- Nothing like homemade, right? Exactly! And because of that, I'm sharing with you guys my old-time recipe for a delicious homemade instant cappuccino mix you can make in no time, just perfect for your reusable coffee capsules!

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of powdered plant-based milk
1/4 cup of instant coffee
2 tablespoons of vegan instant chocolate powder or cocoa powder
1/5 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1/3 teaspoon of baking soda
METHOD:
Add all the ingredients to a jar, except the instant coffee, to which you are going to pass it to a fine mesh strainer so it becomes a fine powder.
SUGGESTION FOR MAKING ONE CUP OF CAPPUCCINO:
Add approx. 3 to 4 teaspoons of the instant cappuccino mix to a cup, add boiling plant-based milk or water (or half milk/half water) and enjoy it!

Oh how this brought back such a special memory of my mother. We used to make this and added a plate with a few cookies and would sit at the kitchen table playing gin rummy while talking about our lives. Oh how I miss her. 😯

I wonder which powder coconut milk you used, I had one which was not to good.
I'd love you to.do a show on best things to keep on vegan.panyry, especially now in quarantines. I have dehydrated veggies which are good for many things. no tofu anywhere to be found now..but I have nuts and flours. thank you and please keep bringing us the wonderful cooking and recipes.

hi Jana, what brand coconut powder is the best to use?

Many thanks for this recipe - I love it. I just made myself a cup. I left out the powdered milk but add a half teaspoon Virgin coconut oil. Sometimes to really make it satisfying I add a pinch of cardamon. 😀
I think there's a lot of vegan powdered creamer/milk on Amazon
I just bought some coconut flour, which is pure coconut. Can I use it as milk powder?
Probably not... but you do a test, make a small cup of coffee and add it to your coffee, then let me know... ;)
