Oooo I cringed when I watched that router bit slip , that happened to me too while I was trimming out a small window in a close board fence. ( don't ask my why I was cutting a 'window' in a fence,;...but it did have something to do with a friend's cat wanting to see out through. OMG hahaha! )

@@NorthwestSawyer Yeah, a cat window on the world around 'his' neighborhood. He's an indoor cat and his owner, a friend of mine, let's him out on their fenced in rear deck, and I joked one day that, poor old pussy cat should have a way to see what's out there. Then I volunteered to cut a hole in the fence and put in a plexiglass window. I cut the window
with my plunge router. The bit slipped loose and because of that odd slanted cut, I had to make the window larger.

IMHO, you first apply glue to the entire mating surfaces. then you put glue in the holes and insert the dominoes, followed by clamping. Supposedly, "loose dominoes" are stronger than precoisely fitting ones. There is a setting for wider holes for loose dominoes. Beautiful table.

3/4" angle, or flat bar welded to the inside of the legs with it centered, and a blind relief cut in the table top as not to see it from the under side, but I'd be a little scared to screw up a piece like that making the cut in the end grain! Lol

Thank you, Mark! That’s a “truck bed coating” in a spray can I get from Home Depot. I’ve used it a lot and always get great results.

Gorgeous how did you fix the bit slip damage?

Thank you! I routered everything to the same depth and used the threaded bushings as spacers when I drilled the recessed pocket for them. That kept the top of the legs flush with the top of the table and made the legs look like they were floating and not really attached. It worked out pretty slick.

That is awesome! Just curious, what’s a round figure price on something like that?

Thank you! I’m getting $2,225 for this one. I paid $700 for the slabs.

Don't lose that ladies number where you got that wood from. Unbelievable table. I'd love to see the face of whoever gets it when they see it for the first time
