AWESOME!!!! Thank you! This worked GREAT. I followed OTHER RUclips videos to install my LAST SET of grips and the SPRAY killed my heated hand grips! I have a Gold Wing and Honda fixed my grips under warranty so I paid the shop to install the Plush Puppies as I never got them installed using the SOAP-METHOD. I had some success with the compressed-air-method. Zip-ties made the job so easy and so rewarding. I DID USE SOME SOAPY WATER on the grips, though; just a bit to make them slippery; none on the grip puppies.
Everybody does it backwards. Turn the zip ties around and leave the large end over the handlebar end, then they are a lot easier to pull out because it's a much straighter line. Two other great ways are using an air compressor to get them on (search for the video on RUclips, it's much faster than zip ties) and another guy used a plastic tube (cutting board mat from The Dollar Tree) and rolled it up into a tube and put it inside the grip puppy, then slid it over the grip and removed the plastic tube. Much faster than zip ties, but the same basic principle because you are sliding it on the grip over a plastic insert (which is what the zip ties are.)
Bro, stop Run a sandwich bag thru the grips, cut off the end of the bag Slide the bag with the grips over the old grips, slides right on Remove sandwich bag
Oh man! Your a week late coming up on my feed. I put mine on last week and struggled trying different ways. Ended up just using soapy water but that still wasnt easy.

You’re a genius !
@@ginoasci can’t take the credit for this but I’ll take the compliment. Glad it helped. 👍
You are a genius my friend.
@@papi4baby thanks but no genius.
Just bought a set, your video was the first to show up. I have a 12 GTL, thank you for making this video. Works great🔥✌️👍💥
@@mikeedelman2827 glad it helps
I just used your method to install those on my Harley. Thanks a lot. It was really easy !!!
Glad it helped 👍
Great idea. I just used hand sanitizer on the handlebar grip and the inside of the grip puppies. Your idea is much better without the mess.
Thanks
You are a genius! Got a set to put on tomorrow! Will be using zip ties this time.
😂 no not at all but thanks
Great idea
Can’t say I came up with that but it works fantastically.
That video helped me 1000 percent on getting my grip puppies on my k1600b
Glad it was helpful 👍

Gotta say, the zip tie method is genius. Took me less than a minute per side.
@@watsonf3b cool! 👍

@@davidz8 😂 not me. Just passing along what I learned.
@@TechnMoto And modest 😀
Interesting name Grip Puppies. The old zip tie, what would we do without them. Great job Mate 😎
Definitely a must have item, thanks
Toller Tipp, heute ausprobiert und hat super funktioniert 😊

Soapy water does the same thing and after water evaporates they stick like glued.
👍
Little bit of soapy water is the easiest, cheapest, and best way.

Bro, stop
Run a sandwich bag thru the grips, cut off the end of the bag
Slide the bag with the grips over the old grips, slides right on
Remove sandwich bag
Good idea. I’ll have to try it sometime.
@@TechnMoto Trust me, I tried almost 5 different RUclips hacks and this one was the fastest and cleanest

Oh I know. Been there.
Bit of dishwashing liquid it's 30 seconds done
