Big milestone in the race / supercar garage remodel

- My oh my, after nearly 8 months of getting my PHD in insulation whilst vetting contractor after contractor, I finally got the job done - spray foam insulation in the garage!
I got 4 inches of closed cell foam on the ceiling slopes, and 2 inches on the gable walls up top. Since I'm working within a budget, I decided to forgo spray foam on the rest of the walls, and instead will fiberglass batt them myself.
I had them use black fire retardant paint on the spray foam, since I don't plan to drywall on the ceiling.
I'm so relieved that this step is complete. I put so much time and energy into learning about insulation, and must've had at least 6 different contractors come out for bids over the past year. I'm just happy to have this part behind me.
Still lots of work to do though! Finish insulation on the walls, finish electrical, put up drywall, and install minisplit for heating and cooling. And that's before any of the storage and finishing touches.
But hey, at least the cars are here!

Gabe, glad you got the insulation in. Don't ever feel bad about parking the Ferrari outside. I had to do the same thing when I was making a repair in my garage and the cars were outside for a week or so. As long as you just keep it covered from the sun.
