    Those all look very tasty. Thank you. A handy hint for buying dishes to fit the air fryer- make a greaseproof paper template of the inside of your machine and keep it folded in your bag. Then you can use it to check if a muffin tin, ready meal or joint of meat will fit.

    Lovely I have to watch it all again and write temperatures down. Had a Cosori and gave away as I bought the 2 drawer ninja with probe which is good but a prefer Cosori , may have to have that one too. Not used my big oven for a year now , but do have Sage smart oven air too.
    More recipes please . This video made me remember the chicken in Cosori is better than ninja

    For the final potato recipe, you can buy mashed potato pellets in many supermarkets, to skip the whole peel/boil/mash cycle. And no lumps! Simples...

    Great video! Surprised to see you using so much oil though as I thought the point of air fryers was to cut down on oil?

    • @KerryWhelpdale
      @KerryWhelpdale  7 месяцев назад

      I use about 1/3 of the oil when cooking with the air fryer than I do if I were to make these in the oven.. so the air fryer is much better for you :) the spray oil is also only 1 cal per spray 🙌🙌

    Enjoyed watching your video Kerry everything looked delicious. I've not got an air fryer as yet, suppose waiting to see if they will stand the test of time or end up dusty at the back of peoples cupboards haha.

      @@KerryWhelpdaleagree. Use mine 4-5 times a week and I've only had it couple years cooking just for myself. Love finding new things it can do.

    I usually air-fry a chicken breast-downwards for 35 minutes, then flip it breast-up for a further 35 minutes. But I'll try your "unflipped" method next time, Kerry. After 70 minutes at 180°C, and a rest of 10 mins., I can easily just pull the breast, etc., away from the carcass, _before_ picking up a knife. For most recipes, this is easier than carving the meat while on the bone.

    if you cut the skin side in 1/4 inch and massage salt into them, you get a much more delicious and crunchy skin :) And then you will not need oil on the skin side, it is also much easier to cut in slices

    The "chips" aren't chips at all. They're croquettes with no breadcrumbs 😉 I agree they seem faffy. Loving all the other recipes. X

      This was a great selection of recipes Kerry
      I certainly will give some of them ago.
      Isn’t chicken just the best in the air fryer,it just always stay’s moist,so much better than in a normal oven.
      We eats loads of salmon too,I must admit though I’m a bit nervous about Mayo and cheese🤔😊

    I cook bread and buns all the time in my airfryer and dont find it comes out scone like. I just use a normal recipe-- plain flour, yeast, salt, sugar, oil made and proofed as usual then baked. Adding a small amount of sugar to the dough isnt a problem with the crumb when cooked.
    I wouldnt use either self raising flour or baking powder. That will change the texture of the crumb. Just stick to a normal bread recipe.

    • @KerryWhelpdale
      @KerryWhelpdale  7 месяцев назад

      Yes I agree.. normal bread recipes are the best.. I was just trying this viral one on this video.. the ‘bread/scone’ did taste amazing though! Hehe xxx
