Not to mention his lack of right to rule will more than likely unite the kingdoms so your facing off against armies comprised of all the best units, with swadian knights, nord huscjarls, vaegir archers, etc.
Been there, only there were almost 2k enemies marching at my castle. Luckily I had about 200 somewhat decent troops with me who blocked the stair with their bodies while I've been chopping heads with my long war axe. Took me about an hour, by the end my character was as red as the color of my new kingdom.
But you can go to any king and join their empire, say u wanna pledge your oath to them. You lose kingdom but you keep your town. So you have a nice income from it and a place to garrison units.
Bro if you play this game in hard settings and only play by simulating battles and found your own kingdom( since the ai is playing like that), you will see that sultan hakim actually plays much better than you
If you want to immediately have every kingdom declaring war on you, you can easily take a castle or city any time you like lol Those 1 - 3 weeks are necessary tho if you want to build up Right to Rule.
well, ariko's goal was to get his own kingdom asap but protecting it and actually expand with forces given is another story. Personally I prefer having enterprises in every city before starting conquest so i have income to sustain powerful armies&garrisons and some big money on balance for time being since some of them will get frozen eventually (factions i have war with will block them). And you can only imagine how much time does it consume yet my problems are reduced to in what order shall I destroy my opponents :)

And obviously you'll need leadership character for that (emphasis on char and int) with bare acceptable minimum on combat stats

So I've watched a couple of these now, and basically I see you do the same things: Head for the Rhodoks, raid their back two villages, sell goods in Swadia to buy mercenaries while waiting to see what city gets taken first. The recently taken city will have a small garrison and typically surrenders. I doubt you set out to make a taking Rivacheg video it just so happened to be the city that was taken when you were ready to go grab one.
@@FrogMast3r When I found out the game didn't do anything to save while closing the game in M&B2 ironman mode, I was elated, just takes a bit longer to load up your save after "quitting" but it's an incredible cheese after something terrible happens. I do this often on the PS4 version, some games make a save if the game is manually closed. Surprised TW didn't write a countermeasure for this sort of thing. If they do it likely won't come to the PS4 version (they seem to have just plonked it on consoles and forgot about those ports), and it'll easily be modded out on PC, probably.
He never entered combat and memorised where options were so he went through menus fast. He the attack a recently conquered city with low garrison to force surrender. It helps that the speedrun is just to get a kingdom, not hold it as if he kept playing he woulda lost it right away
Run to the closest king you can find who is not at war with the faction from whom you took the city and ask to be his vassal. You might not be able to hold the city for long even after this, but you might get a week or two of income, which certainly helps.
I one time had an army of 80 men take on an army 394, we were raiding a village and sure enough 2 armies coming flying towards us, sure enough came out on top with 60 strong men still ready for a fight, you would think my right to rule would sky rocket but there I was sitting at 10
That is the mosr broken thing about MB Warband, you can stockpile mercenary horseman or better, Swadian Knights and no one will beat you, it even gets boring that with 60 or 80 units can crush even 400 of enemies

What I did was just do tasks for the Lord of Rivacheg, pump all my points into charisma and persuasion, and convinced him to become my vassal. Then, I immediately indicted him for treason and moved my court to Rivacheg and I've never struggled with money since. Now, Vaegirs, Khergits, and Sarranids are no more. EZ.

This is more of a neat one-time trick. As soon as you have a kingdom with next to no right to rule or renown, EVERYBODY will declare war on you to try and take what you have. A stable kingdom would take days to speed run.
Actually this can be a useful early game strategy for joining any faction you like with a higher than average income rate. If you own a fief, you can go to just about any king and ask to join. They've always said yes for me, because it's free land. You get to keep the land, and nobody can declare war on you.
Wait, towns actually surrender? I've outnumbered towns of 60 guys with my own army of 300 and they'll laugh me out the gates for trying to negotiate. I thought it was just a moot button prompt.
If you wanna beat this speedrun you need: Luck: 185% Know the place: 30% Know where to click: 40% Know what person you should create: 55% P.S thats from 100%
Possible strat that could make it faster, but would require restarting the run if it failed: ask if a lord needs a task done, get tax job. When the peasants get upset, you can placate them by lowering the taxes taken. Maybe a viable strat? Would save a ridiculous amount of time, as you wouldn't have to go on a recruit recruiting mission
How do I turn off auto saving I’m on ps4 playing warband and it keeps autosaving everytime I leave camp or town or castle it’s super annoying and took like 3 hours of my time total
I generally find it difficult to find bandits after I get about 40-60 guys in my party. I'll get swarmed when I only have a few guys but then when I have a decent raiding party I can't find anyone to train off of
Simple answer is he immediately hires enough men to put off looters and the small bandit parties you'll see at level 1. He also judiciously avoids the Nord, Khergit, and Sarranid lands where the most dangerous bandits are found. Also a good slice of luck.

Actually, I'm pretty sure this is the world record time for it. Though yeah, most Mount and Blade speedruns dont look impressive since it's just clicking on a map, knowing exactly where the options in menues are, and praying bandits dont attack.

After taking rivacheg with a couple of recruits and caravan guards in first 5 min, you can turn the ai settings to normal and enjoy vaegirs destroy your new faction
Funny, I had an easy time taking Rivacheg too in my game. I just lay siege, sat all my men back, went to the top of the ladder, and poked their men with a pointed stick from a safe distance until I won.
Which is what makes it a unique speed run, since you aren't going to get the same method of execution every play through. Rather watch different forms of speed runs of this, than speed runs of games where it's literally the same path for the 20,000 time, but they slightly jumped to the left a little more than they did before, so they shaved .000004 seconds off their run lmao.

@AzerGhost16 Well in my runs there's a siege of a flef but something like 1-2 months after start of a game, yet i've never experienced the reclaiming so quickly or ever.
I usually begin fighting looters, then move on to winning and betting on Tournaments, then take that money and open up shops in several town to make sure money is coming in and then i truly become a warlord after that, but that means me running around the map for a long time solo.
I’ve got the best armor and weapons and really high stats on my character and can take down an army of 200 unless they stun block me with fucking javelins
Pffft you can get that in hour 1. Just go in there and ctrl+alt+f4 XD Never played vanilla so idk if it's easier but playing pendor and perisno and ffs it took me 38 days to take my first castle (granted I waited until I got a good chunk of right to rule). This is suicide. You'll lose that castle by day 10.
Never understood the thing where they fear you so much they just give out they're city whats the trick for it? I could have more soldiers then the city itself and they still wouldn't give up.
the game itself has a speed up mechanic the video isnt sped up stellaris also has the same mechanic where you can set the time ck2 has it aswell imperator rome has it almost any of these games do have it so you dont waste your time waiting for them to slowly get to a city it would get boring from a players perspective

@AzerGhost16 Well in my runs there's a siege of a flef but something like 1-2 months after start of a game, yet i've never experienced the reclaiming so quickly or ever.

I usually begin fighting looters, then move on to winning and betting on Tournaments, then take that money and open up shops in several town to make sure money is coming in and then i truly become a warlord after that, but that means me running around the map for a long time solo.

Never played vanilla so idk if it's easier but playing pendor and perisno and ffs it took me 38 days to take my first castle (granted I waited until I got a good chunk of right to rule). This is suicide. You'll lose that castle by day 10.

the game itself has a speed up mechanic the video isnt sped up stellaris also has the same mechanic where you can set the time ck2 has it aswell imperator rome has it almost any of these games do have it so you dont waste your time waiting for them to slowly get to a city it would get boring from a players perspective
