- Several more major developments have been released as the search continues for missing 22-year-old Riley Strain who went missing after patronizing Luke Bryan's bar in downtown Nashville. Riley Strain's parents have now not only expressed their 'frustrations' with authorities, but they have also gone into more detail on the mysterious woman who Riley Strain last spoke to before his disappearance after attending Luke Bryan's bar on March 8th. Nashville Police have again moved their search efforts to an entirely new county following new leads. We continue to pray for the safe return of Riley Strain.

He didn’t seem so be very intoxicated in the body cam footage. It’s just weird. But personally I’m good at putting on a decent act of sobriety in front of people (when necessary) when I’m intoxicated.

It's odd that Riley was walking in the opposite direction from downtown where the hotel is. I know he was not familiar with the area but when he got to the river, he should have realized the hotel wasn't near the river. His phone was charged, why didn't he call an Uber or look up directions on his phone? Call his frat brothers to say he was lost? When he spoke to the police officer, why didn't he ask for help? The girls who found his credit card said is was really clean...didn't look like it had been laying outside for 8 days and it was found toward the upper portion of the embankment, closer to the sidewalk area. If Riley fell in the water, wouldn't he be screaming for help? The tent city was so close, you would think someone would have heard something. His phone and watch shut off before 10pm, early enough many people would still be awake. Really strange.
Bartender may have drug him. Made him leave so some one picks him up. So he can human traffic him.
He was probably robbed. Someone took his phone and Apple Watch that’s why it was turned off at the same time. Credit card was useless so they tossed it by the river to make it looked like he accidentally fell into the river. It was reported that the condition of the credit card did not looked like it was dropped there for over a week. Pray his parents find closure

Look at all video footage to see if the same individual(s) show up in the footage. This sounds like smiley face killer and he’s going to different states and committing these murders! I’m seeing it as a tragic accident. He was booted from the bar and lost his footing by the river. I am betting he’s near the dam and they will find he went into the water that night.

From the bar to the bridge is a 20 minute walk. Ten minutes from the bar video shows he tripped and fell on 3rd Avenue hitting his head. He walked to Church Street and turned on Gay Street and went towards the river. Went across the crosswalk looked confused. Three or for minutes walk and Riley is on police cam video near a Red Truck. Police said "How are you doing?" Riley responded and acts "normal". Police turns back and Riley is Gone. He probably went in the bushes near the bridge because the police made him paranoid. He dropped his credit card and stooped down to get it and tumbled down into the river. The river was 7 feet higher that night. Phone went in water. iPhone stopped pinging. iPhone are not waterproof 30min or 19feet in water. He fell in and floated downstream. No crime, only a horrible accident. If he was robbed his phone would ping elsewhere.
Most logical conclusion..but then again his body would be floating so it would be found by now so🤷♂️

Thanks for the updates, I hadn't heard some of this yet. I think he went into the river, and I had no idea the Cumberland was this big of a river until I saw the film footage. I hope they can find him soon. Prayers for his family. 🙏🏻

All these searches on the water.. I keep saying it... He is not in the water. The river has dropped 4-5 ft since he went missing. Also I haven't heard anything more about the homeless guy who had his shirt. Last video shows a guy running. In a white T-shirt. .I think it was him. No video I've seen beyond the last camera

The phone & Apple Watch turning off at the same time seems suspicious to me. I say that because one of my friends iPhone was thrown into the ocean (salt water) one night and the next day he went snorkeling in an attempt to find the phone & did find it. The iPhone had been in salt water for at least 12 hours and approximately 15 feet depth & actually was still on when he retrieved it. Of course, he did the normal placing it in rice & the phone worked. I just find it hard to believe that both devices would turn off at the same time in the event he fell into the water. I don’t know the area, but from what I understand the area he was last seen was not a real safe area to be especially under the condition he appeared to be in on the videos released. It makes me wonder if this wasn’t some type of setup, because the bar claimed he was only served one alcoholic drink & two waters. From what I could see in the videos, he appeared to be more than just intoxicated…he appeared to be drugged. I can’t imagine what his parents are going through & I pray that they find him safe, but the amount of time that has passed and no one has seen him just doesn’t leave a lot of hope. Also, it seems like the police are not really interested in doing much to help find him. They should have brought dogs in by now & rescue divers day one. I definitely won’t be going to Nashville for a fun night out with my friends after watching this case. Praying for the safe return of this young man and prayers for his family. I just can’t imagine.

Just following this whole story is just odd, I was thinking when he fell maybe he got a concussion. That's why his mental state was odd.
I was going to agree he was in the river until I looked at the map. He may indeed be in the river, but he is surrounded by forest. If he is lost in the woods he could be alive, I hope they do a thorough search.

Phone and watch may have been in the possession of a theft when the girl texted him. To avoid controversy they replied to her low on power. First thing they do is erase everything so they cannot be tracked.

I am from Nashville, and worked for years close to the Cumberland River downtown. It’s not an easy downhill hike to the river. Think he would have knocked himself out before reaching the water. Surely they would have found him by now if he was in the water.

So, *Why has no one discussed the Fraternity Brothers*?! & MULTIPLE ISSUES I HAVE REGARDING THEM. First, they faili to alert anyone until 10:30 a.m., then had to be told by RILEY'S PARENTS to GO & CONTACT authorites ASAP, & don't achieve this until 1:30p.m. ? (almost 14 hrs after Riley is 86'd from the Bar)
& After the fact, that they allegedly, looked but couldn't find him later on, & what?! Just decided that made sense? & wasnt akarming to anyone? So, ibstead, that evening, they fail to even check on him, in spite if what they claim, & i believe no one checked on him , btw! or if he made it to his room safely, as HE HADNT & WAS MISSING THEN & DISSAOEARED AROUNF 10P.M. AROUND GAY ST. & "TENT CITY" BRIDGE AREA. So no... they didnt check & didnt care to check, almost as if this was expected or , minimally neglected & abandoned in all duties as friends, brothers & fraternity kin.... WHAT A TRULY @%$ING DISGUSTING LACK OF COMMON SENSE, ETHICS AND CARE ! These guys deserve the weight and heat to start being olaced on their shoulders and RILEY'S FAMILY DEAERVES SOME ANSERS, CLAIRTY AND I WVEN BELIEVE THEY SHOULD BE INTERROGATED.

Why did ZERO OF HIS FRAT BROTHERS MAKE A STATEMENT? Why have none of them made an effort to stay behind during those first days of the search?
The FRATERNITY Beothers need to be interrogated and I want to know who was with and around Riley,
Was there a targeted initiation rotual for Riley that night? Was he either slipped or spiked with something? Or did he willingly oartake in something for the evening?
Also, Riley likely had at minimal a concusiion possibly even contusion or brain swelling from that fall; was there blood found? IF THERE WAS THEN WAS THERE A TOXICOLOGY REPORT DONE? This isn't how someone acts who is 6'6" and had 1 drink and 2 waters ;
He possibly could have had more drinks prior, so... What did the sales and receipts for drinks served at the prior establishments that night say?
Theres a lot that needs to be answered and people need to start making a conserted effort to put this on BLAST. It may be a little early still as the priority is RILEY ; I just have some major issues here with his "Brothers" and a lot of quesrions that need answering and clarified.

Recently, in a Nashville Park, a man assaulted a teenage boy.
The police were able to get pictures of the man's vehicle and it looks uncannily like the vehicle that slowed down right before Riley interacts with the police officer
You will have to look up the news story as I have lost the link but I deeply encourage everyone to go look at that news story as well. There is an artist rendering of the assailant and a picture of his vehicle. People who have been down there looking may have seen this guy trying to cover his tracks or something. Maybe even throwing Riley's car down the ravine or whatever. Or maybe they can help identify this person because he needs to be off the streets anyway

I am getting more and more convinced that he was taken I don't believe that text was sent by him and that's why it doesn't make sense I think that whoever took him wanted everybody to think he went into the river and I think if he had gone into the river he would have been found at the dam. Also his watch should have stayed on in the water. I think an opportunistic predator happened to come across him while he was getting sick and took advantage of the situation. Its unbelievable how many times there was a chance for him to be saved but yet noone showed enough concern.

Riley's last text message - "good LOBS" - might have meant LOCALS OUT BOTHERING/BULLYING STRANGERS - as in bothering/bullying him, a stranger to that area, at the bar where he was 'kicked out of'.

I don't think he is alive I'm sorry. Today is day 12. My Theory from late last night after thinking, that he probably is in the water. The only other explanation is probably some bad person or persons jumped him and hid him. I Pray for the family, I can't imagine what his mom is feeling right now. This whole thing sounds like a tragedy that will become worse, & it would have been prevented had he been more responsible.
His parents said he was seen on his phone. They don’t know if it was a conversation with his friends. It is not hard to find out who calls you at what moment, so what I think actually happened here is that he was using the speech feature on the phone after he got the text from the girlfriend, asking him if he was having fun. He probably spoke on the phone and sent a text saying “Good Lost”
Because of his slurred speech, the phone probably just sent it as lops.
He’s in the water. What makes more sense, he hit water and his devices both stopped sending a signal or that someone or even himself just decided to turn off his devices and put his debit card on the shore of the river.
He stumbled and fell. Not very interesting but it’s what happens when you’ve had too much to drink.

Apple Watches are water resistant. That doesn’t mean you can swim with them on. Water resistant is not the same as waterproof. Unless a phone is in a waterproof case, like an otterbox, the phone and watch will die once water seeps around the electronic components.
they are resistant up to a certain depth so if it was in the water and it is 30 feet down it won't be waterproof anymore plus even if it is waterproof it won't be transmitting in the water

He is within 3 miles of where he was seen at the first bridge. He was throwing up, took his shirt off, sat down, eventually got up and stumbled down the hill where his debit card was found...from there, he wandered off and is within 3 miles near black eyed susans.
One of his fraternity brothers is a rival and may have put a substance in his drink as a prank.

people who drug people should be charged with assault. when I was younger, I did a lot of partying and me and my friends banned people from our parties when someone would, for example, "ninja dose" people with things like LSD. what a mess. years later, I took my ex wife to a Star Wars convention at the local science museum. it was afterhours and alcohol was being served. She ordered a Long Island Iced Tea which she took one sip of before putting it down next to an exhibit. she said "this thing is gross.." and I said "of course it's gross! it's a Long Island Iced Tea!" she was like "do you want it?" and I said "nahhhh...but I'll go ahead and drink it because it was $9." I downed it quickly and when I got to the bottom of the cup, there was a tiny white ball of what I thought was a piece of styrofoam in the bottom of the plastic cup. I pulled it out and crushed it between my fingers, where it turned to powder. about 5 minutes later I became incredibly intoxicated. it felt very much like I had taken a Xanax bar or something similar. I was starting to lose vision at this point and we left the convention. I was super f****d up at this point in the evening. I stayed awake until the effects wore off and me and my ex called the science museum numerous times that night to report it and no one answered even though the event was still live. can't even go to a literal nerd convention these days, apparently. Still praying for Riley and his family. I don't have kids so I can't imagine what his parents are going thru.

If he only had one drink, obviously, maybe someone had given him some kind of a drug. I am so sorry to his mother and his family. I know this has to be the worst possible nightmare.

This may sound dumb but have they checked hospitals/morgues around the surrounding area? Recently there was an issue with people being missing in Detroit area but, come to find out they were at the county morgue. Hopefully someone is checking all options in the area not just in the city but neighboring areas too.
The girl had asked him if he was having fun..... So he possibly meant to text "good lots" ... Like he was having a good time and having "lots " of fun .

Police said it was too dangerous to go looking on the steep embankments. They wouldn't even send dogs down and around the steep embankments. It is too dangerous. The homeless live on those steep embankments. It doesn't bother them. It was a homeless man that was wearing his shirt. A homeless man living on a steep embankment could unalive him and put him in all the brush , grass and trees where the police say it's too dangerous for them to go but the homeless man lives there.
The phone is water resistant, too. Look at the police. So many cases where the police were the last person to see the missing person.
