Some of the best acting I’ve ever seen. That primal scream he does is realistic. You can tell just how much Matt wants to end risk right there once and for all.
And the mirroring of fisk and bullseye primal scream setup to show all of their similarities but the purposes behind the screams is also what shows you the fundamental differences between them as well. They’re screaming their monsters and sin out, Matt’s screaming to keep his in. Taming the beast for justice and not revenge or some twisted evil. It’s amazing writing.

This whole scene also is the first time Matt + Wilson meet face-to-face, so it has that much more weight too. I was in tears during this just because of how strong it was given the entire season buildup. Daredevil S1 was the 'safe' season for anyone to see, S2 was a celebration of the DD comics, Defenders was the 1st payoff to things we've seen, and S3 was the rest of it - but an added heft of personal challenges that hook you beginning to end. So good dude

This is my favourite fight in the entire series, for the past 3 seasons we watched Daredevil and Kingpin wanting to end the other, and watching them two brawl it out properly is so fantastic and such a fantastic finale
The pain, the anguish, the blood freezing primal scream of a worn-out individual, who gathers all his strength not to be a murderer. The other is a sophisticated gentle beast, who is committed to wipe out any element that might harm the things he loves the most until his last breath. Charlie Cox and Vincent D'onofrio, my good sirs, you're both are the best choices for your characters and I bow down for you craft during this scene and the entire third season.
I thought the acting of both of them was phenomenal here, especially Charlie. That scream is just full of pain, anguish and despair. What I especially love about this scene (and Daredevil) is that he's like split second from actually murdering Fisk, but he shows enough self-restraint not to. He wants Fisk dead, but doesn't want to destroy himself in the process. This is even more powerful if you think that entire season 3 Matt\Daredevil is the actual main villain if you think about him, he spends entire season fighting himself and him embracing his more darker nature and urges. This is also one of the very reasons why Bullseye dresses up as (red) Daredevil and Matt has to fight him in his old suit and is getting his ass whooped by "Daredevil". Compared to let's say typical Marvel hero (looking at you Captain America) who does good things because they are good things to do.
It's been almost 3 years since I watched this for the first time. Have seen countless time after that. One of the most powerful and moving scene in the whole cinematic world.

I really, really don't like the whole "I won't kill" thing in most media. It is usually makes the character look like a hypocrite and put the blood of many i his hands by not putting an end to a character beyond redemption. Daredevil vs Fisk however, GOD DAMN, it gets hardstuck on morals and there is an ultimatum of mutual assured destruction that gets to the villain to stop. "You don't get to destroy who I am, BUT IF YOU DO, I'll take everything you love away from you like you did from me" is such a great concept that I can't see Batman or Spider-man pulling off.
Agreed; the writing in Season 3 and this scene are supernatural in quality. “Rage cannot stay inside you, it needs to go somewhere.” Matt’s subconscious wouldn’t let him kill Fisk, so the rage boiled so much Matt screamed in agony. And Matt had to do something to let it out, fast. When Matt realized Fisk wanted Matt to kill him, Matt got his answer, a way to release his anger without killing Fisk: screaming bloody murder.
@enkiimuto1041 Spiderman always sees the good in people hence he doesn't cross that line as he wasn't always someone helping people so he believes in change. I believe Batman doesn't kill as it's more to do with Bruce's mental health, he's insane and he knows if he crosses that line even with The Joker he'd never stop as it's easy to kill criminals.
God fucking damn this season was intense! Way fucking better than some visual effects driven “story” bullshit the marvel Disney plus shows tried to do!
Yeah I hope so too!, I like the hallway fights, maybe the best for me it´s this, here we can see the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, tell me what you think, btw thanks for your comments! ruclips.net/video/gK0Iygea96s/видео.html
Season 3 takes place in 2017 well born again is gonna take place in 2026 meaning in been a total of nine years since this scene when born again happens with five of those years taking place during a time period where half of all life was gone.
@anonim4102 actually it's kind of complicated, we have to considered the blip, and perhaps the serie take please in 2026 or 2027, if you see in the trailer there's several masks of daredevil, so maybe it takes some years of story of our beloved devil of Hells Kitchen, we have to wait till March to find out
At this point in Echo Matt already knows that Fisk won’t stay in prison. It’s also obvious that Matt is not going to kill him, even if he tried to. Maya already shot him in ther face at a very close range. My question is why does he continue to go after Fisk? Fisk knows that Matt is Daredevil and neither of them were snapped away. Did Daredevil give up going after Fisk directly? He obviously held back in his fight with Maya because he knows Fisk has a close relationship with her and it’s obvious that Vanessa is either dead or out of the country. After watching season 3. Why is Matt so obsessed with Wilson Fisk? There are other villains in Marvel that are far worse than Wilson Fisk especially street level. Wilson Fisk never exposed Daredevil’s identity.
I think that scene took place before season 3, its just an assumption, lets wait when it take place, remember that in Disney+ they show the yellow suit in She Hulk, so for me this take place after/during season 2 because Matt doesnt want to be Daredevil after Electra's death in the Defenders, I hope this help you, thanks for see my Channel, there's a lot of videos of Daredevil, Batman, Spiderman I hope you like it
We really need Marvel to stop killing their villains cause if there wasn’t such a history between these two throughout the 3 seasons this wouldn’t have hit as hard, their relationship wouldn’t be as impactful. I hope dr doom gets to iron man levels of protagonism
Thank's for your comment! I think different, it's like let the devil out, when Daredevil acts with rage nobody could takedown, in this scene we saw a Daredevil that just want to end him, let me know what you think, you can see more videos like this on my channel
Nah, I think that this is the moment when he realizes, that even if he wins this fight, and kills Matt, he would still go to prison with also a murder charge, so if he really is going to end up loosing Vanessa, no matter what, he is going to take his greatest enemy's soul with him. That's why he ask for Matt to kill him.
Man these two actors in these roles is perfection. What's with the baby shit cotton candy Marvel's doing with it now? It's rhetorical I don't actually need an answer. Needless to say, I am displeased with the rebooted characters here.
I am praying 🙏 they bring back Elektra for the new show because how they left her character in defenders was awful and unexplainable. That needs to be rectified!!

@ yeah! I'll do it too, btw thanks for see my content, you can see plenty of videos of daredevil and more
God the music and acting in this scene is so good
I love each encounter, like in the S2 when Kingpin threats Matt without hesitation you can see the video here, I hope you like my videos there's much more content like this ruclips.net/video/_I48xZuzw54/видео.htmlsi=KD1a-6aju7ESzRbG
Crazy that they didn't put the music from this scene in the official soundtrack.
The background music itself deserves an huge round of applause !!
I pray the new show has this writing and acting again I pray
Damn dude that was deep he Fisk couldn’t say a word !
Yeah it's Damm good! Remember season 2, in this scene was the opposite Matt couldn't do anything, I let the scene in here, btw thanks for your comment! ruclips.net/video/_I48xZuzw54/видео.htmlsi=AfNZOIZKaXGb3tUT
Chariles acting in this scene always gives me goosebumps
🐐
Is that a lamb? Some type of goat?
@@JulzGein_ it’s a goat smh 😭😭😭😭
Possibly the best-- certainly my favourite in all of marvel cinematic universe. Better than anything related to Thanos or even Tony Stark tbh. I almost never rewatch those. But I regularly come back here.
7 years later…. We have returned
I doubt D+ would ever be able to write something like this.
I hope they took some of the best stories, maybe with kingpin as mayor they can do a pursuit of Daredevil like in Captain América Civil War, or the story of cáncer of Foggy, theres something good stories that they can print in the big screen, btw thanks for see my channel, theres plenty of videos of daredevil, spiderman, batman and more
I really, really don't like the whole "I won't kill" thing in most media.
Once Tony Stark died and Matt beat Kingpin, MCU has never been the same
@adam-11herbs hopefully we'll see a return to how it was when DD 4 comes out.
God fucking damn this season was intense! Way fucking better than some visual effects driven “story” bullshit the marvel Disney plus shows tried to do!
bu sahne eşsiz bir sahne kendine has bir gücü var
I always come back to this!!! Fucking incredible show ❤❤
This city REJECTED YOU, it BEAT you…

Kingpin: Kill me!
(Awkward Pause)
Daredevil: ......(Voiceover Line): No!
And then Kingpin runs for mayor.
and then he comes back for the hawkeye show......
Sublime 🚬
Bro, we better get a scene like this in the upcoming TV-MA labeled Marvel Studios' “Echo” (2023) series!
Yeah I hope so too!, I like the hallway fights, maybe the best for me it´s this, here we can see the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, tell me what you think, btw thanks for your comments! ruclips.net/video/gK0Iygea96s/видео.html
The trailer dropped!
Yeah it looks great! specially Kingpin, it looks with a serious tone@@t_tmad5293
This Daredevil costume suits the brutality of the series far better than the supersuit does.
This city rejected you
I beat you❤
The best marvel realisation
I love Daredevil cause he remind me Batman. The only humans with darkness
Damn, I would buy that painting.
This >> all MCU
Well actually this is part of the mcu 🤓
dast ist daredevil goddammit
In universe how much time passed between end of season 3 and Born Again?
Season 3 takes place in 2017 well born again is gonna take place in 2026 meaning in been a total of nine years since this scene when born again happens with five of those years taking place during a time period where half of all life was gone.
@anonim4102 actually it's kind of complicated, we have to considered the blip, and perhaps the serie take please in 2026 or 2027, if you see in the trailer there's several masks of daredevil, so maybe it takes some years of story of our beloved devil of Hells Kitchen, we have to wait till March to find out
I kinda wish Matt didn’t stop 0:44
I think that scene took place before season 3, its just an assumption, lets wait when it take place, remember that in Disney+ they show the yellow suit in She Hulk, so for me this take place after/during season 2 because Matt doesnt want to be Daredevil after Electra's death in the Defenders, I hope this help you, thanks for see my Channel, there's a lot of videos of Daredevil, Batman, Spiderman I hope you like it
@@GameOn0493 no Fisk was in prison after season one
We really need Marvel to stop killing their villains cause if there wasn’t such a history between these two throughout the 3 seasons this wouldn’t have hit as hard, their relationship wouldn’t be as impactful. I hope dr doom gets to iron man levels of protagonism
Even if they try they can't bring a good series or better series than this period.
Honestly him being a conservative kind of work out for us, the right would probably divide over this
Kingpin might have win had Vanessa not distracted him
Thank's for your comment!
I beat you >>> Yo gané carajo
Man these two actors in these roles is perfection. What's with the baby shit cotton candy Marvel's doing with it now? It's rhetorical I don't actually need an answer. Needless to say, I am displeased with the rebooted characters here.
Cant wait for disney to destroy this show
Let's pray not
I'm convinced Charlie won't let that happen, but my expectations are low
I mean, Hawkeye ruined my perception of Kingpin and She-Hulk ruined my perception of Matt/Daredevil. Can Disney actually do better? I don't know.
I am praying 🙏 they bring back Elektra for the new show because how they left her character in defenders was awful and unexplainable. That needs to be rectified!!
@@thirdworldrenegadethey may redeem wilson fisk in the new Echo show
Anybody here after Echo? Marvel said this is canon but where's Vanessa???
I already saw it, there's some comments that Vanessa will be recast, or like in the season 3 of Daredevil Fisk and Vanessa were separated, Vanessa it's been hiding or something, but let's see what happen in the next serie of Daredevil
IIIIIIIIIIIIIII BEAT YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
promote violence by bigbabygucci
Vanessa messed this scene up, by standing and positioning her self to get saved, instead of just leaving when they were busy fighting.
She is sticking around because she's worried about Fisk. She's standing around because there's nothing she can do about it
I wanted her to be killed by Bullseye so we could finally see Fisk lose something
@@RatchetandSly You must be one of 2 people. A dude who has never been in fight while his girlfriend was next to him trying to jump in or stop it. Having to defend yourself and worry about her and your opponent. Or a female who yells stop, holding and getting in the way of mutual combat between men.
@@vehiclecollect7625 Oh, we're doing sweeping generalizations based on little to no evidence? Ok. I notice that you refer to men as "men", but women as "females". You also honor violence between men, but point out "females getting in the way", so you must be one of one person: dude with mommy issues.
See how stupid this is? Lmao
@@vehiclecollect7625 You must be just a run of the mill sexist who blames everything on women.
Fisk was beaten fair and square by Matt, even after Fisk tried every underhanded method possible to destroy him, he was completely and utterly beaten.
And another thing, do you think Matt has memory loss or something? I can promise you he would remember Vanessa even if she didn't stand right next to him, infact, he threatened to put her in jail before in the very same season.
Lastly, Vanessa was both a weakness and a strength to Fisk, everything he did, all he accomplished, all the power he accumulated, he did so that he could be with her, and not because she manipulated him, but because he actively chose to as proven by the fact that she tried to reject him 2 times before they got together.
Does anyone know what score plays during this scene?
I've been trying to look for it for a long time and...nowhere to be found. I'll try to download the episode and extract the music from it heh.

This music is amazing for an incredible scene
Daredevil (Netflix) >> Peacermaker (DCU BY JAMES GUNN)
Ok
And then they ruin this character in lame show like She Hulk, To be honest they should've kept this show seperate
Come on he was fine in she hulk
This shit corny as hell
I like that kingpin could have totally won this fight against him, but he didnt because like daredevil something else motivated him not to. He wont kill because vanessa doesnt let him, daredevil wont kill because his morals wont let him. Its such a preciois scene that encapsulates the whole "we are not so different" aspect of any movie rivarly that I love
I never realized this
