Now they're saying there was no water in his lungs, which rules out drowning. I also didn't hear any mention of head injuries after the autopsy. His debit card was found in the bushes, but now they say he was found without his pants and wallet. Seems suspicious to me, yet they ruled it an accidental death.

He accidentally loses his credit card, accidentally misplaces his wallet, accidentally falls in the river down through a tree and shrub covered embankment yet no scratches or injuries found on his body from that, accidentally loses his boots but manages to keep his socks on, accidentally looses his tight-fitting jeans but his boxers remain in place, and accidentally drowns without any water going into his lungs. I think the homeless man they found near by where they were searching for Riley's body has something to do with his death.

That's what I heard too. He was supposedly taken across town to a warehouse, where he was beaten and robbed. They may have given him some sort of drugs too.

This whole scenario reminds me of the time my car was broken into in a parking lot between my bank and a Perkins restaurant back in 1994. My coworker noticed a broken drivers’ side window on my car on her way back in from lunch and my boss wouldn’t let me out of the building to access the damage until police arrived to check first. Multiple things were stolen including a leather jacket, my 35 mm camera, money, my entire gym bag, etc.
After work, I asked the manager of the restaurant if he could post a bulletin, page asking if anyone witnessed the event as it happened 1 pm in the afternoon!
He explained to me that if folks saw the bulletin, they would be hesitant to return to area knowing what had occurred there. So, there you go, what ever happened to ‘if you see something, say something’??? Sad but true.

So sorry that happened to you, but I think your story is right to the point. Nashville is also a tourist town, not just the center of country music. If somebody is mugging hapless tourists and dumping bodies in the river, this is not going to be good for business, is it? Plenty of motivation for ruling it an accident despite all the red flags.

Glad they had a second autopsy done. Not a doctor, myself either, but thought no water in the lungs meant the opposite...🤔. Maybe too many movies, etc. My oldest son is the same age. Yes, at the very least these fraternities should utilize some kind of mandatory buddy system in these scenarios to ensure that people leaving the bar get back to the hotel safely.

Usually boys sleep wearing socks, boxers, and a shirt. How about him being picked up by a car that evening by someone he knew. He went to bed and didn’t wake up. To cover his death he was driven in the car and thrown in the water. Then, his cleaned credit card was thrown away.

Please look up Caleb Harris. A Christian college student missing since Feb. He got lost in all the other missing people. He was going to college in Corpus Christi Tex. His parents are Christian and its a very mysterious case. They aren't pushy so word isn't spreading enough. There is a reward.

The ruling needs to be changed from accidental if it hasn't because this has FOUL PLAY written all over it! Poor family lost Riley and are laying him to rest only to be left struggling to understand what happened to him. Prayers going up for all involved its truly tragic!
So, the homeless camp have people who heard one of their own yell to them that the person they identified as Riley having fallen into the bushes, and this person yelled that it was somebody who had been drinking, it was okay.
So, from that encounter, no one knows what their man who saw Riley fall into the bushes did from that point on. Riley falls into the bushes. The homeless man has access to Riley. Riley was still alive at that point.
Next thing, two women find Riley's credit card on the ground by the river. Then Riley's body is found many days later in the river, with no evidence he drowned, and powerful evidence something happened to his pants, his wallet and his expensive cowboy boots.
Nothing like sweeping a crime under the rug when the city officials don't want notoriety about how dangerous their streets are for tourists. Nothing to see here. Move along.
Riley hit that concrete pole base head-on so hard he couldn't move for a few seconds... at the very least there should be reports of injuries... Everything about this life taken is "foul play"

Frat brothers can't be trusted. Lots of news about all the secrecy in these fraternities. The Greek life has been under suspicion since the Idaho 4 murders. Another case which is very sus. Could have been a hazing. Why did all the frat boys lawyer up when they returned home? Have not heard anything from any of them.

Yes, the complete silence from Riley's frat "bros" leads me to wonder whether or not Riley even had any genuine friends among this group. Perhaps Riley was generally perceived as the odd man out, and, therefore, was considered expendable.

If his phone was missing, try find my phone. Obvious, I know. Being in the water and getting your clothes torn off by underwater trees, branches and rocks isn’t uncommon. Happened to my daughter’s friend. They saw her go in but the current was too fast. By the time they got downstream to find her it was too late and her clothes were torn off by the turbulent conditions under the water.
Thank you for giving this information. I had no idea current and such could tear clothes off! He might have not been strong enough to fight that current! Someone else who is EMT type said being drunk and then the shock of the icey water could have caused him to have heart failure

Thinking there was no wounds from a knife or a gun shot on Riley, there was no report saying there was a blunt force trauma on Riley. Riley could have been suffocated because what other reason would have caused his death? I believe he was deceased before he was in the water. I believe it’s a cover up. Riley’s case could shut down the tourist industry in that town for good. It’s all about money to me.

As I’ve said from the beginning I personally believe he was set up and killed. More needs to be looked into those he was with that night. Even the amount of time it took for them to report him missing is off. How can you say no foul play in his death when he wasn’t fully clothed when found so lost likely drowning wasn’t the cause of death? I also don’t believe the footage of dude walking by cop in body cam video is Riley. That guy wasn’t stumbling or anything he walking an talking just fine. Ironic that this footage showed up days after him missing an people asking so many questions. I don’t think they expected so much nationwide attention and has to at least get 1 cop with him on body cam since so many of us were asking how the hell did he walk so far an not get stopped or seen by any officers during a Friday night Spring Break weekend in downtown Nashville Tennessee? I believe it was a ritual sacrifice and the cops are in on it. Tennessee is a very ordained state ace they’re are a lot of concerns here. A lot of people go missing here but most don’t make national headlines. Praying for his family and all those who have been affected by tragedies like this. I hate that he didn’t have at last one fraternity brother that was actually a true friend cuz if he had that he’d still be alive today. He should never have been out there alone in the first place unless of course the entire scenario is a lie and the internet from the beginning was to make it look like a drunk guy walking and then something happened. It was reported that there is a business named the same as the hotel. The direction he was walking in and his last location ping was by that business near the bridge. This is so very plausible that directions via the phone is what lead him in that direction to end up in such a dicey area.
Police were too busy trying to close the case instead of doing their job and find the murderer!

I'm sorry but as intoxicated as Riley appeared to be, he was not in the right mind to be under the water and thinking I better hold my breath and then some valve in his throat closed up and he died. That doesn't even seem plausible. It is my gut feeling that this is indeed foul play. This boy did not drown, he was deceased before he entered the water.
There are several dozen cases of young men who went out with friends, got separated, disappeared and then were found partially clothed, by or in water and with no water in their lungs. It's frightening how many times it has happened already.
God knows all and so even if we never find truth. God will render his Justice in his own time. 😊

I’m angry over the shirt issue tho. Time spent reporting and searching for ‘Ross’ who was ‘wearing an identical shirt he found hanging on a fence rail’, reported by a food provider for the homeless? Was that a hoax? If so, I hope those people are charged and get to slumber in a jail cell for a month or so.😡

I think people were saying it was a Ross shirt. The white and black shirt that Ross on friends wore. Then days later people messed up the rumor and thought a guy named Ross was wearing the shirt.
I have a pair of square toed Justin boots, and I use a boot puller to remove them, if it’s available. My boots wouldn’t slip off of my feet in the water. Even with my feet stuck in mud. No way.

Didn't he run into a pole and hit his head? Later he is on video holding his head. No one talking about that fall.
