I love Jessica!! She has a podcast named Fat Mascara where she and another beauty editor give fabulous beauty advice and interview professionals in various health and beauty fields. So happy she was featured in this episode! 😃
People nowadays are so judgemental. So many people in the comments shaming people who have many steps in their routine. LOL. There’s nothing wrong with a double digit steps or single digit steps. Whether you have 3-4, 6-7 or 10+ steps, you do you and don’t be ashamed of it.
For me watching these GTBWM videos is a way of relaxing after a long day. I’m interested in how other people, esp. celebrities, unwind and deal with stress to prepare for sleep. I’m kinda grateful for the sense of camaraderie, like I’m not alone in dealing with my body’s unruliness and there’s nothing shameful or narcissistic in taking care of yourself. And yet, reading the comment section just makes me feel sadder and sadder. The lady cannot be more beautiful, gentler with her skin, more open about her routine, more giving in sharing her secrets, and people are just nitpicking her for the smallest details. A woman opens up about her skincare routine, and she is met with harsh words, judgements, criticisms left and right, and we wonder why there aren’t more people willing to make these videos. Why aren’t there more people with eczema, rosace, mature skin on these videos? As if they don’t deal with enough insecurities in their life without baring their skin out to the judgemental people in these comment sections. No, these videos are not educational materials. You are not meant to follow these routines or buy exactly these products. But they are not punchbags for you release your anger or toxicity either. There are kind ways to express your disagreements without being condescending and thinking that you’re the expert on someone else’s skin.
Would love to see Sarah Hyland doing her routine cause she is just delightful, beautiful and she has the most adorably youthful look as well as personality! 😍🥰 Would also love to see Elizabeth Olsen, Katie Findlay, Aisha Dee and Lucy Boynton!
I have never seen this woman before but I am amazed at how straight up and honest she is about the skincare products that she uses, I really respect that. I like her! Bravo! Ps. She has really nice brows.
dont embarrass urself...she literally said she got a laser done so shes not allowed to use a retinol. Even so I didn't know there was a rule that retinol has to be used lol. not everyone has to have it in their skin care routine. I use retinol but take breaks from it. not to mention she literally said she sees a derm so im pretty sure u have no right to tell her how to treat her skin. the derm will probs prescribe a retinol to her. she literally said she is figuring it out with her derm. grow up and stop judging others
@@fadleadam what gave you the impression that I was judging her? I'm a big Matlin fan. And for her not to include retinol in her routine, while keeping the best skin for ages, is truly groundbreaking. Love the effort to invalidate people's opinion here. Props to you on that.
Fraxel gives her excellent results. She looks amazing.Instead fancy products Vanicream cleanser, tretinoin mixed with azelaic acid and niacinamide, good inexpensive moisturiser could give great results with little money and extend collagen building fraxel results.
I love this series so much. It is a part of my very own self care routine! So happy to see the beautiful woman behind it & get to know her & some of her favorites😍😍!! Sending nothing but love ♥️✨.
That’s because she is older than 33. When you google her age, the age 33 years old will pop up but it’s in reference to an article she wrote about Rooney Mara in 2018.
HB y'all should be embarrassed that your beauty editor doesn't even properly wash her face!!! How did she even get the job?! All that jewelry on too!! Still have cold cream in her lashes & brow. Don't get me started on eye liner left behind 🙄🙄
You do realize she’s just doing a video & not her actual real time routine. I’m sure she’s a busy lady as a Beauty Editor for an iconic magazine but will probably be devastated by your opinion. Don’t even get me started. 🤣😒😘

Jessica is beautiful! This was a great post-laser routine. I would love to see her come back for another routine.
Yeah it's a natural beauty skin care routine
I have been OBSESSED with the Neutrogena Benzoyl Peroxide foreverrrr. Surprised no ones spoken about it until now! But it’s sooo good

We're so glad you're enjoying our All Day Glow Eye cream! This bedtime routine is goals😍🥰
best 10 minutes of my day. can't wait to try that lolavie detangler
Love her and had invisalign!!😇💗These videos are great!
Please get Avril Lavigne to do one of these!
She's 37 and looks 23. I want to know her secrets!
The secret is genetics 😂
Omg I love Beekman 1802 creams I personally have the Arcadia hand cream with goat milk. It leaves my hands feeling super soft
Beautiful skin! Also love the floss. So important ❤️
Love how honest! Weird about the goat's milk though
you guys have a new Beauty editor like every few months
She’s great! Anyone know how old she is? I love these videos.
how does one become a beauty editor? sounds like my dream job
Beauty editor who doesn't use retinol? Groundbreaking.

I want BTS skincare routine 🙏🙏🙏
Why not use a prescription retinoid to tackle that acne?
Depends on the acne.
Tretinoin/Differin might be too harsh for her? They made my skin worse but a salicylic acid wash worked beautifully without any irritation
idk how closely you were paying attention but she said she got a laser facial - most likely fraxel i think.
YES! FAT MASCARA!
more Kpop and kdrama stars please. they have the best skin
I like your pretty video is very awesome.🤩
What’s her age?
3d
She looks so much like Sofia Carson
How do you even become a beauty director?
u start as an intern at the company and clime ur way up
Nepotism
Pretty disappointing. The hair in the face, earrings, rings on her fingers… she shall have music wherever she goes 😂
Seven steps???? Are you kidding me! Iam 60 years old, 3 steps that’s it!!!
different people have different needs ☺️
lol do you want a gold star 😂 different strokes for different folks.
You do you. She and everyone else will do what works for THEM. 53 & 5 steps. Maybe when I’m 60 I will care less too.
Seven steps isn't all that much, really.
@@kendallstark4302 especially considering that they included flossing and cleaning her invisalign as part of those steps.
I would replace all of these creams and oil for RETINOL, come on people this is the most effective product...this routine is b****hit
Please get Shay Mitchell and Kate Hudson and Beckinsale on here
There is one recent video of Shay Mitchell at Vogue
@@Akshay-08 That was her daytime routine which is different from a nighttime routine

Love listening to her on 'Fat Mascara' podcast! Jess and her co-host always have the best recommendations!
Plsssssss get BTS (yes all of them )
She has the competence and intelligence of Miranda Priestly, however she is affable and approachable 😀

I like her personality tbh.
I love these episodes! It's so relaxing to watch. I can appreciate that Jessica's skin care routine includes 7 steps. That's how you do it. Layering.

Stopped watching as soon as I realised the eye makeup wasn’t coming off
Fat mascara listener here! So happy to see Jess here. Hi Jess!
She looks older then 33
She’s only 33?!😱 I would’ve guessed 43!
So rude. Would you say that to her face? I doubt it.
It's OK to type it and post it from behind your computer, though. Right?
