Hey Andrea, bun rieu is one of my favourite Vietnamese dish, you made it so good! Your right, we can’t make it without the soya bean crab paste, it’s a must for sure. I usually make the broth with pork ribs then pour in the tomato mix in, now you got me craving for this 😋

Good flavor Andrea, from shrimp shell, fish sauce and everything. Tiger shrimp looks good and perfect size i just cant have it. Nice looking soup bowl, its colorful…i like bean sprouts.
What a cozy soup! I've never had pork and crab together - never even cooked with crab - but I'm sure this is so amazing! You know you have my attention at tomatoes! The presentation is so inviting, I'd really love to taste this! I bet that it's perfect after a busy day at work!

Your rieu is way too watery which is why it broke off. You didn't have any meatballs in the bowl...I only see crumbled pork ahaha...the meatballs should float up when it's done.
