I appreciate the video, but the fact that Activision even has these problems is a joke. We download 200GB, which is an insane storage size for a game like this. To basically have to RIP our PCS to the bone, or it crashes. People have 5k+ PCS that run other games in Ultra with zero problems, but CoD you can have a 10k PC on minimum and a background activity causes it to crash? Nah, I’m just sticking to console. It’s a joke how their coding is.
Funny part is mw3 kept crashing my console thought it was overheating clean it up reassembled still the same thing played RDR2 ,Apex & GTAV for hours no issue I start my console start mw3 play for a bit then crashes. So I decided to build a PC with hope that things would be different boy was I wrong
This all great until CoD releases an update or patches then you’re back to square one watching this video again, again, and again. Verifying integrity file never works in steam. Which probably is the majority of people crashes are of. I usually have to make a dummy file copy and paste everything that’s in the HQ folder uninstall and delete. Reinstall game pause and uninstall then copy and paste everything from dummy fold back into the new HQ folder then reinstall for the validation. It work with zero crashes until patches and update come along.
@@DevinJ1210 My issue was Geforce experience. Once I deleted it my issues went away it had sum to do with GeForce experience optimizing the games, and that was making them crash.
This helped you? And what helps with the game saying whoops looks like something broke. It did this to me on battlenet during a scan and repair. Now I can still play but I crash in the firing range in mid game in ranked causing penalties. Its so annoying. I tried all the Ethernet settings and everything possible and it still crashes . Also my game files are broken and I dont wanna delete my progress but I want to fix that

So I’ve been having the same problem with my Ryzen 9 7900X. I’ve read that if your CPU and Ram speeds are too high, anything over 5,000 MHz, the game and or computer will crash due to the system thinking it is overclocking. Hopefully they fix it soon!!

@@DracoRay literally only happens in zombies it either freezes during the first game or after one game and I’ve done every fix possible whatever you said plus every other RUclips video didn’t work just not even fun anymore.

( could also lowering vram target usage to 60% in game settings )

when you set priority to high for cod.exe you will have to do this each time you started the game each time you run the game it will auto set to a lower setting and you will have to re set priority to high for cod.exe again. hope this helps some people out..

Leave that part off, some users depending on how your windows was setup and installed with your profiles this will affect it. Dont use admin mode in this case it will launch again.
I struggled with the game crashing for 3 days. I tried everything, but I replaced the cable with HDMI2.1 and it helped me because I had an old DVI and the game crashed due to refreshing.

@@kaponeboss8914 I have same CPU with 4070ti. B550 tomahawk MB and B die ram. Zombies has severe frame drop issues when looking into the middle the map or hitting a mystery box. Usually just looking at the mystery box beam it stutters and drops high frame. I go from 220 to 112. Sometimes 90.

I’m testing here if anyone can give me a tips or help figured out what’s wrong after I upgrade my cpu to Ryzen 5900x from 3700x . It’s absolutely no fps difference after I upgraded , tried switch to 1080p but no increase in fps at all . Is my 3060 12GB to weak for the 5900x ?
I did the exact same thing I upgraded from a 3700x to a 5900x and I saw minimal if any FPS gains in Multiplayer but did see a little more FPS in Warzone. SO I upgraded to 3070 RTX and now a 3080 RTX and that made a huge difference.
Could be something in the config files. I remember there being one specific thing to change in that file having to do with number of cores your CPU has
Battle net if u click on retail after show in file explorer scroll down to cod and do the same thing u did to the launcher as pretty sure thats needed aswell as the way u do it its for the launcher im on windows 10 and started crashing after the launch of season 1 i seen another video and they did both the launcher and the file inside the retail folder and so far so good for me

The fact that I can only get into the joining tdm/game/round before my game crashes is insane

For some users depending on how you installed your Windows OS and your windows profile. The administrator settings will not work or are not necessary.
Do it for the launcher instead of cod.exe
None of these worked for me but what helped was allowing access in firewall exceptions and reverting Windows 11 back to windows 10. No more crashes!

Why does my game not run when disabling full screen optimizations and running as administrator. Nvidia rtx 4090, Steam.

If your PC is HARD freezing there is a hardware issue or overheating happening. if your getting an error message etc please send my way

Guys if anything wont fix the crash i rolled back with nvidia drivers and worked with no problems

Also remember to check your RAM usage 8 gigs is not enough the game uses about 15 gigs of ram
You also don’t want NVIDIA explorer o and you can reboot the driver itself when you install it o and there’s more things

This has been happening for years, overlays and certain software will WRECK havoc with this poorly coded game. specifically NVidia or discord overlay
Only problem i have fps drop in zombies in certain areas from high fps it drops to 60
