The grips did great reducing the vibration to the hands and improved the comfort level a lot. After a 1 hour ride at high rpms on hardtop and some light off road my hands were completely comfy afterwards. They felt like old school Earth Cruiser foamy bicycle grips but on steroids. Want to thank Motorcycle Adventuring with Migolito for sharing this product 👍
Just a follow up comfort comment. Now that I've ridden even longer with these installed I'm thinking folks with a size small hand might not like them due to the added circumference. I wear a medium glove and if the grips were any bigger I'd probably not be keen on them. But as it stands I'm right on the spot and the vibration to hand reduction is well worth having them for me. I can see others not feeling the same. Folks with large hands probably will be just fine with them. Like I mentioned earlier, they do take some getting use to feeling. Another comparison feeling wise would be a pvc pipe with that rubber like insulation on it. Just trying to give you guys something to compare it to pre-purchase.
Just use a few drops of straight Dawn soap directly in your grips a little bit on the grip, they will slip right on no muscle needed. Done deal, good day
I used 9 zip ties, 14.5 inches long when I installed these this morning on my BMW R1250RS. Installed them dry and spaced the ties equally around the grip. I found that every half inch or so, stop and help the open end over the lip of your grip with your pinkie all the way around (don't risk damage with any metal tool). Patience and persistence...finished the whole job pretty quickly. Thanks for this tip!!
@@brandoncomer6492 I know same here...non mechanical dumbasses I guess. Geeze just follow the instructions. I mean who knows more about a product than the people that make them...DUH
Thanks Phillip 🙂! I know, this was probably as painful to watch as it was for me to do 🥵🤲. My tendinitis was like wtf!?! Anyways, I went on to do the exact same install technique with the Puppies on my CB500X and XT250. Worked both times there as well. I know there's easier ways but... 🤤👍
That looks like waaaaaaayyy too much work. It literally took me like 10 seconds to put each one on my cb500x just by spraying some water on the handle and then rubbing some dawn dishsoap on the handle and inside the grip.
It was way too much work. But I I wanted to give it a try fir the hell of it. My lefthand Grip Puppie on my CB500X is getting a bit stiff from age. I'll give your tip a go soon I think. Thanks for sharing 👍

Well done, nice technique!
Thanks. I've now actually done this on 4 separate bikes and it's worked each time 👍.

Thanks Mike 🙂! I've heard lots of folks do that technique moreso than this way. Zip tie method was pretty strenuous.
Just about to do this job on my CBF, thanks for the great tip! 👍
Your very welcome Germoto 🙂! Let me know how it goes. Elbow grease and patience will get it done.

Thanks Mitch 🙂! Definitely burns some calories doing so right? 🤚😅
@@findingneutral Nah. Was a lot easier with the zip ties than struggling without then though!
Do people really have that much trouble? Mine slid on in like 3 seconds with just some water and dishsoap

Thanks for the good belly laughs. It worked!

@@findingneutral I have them on my 06 FLTRI too.
@@phillipperritt7787 Nice. They definately help in my humble opinion. Your bike is a beast. Had to look that up.

Kindly share with us your ride/use impressions. Great tutorial. Thanks.
Also your impressions in rain or wet use rides
@@NitwitMN I normally don't ride in wet stuff, but if I do I will definately share how it goes.
Why not use air pressure. Its the easiest way to remove or replace grips!
I don't have one. Plus I wanted to test out the zip tie theory.
Painfull
Not something I plan on doing with frequency for sure.
