@@seansingh4421 It is really only a terrible idea if you aren't using a firewall or going on sketchy websites, that's how you can actually get hacked in minutes. Edit: It also goes without saying that it is not good practice to make online transactions on Windows 7 these days either but I do recommend dualbooting Linux Mint if you ever need something else to work with and still want to keep Windows 7.
Great video man, I am a Windows 7 enthusiast myself. Your recording seems to be very smooth on obs. How did you achive that? Every time I try to record it goes to 15-20 FPS on my 5700XT
The default settings in obs are really bad so you have to adjust them yourself, make sure to set the fps to 60, and put the bitrate at 4,500 for 1080p, (when I recorded this video I had the bitrate too low so the quality wasn't even that good lol)
I had to finally move to 10 on my desktop, internet stuff was becoming impossible. But i mainly just use the desktop as a NAS, and its nice to have regular drivers instead of hacked in drivers to make it work.
Firefox ESR (Extended Support Release) does provide versions that work on Win7 and provide most of the features of the updated version for Win10. It does appear that FF-ESR will not be updated for Win7 anymore, but the current version is fully compatible with HTML 5.0, latest SSL / security features. Microsoft Edge is also available for Win7 (not updated anymore) and since it is based on the Chromium Engine, it is a viable replacement for Google Chrome and works quite well!

Same here, I still use Windows 7 and dualbooted with Linux Mint too in case I really need it. I am also happy to say that I don't care how obsolete Windows 7 is either and it should be fine as long as you are using common sense. In simple terms, old ≠ unsafe exactly like most people think as long as you are not installing malware and as long as you are using a firewall.

I've never used Vista aside from a VM, and because of my hardware it'd definitley be a pain to get it installed, if you're using it yourself then it wouldn't be a bad video idea for your own channel!

Believe me, it's not as bad as you'd think it would be. Certainly easier than XP, but a bit rougher than 7.
I've never used Vista aside from a VM, and because of my hardware it'd definitley be a pain to get it installed, if you're using it yourself then it wouldn't be a bad video idea for your own channel!
