i used a couple from here verify files, switched off and back on, used the settings to run game in high, but also stopped having amd adrenaline software running on the other monitor, so far so good
I spent 3 hours trying different things thank you so much what ended up workin for me is in graphics settings adding all the cods: launcher, mw2,mw3 and the other file and setting high output

Yes, what worked for me was the 'Make Sure MW3 is running in the correct GPU' part. I don't know how or why, as I have everything set to run on my Nvidia graphics card, but after that, I was able to play. Thank you very much; I had been trying to fix it for three whole days. Now, I'll be able to play with my friends.
This worked for me as well. No idea why I would need to do this on my PC to begin with, but it immediately solved the issue
What do you mean by correct gpu part? Been having this issue all day after many updates and redownloading the game it’s still the same

For some this might work, i have X570+ 7900xtx board and started to crash a lot in MW3, then I plugged all my usb:s in the gen2 ports in the back and left usb 3.2 gen 1 ports empty, i have not had crashes since
For people still having problems, I tried pretty much everything in the videos and nothing fixed it, but today I reseted my pc and started as new, after installing all the drivers again I went into the bios and made sure resize bar was enabled, and enabled other options that were disabled, played 5 games in a row without a problem, this was not possible before, I’ll keep testing it though. Also changed obvious settings like set the power supply to performance, etc.
Btw, my set up is rx 7900 xtx gpu, msi b550 board, ryzen 7 5800x3d

I just re installed cod, loaded in to a game and crashed before i coud get a kill, its just a bad game now
Out of about 12 methods I've tried and countless youtube videos, I think this one finally fixed my mw3 crash, at least in multi-player.
I was finally able to play 3 games without the game crashing.
Whats stupid is that before the new update, my game was running fine, and now I can't even play mw3 zombies without it crashing midgame, and even my other game like dying light 2, it just crashes the same way as this one. No corrupted files and no gpu/cpu issues, it might be because I went from radeon rx 570 to a rtx 4070 super, even though I erased all the drivers for radeo and installed the nvidia ones.
I'm gonna see if I can get it working by the end of the week.

same thing happened to me. I upgraded my pc and basically got everything new. got RTX 4070Ti, 32 ram, ryzen 9 7900x and this stupid crap crashed on me mid game cant even play a complete game of zombie. btw, it was fine until i updated my window to 11. I was so frustrated so i did a clean installed on my PC and only have 2 programs installed now, fortnite and COD nothing else and it still crashed. so BS man
Finally, after struggling for more than a month, the solution is to disable focus mode and then set the FPS to the same Hz number as the screen. 👍👍👍👍👍
Any of these fixes work for the newest iteration of warzone? i am experiencing constant Directx errors.

Yeah idk i cant even load the game it asks if i want to play in safe mode ive tried yes and no then it just says unrecoverable directx error ive tried EVERYTHINGGG

I get this error everytime after i finished one multiplayer game and want to go to the armory then.. not on any other menu, only armory, really good for camo grind :D

I deleted the game with "geek" and all data behind the game and reinstalled it, no more problems now! It could help if you got undervolted your GPU or something like that to deactivate it too!

@@Mrplayer13 read my answer to this comment i deleted the complete game and reinstalled it, turned off undevolting settings on gpu and now it workes fine 😊
Check if you have PathTracing enabled for menus. Some people get crashes because of that with Nvidia cards
i’ve had trouble tabbing out of cod bc everytime i did it. would give me da directx error but all i did to fix it was change my display mode from full screen exclusive to borderless & i haven’t gotten da error

It's cod. I have the same problem. There's a video with a link to a fix pack u can download and that worked for me last time but after season 3 came out of mw3 nothing has worked and I can't do anything

What the heck did they do i was playing fine then all of a sudden it crashes thinking it was a fluk i started the game again and it just kept happening i have tried everything online absolutely nothing has fixed it trust me i have tried everything and i just bought the new cod3 and cant even play it blizzard has no real help with support or a number to call
This! I have tried everything I can think of and it crashes just randomly in Zombies and Warzone. I’m going to try and install the old drivers for the GPU, if that doesn’t work I’ll try and reinstall the entire game 🫠

@@hardromeo436 Agreed, I had no issues up until the season 1 update. I will figure out how to report it to their tech team and see if they can find a fix or a patch.
It's crazy how many people are having issues and nothing is being done about it.

For me this made it worse. I tried each of these suggestions. I would like to start that I have no issues running the game on my desktop. I am trying to run it on my laptop which is far newer and has better specs than my desktop. I used to play COD MWII on my laptop from time to time. I tried to run the beta on it this morning and it started crashing on me in each of three games I tried to play. I found this video and completed each of the steps. Now I can't even get COD to open it crashes out before I can even get to MWII let alone the MWIII Beta. I need some help please.....
im in a very similar situation. can run the game on my pc but it has outdated tech. my brand new laptop with a 4070 and i7 13700 is having consistent Directx errors...

my game fixed itself after i closed all the other windows, and reopened fraps and discord...
For those who are still experiencing this, deleting the players' folder is what solved my crashing issues. I hope this helps.

in the NVidia control panel, I just turned off low latency mode and a few others and it just worked.
what else did you turn off in the control panel?
none of this works. its not my pc or settings its the game. they screw something up every update.

@@VivienneNGS so I uninstalled the updated drivers then re installed using custome update then I went to my system display, clicked on graphics put the beta at high performance, then I went in game and turned the reflex off and then increased all of my settings and I’ve played 10 games so far without crashing and before I couldn’t finish 1

nothing works games keep crashing every several games. have contacted activison now that the gonna look in to it and fix it with hotfix as its problem of them not us. as it only happens with call of duty nothing work settings to d10-d11-d12 nothing fixes this crap

Same bro , tried everything only conclusion I came across with out the game crashing was playing on super low graphics and I MEAN EVERYTHING SET TO LOW ! imagine doing that on 4090 lol idk after this new seasonal update it’s been bad ,I’m surprised they haven’t noticed and try give us pc players a hot fix by now already ,but than again Nvidia did an update too so it could be on their end as well
@@grimmshadyyy Unfortunately Nvidia released crappy drivers that have more or less bricked our graphics cards... my 3060 Ventus x2 cant even play minecraft right now without major graphic issues and stutters... the card is literally 5 months old and played games like ark survival evolved on epic graphics and still rocked 100 fps now i cant play anything.. bout to get a refund from activision and from nvidia for breaking my card and go back to my ps4... or upgrade to ps5
@@Scottsman1992 have you tried deleting all the updates of the graphics card and instal backwards? I read on line some people did this and it works a lot more efficiently

I'm noticing it happen when I am in between matches and try and jump to the armory or gunsmith. someone mentioned uninstalling and reinstalling. I'm going to try that now.
@@Lord_Thumbs mine happens during game at random times but it can happen 3 4 times a game or i can go through 5 games with no hassle so i have no idea what the issue is
Reinstall didnt work, I believe it has something to do with one of the blueprints. Ill do more research.

Update(10/17/2023): Either the newest game update or the update to Nvidia drivers fixed it for me, am back to being able to play again. Really would've liked to have played the MW3 beta but nothing I can do about it now I guess.
I've tried everything under the sun to get this game working but every time it just shoves me this DirectX unrecoverable error. MW2 was working fine on Tuesday, but after they forced me to download the MW3 Beta and update my drivers, its just completely unplayable now. Tried reinstalling drivers, tried reinstalling the game, tried reinstalling DirectX and C++ redistributables, tried clearing the shader cache, tried renaming the players folder, tried restarting PC, I even realized MW3 now requires it be on an SSD, so I moved MW2 from my HDD to SSD and still didn't work. I'm convinced Nvidia just pushed faulty software, because I tried absolutely everything and nothing is working. I played MW2 fine for 10 months and all of a sudden they force the beta on me alongside a driver update and everything is broken and I can't even play the game I actually PAID for anymore.

Glad to know I’m not the only one. The only fix is to run at the absolute worst possible graphics and it works fine but now the game is blurry. Once you increase graphics at all it’ll crash

I had the same issue, 3 days straight of going over multiple videos and nothing worked… but I eventually got it too work today. What worked for me was updating my windows drivers.. all you need to do is go on settings and update your windows to the newest one possible. Hope this helps anyone struggling cause I was in the same shoes!! 🫡
