How come on my camera when I look at the movie record time, it's about half of what I see on the screen here? For example, FHD 23.98P Total rec time is 01:41:29 but on the screen here, yours says 08:39:52.
Hi Paula, I bought a new Canon EOS r8, while taking a video I would like to display my camera screen on my computer like a monitor so what cable should I use or is there another way to do that without wireless. I mean without the cable is a better option for me:) Thanks a lot
Hello! In my experience, anytime I was on the menu, the LCD screen on the camera was totally black, but it turns back on when it's on camera mode like you're about to take a photo or video.
Very new to shooting log. If you set your base ISO at 800, and you want a wide open f-stop…you simply use a ND filter to expose correctly when shooting outdoors? 800 is very high for outside…where I normally leave it at the minimum. What do you do to expose properly and still shoot wide open? Thx
Thank you for the tip! Honestly I use 800 base ISO and i agree I also struggle with outdoor shots with a lot of light. Your best bet will definitely be investing in an ND filter if you don’t wanna stop down.
@@PaulaMads yeah I do own a few ND’s which are essential for shooting outside. I was checking if my idea made sense for shooting log. Thanks for the video and keep up the great work! ☺️
@@fiorefleming5348 I got the solution now! On your settings (the wrench icon) select page 2 and for Video Setting set as NTSC or PAL. One of those options will give you the 60 (59.94p). Hope that helps 👍
The battery life is about hour nonstop. Some people say it has 45 mins battery life, depending on conditions like warm weather if it runs a bit hotter quicker

@@bhmstudio4395 hi there, sorry I missed this question. I would suggest at least 2 battery packs minimum or bring a power bank and you can charge it with USB-C
@@PaulaMads Excuse me for asking more questions But someone warned me about the high temperature. I only use FHD photography. Will the camera temperature increase in this format (FHD)?
Hello, I believe if you are in photo mode instead of video, you only get 6 Rec sizes. Make sure you are in video mode and you should have all 12. Hope this works!
Beginner friendly?? You should not advertise it as beginner-friendly if you are going to move so quickly through the settings. You didn't even explain that we should be on Fv on the main dial before you started?? Also.. instead of just running through so quickly.. maybe explain WHY we would want the ISO settings at 800 and show us where that setting is. This should be labeled intermediate. :/

When I export my log video from my flash drive to my desktop it comes out very laggy is there something I likely am doing wrong?
