Very good video. I am a new rider and I just noticed that my 2022 Harley XL883N Iron 883 has way too much free play in the throttle. My bike has very low mileage on it also. It only had 1200 km on it when I bought it from the dealership so maybe the throttle was never adjusted before, I am not really sure. When I roll on the throttle there is a lot of free play until the throttle actually opens up to tension. I also noticed this as when I am upshifting to a higher gear when I roll back on the throttle, it takes a bit for my bike to respond to the acceleration of upshifting thus the shifts are not smooth because of the lag response of the throttle.

Cannot thank you enough for making this video!! By far, your video is the clearest one on RUclips explaining the touches of throttle and return ledges. Your tutorial is simple, clear & concise.
Here is what happened : I put bar risers making my cables ended up too tense and the throttle became very sticky. My local dealer said I need to get a pair of new cables and it costs me around 250 dollars. Plus, I need to leave my bike with him for one week because of all the cable measurements, swapping and adjustments.
Thanks a lot !!!! You have a good one !!
