    ⭕ RECIPES:
    Grilled Corn w Chipotle Lime Mayo
    Air fry husked, clean corn at 400˚F/200˚C for 8-10 minutes.
    Slather with Primal Kitchen Chipotle Lime Avocado Mayonnaise (this is a bit spicy), roll in feta or cotija cheese, sprinkle with lime zest and cilantro. Serve immediately.
    Herbed Sweet & Spicy Salmon (this is NOT spicy)
    Top salmon with a mist of avocado oil, salt and pepper, then coat with the sriracha/apricot preserve mixture (about 1 tsp to every tablespoon of apricot preserves - I used Thrive Apricot Preserves which is a nice clean and healthier jam with no preservatives).
    Then add fresh chopped parsley over the preserves. Air Fry at 380˚F for 8-12 min or until internal temp of salmon reaches between 124-145˚F.
    Grilled Peaches with Yogurt and Granola
    Spray Thrive Market Coconut Oil Spray over peach halves and air fry at 370˚F for 5 min then flip so flesh side is up and air fry at 400˚F for 2-3 more minutes. Top with yogurt mixture (add 1tsp vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp cinnamon to 1 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt)
    Then sprinkle on some Thrive Market Organic Grain-Free Granola (we went with cinnamon vanilla flavor). And drizzle on honey (we went with Mike's Hot Honey - which really isn't spicy).

    I was intrigued by your apricot jam and salmon video as I had not heard of that combination before. I made it today and WOW it was so good, in your video you used parsley but mentioned it could be done with mint, that is what I used and it was delicious. Thanks for the inspiration. 🙏🏻

    I’ve read that spraying oil in the air fryer messes with the non-stick coating. I’ve only used it a couple times,and there is some noticeable wear on the bottom plate.

    • @empoweredcooks
      @empoweredcooks  17 дней назад

      @imoo1896 that is a great point -- you need a propellent-free oil spray. The Thrive Market spray uses air compression instead of added propellent.

    The benefit of the primal kitchen products is not no butter, it's that they use good oils, like avocado and olive, and not the highly processed and inflammatory oils, seed oils like canola sunflower etc. that are high in inflammation and the extraction process makes them even worse. 😮

    mmmk... So I have watched you for years. Ummm... Not feeling the Thrive Market push here. I have watched many videos where people mention and give a small talk about the sponsor. However, this was neatly embedded into the whole video. This video was very specific to Thrive Market brands (which again, you usually do not do). Your cookbook is even basic and not brand driven. What kind of irks me is it is played out in this video (quietly implied) that we need Thrive Market to make these recipes, versus local grocery store basics. So see, now I am going to wonder if your videos going forward will be driven by your sponsor. With so many cooking/air fryer videos online I think people may question watching if your videos border on infomercial. Just food for thought. Not being mean, just saying my peace on the matter. Nothing against Thrive Market btw.

    • @empoweredcooks
      @empoweredcooks  17 дней назад +5

      @marklutker9720 You do not need to buy Thrive Market items to make these recipes; the ingredients can be found at local grocery stores or substituted with other brands. Personally, I enjoy the convenience of getting what I need/want from Thrive Market, delivered to my house.
      I do appreciate your candid feedback. I occasionally feature sponsors that I genuinely support and believe bring real value. I only partner with brands that align with my values and i never sacrifice the quality of my recipes. Creating quality content does come with costs, and sponsorships help cover those expenses. Thank you for understanding and for your continued support. I appreciate you.

      @@empoweredcooks I love your channel because you keep it basic. I understand Thrive works for you, and appreciate that (maybe do a video on how to plan meals and ordering with Thrive - most of us don't plan very well for a box of meals). But maybe when you do such video's you note what substitutes you could use (IE apricot spread). You do that a LOT in many of your other videos. That was left out in this one...Again, I love your channel but maybe steer clear of being "infomercialish". I have given away many of your cookbooks so I DO appreciate you!! To add.. I think there is a thin line between sponsorship and recipes... when you get to a point where the recipes only list references to a specific brand, your recipes change (I'm not saying you are at this point). Sandra Lee did this, many of her cookbooks changed to listing brands. Anyway... just ideas/thoughts.
