Sounds great! For years I had a 2v with a Kenne Bell 2.1, intercooled, 3.73's, long tubes and a good tune. 420whp/400lbs car pulled very well. All i heard was " 2v's are junk, slow, whatever. That car actually shut more than a few up. And btw they're great looking when theyre lowered with the right wheels and offset.

I own anb 03 and it is pure pleasure driving it ,it has 75,000 miles on it and ive had it since 2017 and i love this car and she has it all comp cams stage 3 bbk 78mm tb excel coils 320gph fuel pump,5.0 shifter,coni shocks bmp tubular front control arms flow master out law exaust predator tuned for 93 oct.200 amp altenator,4 row radiator with dual fans 30lb injectors,cold air intake 90mm map sensor, and she flys will bury speedo so quick it will scare you ,i love my new edge i will never sell her im 65 and im a speed demon very fun car ford really made one that you never tire of getting behind the wheel ,i know you feel the same way too

Damn this makes me miss my 00 mustang gt. All I did was a muffler delete and damn it sounded so amazing. Was planning on getting it built and cammed before some teenage girl ran a stop sign and fucked it up when I was driving home.
Man the 99-04 GT's were wayy before it's time looked good, sounded good & are very versatile for swaps, but if only Ford made them with an additional 160 hp from factory there would be much much less Coyote swaps going on. I mean how can you not like that classic mod motor sound??
@@NewEdgeDesignsFord should have given the forged internal treatment to the 4.6 2v’s like they did with the pushrod 5.0’s on the fox body’s. IMO 260hp/302tq w/forged internals would have been the ticket! Just slap a supercharger/turbo on, few other supporting mods and have a nice reliable 400-500 horsepower. I get it from their viewpoint, if they did that to the GT nobody would be buying the 4v cobras (even if the 99 & 01’s came forged). Also it would have put the price point right above the Z28 w/less power. Honestly I think the 2v would have had a lot more respect regardless of the “low” hp output if it came with better internals.

It's just because this new generation of kids don't know anything about building cars or engines and all they care about is a 5000+ lb cheaply built hellcat because it's faster than factory vehicles. Me and my buddies had 700+ HP supercharged and turbos mustangs before hellcats were even thought of. So if you don't know how to build a car, they just buy a dodge.

did you do springs with this? in between these and hitech stage 2's. These are more lopey but have a higher powerband range I believe than the stage 2 from hitech? Wondering as well if you got it dynoed or have a rough estimate of what its making? Car looks and sounds good.
@@XxEl.SosaxX they unfortunately start to break down with you trying to do anything to that motor but I agree if your stock and atleast car for the car they will last
The 4.6 is one of the best motors ever made, ask any real gear head or mechanic.. They also aren’t slow at all and can be modded up to 450hp and still be very reliable.. They also have the funnest torque curve for street driving, right between the Fox body low end grunt and the top end of the coyote (an absolute mid range champion)

Control arms were just put on and not torqued yet . They were very loose , or I would have lit them up a little .

true not very powerful stock but they are probably the most reliable had one with 266xxx on the dash and not a single hiccup original trans and motor
