Amazing job! Me personally I love both live edge and dead. My favorite wood to work with is walnut. I've been scared to try and epoxy because it is so expensive but watching your video, blacktail studios and many more is encouraging. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you. I agree I think the piece dictates the edge. I waited for the epoxy to go on sale and didn’t use all that much for this project. Just take it slow and don’t skimp on the prep work. Also make sure you have plenty of elbow grease on hand

Dead edge. Beautiful work, looks awesome!
Thank you I really appreciate that!
Dead edge for me in most cases, but somethings do better with live edge. Great work. The cleaning and filling of the seams/cracks was very clean.
I agree live edge definitely has its place, but it’s gotta be the right piece. Thank you I appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed it
Got some great ideas on this video. Thanks
Glad you found it helpful!
Cam would be proud!
Thank you! I would hope so
Dead edge. Nicely done! I know everyone is crazy about live edges, but I just prefer clean lines.
Thank you! I think they have a place in builds, but it needs to be something special IMO
Straight edge looks amazing.
Thank you!
Nice work.
Thank you
1/2 live 1/2 dead edge. Great looking table! What did you end up with as a final thickness?
Thank you! The table ended up right at 2” thick
