What do you think about the questions at the end? Yes? no? Stop talking bikedogtor and keep wrenching? And Why is there so much water where a street is supposed to be?
I'm a brick mason in the United States. I absolutely love the stihl ts420. Its handled all my temper tantrums as an apprentice being thrown around and stuff. Now that I have my own it was nice to see someone take it apart so I have an idea of whats going on. Great video!
I am a stihl tech if you put a aftermarket piston and cylinder on get a good 1 some have a problem of the coting coming off the cylinder and then it will not last long
I would like to see how you cleaned everything . I myself like to take old things and rebuild them so it always nice to see different methods of cleaning
Really nice video sir, i always wanted to know how this machine worked. you made my day. thank you very much, and i would really like to see you rebuild it.
I found Muscle-Milk-KTM's comments to be the most helpful and accurate instructions. I would only add for cleaning that you can use de-greaser and a pressure cleaner to blast off most of the concrete dust and muck on the parts. Easier when disassembled. Use only about 1.5 - 2 K psi with a fan spray tip. Be careful never to point it into your exhaust, carby inlet or crank-case. If you accidentally did, shake out the water and blow out with compressed air. Spray some water dispersant into the crankcase if it was affected. once all the parts are clean, leave them in the Sun for about 1-2 hours which will dry the machine out enough to use. Same can be done even when machine is assembled. Just shake all the water out and blow with compressed air afterwards.
Before you take off the cylinder either use a cylinder stop for the purpose or put rope in the cylinder through the spark plug hole for the piston to bottom out against to remove the nuts on the crankshaft rather than clamping it in a vice.
I think they're all T27, not T25 It's really close... I was using a T25 for while at first too.. Also, I really think you can use a power washer to clean it off at first. Or just a garden hose spray. Maybe take ignition coil off first. Let it all dry off. Maybe not?
Hi how can I find a brand new cylinder kit on the aftermarket place? I have a ts500i with the same exact problem. Can you refere to a homepage or website maybe?

Thanks for your comment, very good to read your nice words.
That was a great tear-down with good explanations, thank you.
Now show us the re-build and how it runs!
Thank you. You find those videos on my channel :-)
Thanks for the strip down tutorial 👍I will just say that after a top end seizure the crank and bearings tend to be ok and do not need replacing! 👍
I really enjoy your videos. You walk us through every step. I have learned a lot from your videos. Thank you
Thanks for your comment

Enjoyed the video and the throttle assembly helped me. Thanks
Thank you
Why do you have to replace the crank

Hey, there is one video of the series where I clean all parts. But I use a environmental friendly degreaser and water.
Really nice video sir, i always wanted to know how this machine worked. you made my day. thank you very much, and i would really like to see you rebuild it.
Thank you! Assembly video is in the making but not so much time atm. Regards

Thank you for your comment. Every comment like yours help others do the work
For your concrete dirt, a heavy degreaser is the best route IMO. Spray it on, let it soak for 10-15 mins then wipe/blow it off.
Before you take off the cylinder either use a cylinder stop for the purpose or put rope in the cylinder through the spark plug hole for the piston to bottom out against to remove the nuts on the crankshaft rather than clamping it in a vice.
Thanks I will definitely do that next time
youtube sucks now but videos like this are why I still check it out! thanks!

Just whatever shop you find on Google. I think dealers sell original parts as well
Show the entire video its good what you do! Were the parts expensive in the petrol cutter teardown??
Thanks, I decided to show it all and you find the videos on my channel. Parts were around 150€ but from China ;-)
Where is the best place to order replacement parts?
I ordered from a German shop. I guess this doesn't help?
Do the main bearings have any play?
The old or new ones?
Brilliant video the best I have seen yet and I have watched all of them so very well done and I’d love to see the full rebuild mate👍
Thank you! Full rebuild time lapse is on my channel
Yes I want to see rebuild.
Safety shoes made me laugh.
It’s 60 in parts I just did it still running 6 months later piston cylinder kit
Subscribed love the content
Do you have a link for the parts of the parts you used?
Most of them were ordered at hsparts.de
Very interesting
Yes show the lot Fritz!
Ehmm what? 😄
Hi where about is your shop ?
In Germany
Hey man appreciate you please do a rebuilt video no need for time laps would be better if you explain with some tips
Thank you, I decided to upload the rebuild videos and a time lapse. To be found on my channel.
I like your flip flops
Not for sale sry 😝
i heard you say T-25, but I think stihl uses T-27 across all power tools
Hmm can't look it up now, maybe you are right.
There is a bagfel under the flywheel

You don't need to do that plus you should have left the cylinder on and use a rope to hold the cylinder
You better presher test the saw after you put it together
Much easier way of removing flywheel than using a vice!!!
Yea I didn't know.
Mess the crsnk shaft
Get a gasket set
Thanks for your comments. Next time I will do better.
For fuck sake man build a flywheel puller
In deutsch wäre es hilfreicher
Ok
Goofy jobs Hajahahahaha not Show run hahahajaja
