      While content is great. Really starting to get worse with the ads 7 is slightly taking the piss. I mean I watch some to give him the revenue great content but really getting hard to watch with so many ads.

    What an incredible video, thank you Noel. This has to be one of your best. I am very familiar with MAF, having worked with them in Ghana, Burkino Faso and Indonesia. They do amazing work and facilitate a number of very worthy and important charities in the developing world. Thank you for raising awareness of them.

    Amazing to hear Sam’s Northern Irish accent, in Kenya. Especially for me as I’m from Northern Ireland myself. Sounded like I was flying from my local airfield. Really Interesting Report - Definitely learned a lot from about MAF. ✈️

      You can watch videos on PNG Bush Pilot's if you search Mission Aviation Fellowship South Africa, they out up a video on PNG recently (September I think). They are the organisation appearing in this video.

    I've flown with MAF a lot in east Africa. Awesome people. Both C206 and C208s all over. And yes, I've had my share of spotting to help out, including dodging one near midair over Wilson. Fun times. :)

    Done a Flying Safari with Safarilink in Kenya, magnificent views when the weather is right........some bouncy landings also had to clear some wildlife before we could take off....even stayed at Governers Camp(now that is posh for a Nottinghamshire lad like me)..... great days.....

    So good o MAF in action and to actually see Locichocio where we sen a container of aid so many years ago. The huge refugee camps never cease to affect me. So easy to forget how many refugees there are.

      @@exiletsj2570 It is because Northern Kenya is the remotest place in the country with marginalized communities. It so remote that local pastoralist herders own have guns there and often engage in cattle rustling that can turn deadly hence the insecurity that discourages most Kenyans from visiting those places.

    Now that`s a pilot form Northern Ireland, great that he has not lost his accent, doing some fantastic work sir.
    You will often see cows on the tarmac at British airports too, most of them fresh back from Benidorm.

      Dont use the word tarmac, if you're into aviation use apron or stand

      @@julianthomson541 Sir, I bow to your superior knowledge, is the apron not the ramp? Is a stand not a gate? These cows are dangerous creatures, they wander
      about willy nilly, often intoxicated and pose a real danger, especially to single males. They often leave clues on the tarmac, sorry, apron or stand (My Bad)
      These can include, broken fake nails of various colours, false eye lashes and empty bottles of cheap duty free Gin.

      @@amc3 the ramp is where an aircraft is parked and the apron is in essence what flight attendants usually call the tarmac so where you would walk across after getting out if an aircraft. No problem for the mistake I just get triggered by the word sometimes

    You are right. Most Kenyans have never been to the upper part of the country because that place is so remote. The majority of people live in southern part of the country because urban areas and cities developed along the old railway line from Mombasa to Kisumu and Kampala through Nairobi. To make it worse, the Northern part of the country is the driest and with poor infrastructure. But I think that all this is about to change because of the ongoing road constructions in this remote part of Kenya.

    Was that Lake Naivasha at 21:30? I visited there last year and it was incredible. Riding around in a small boat with a two-stroke engine dodging hippos. What an experience.

    I had the opportunity to work alongside MAF flight operations in Port Au Prince Haiti for two weeks after the 2010 Earthquake. Its was a great experience. I also used their flights to ferry from boarding school to our house in Guatemala as a Missionary Kid. Thanks for sharing.

    I flew all over Uganda with MAF in 1999 doing Y2K work for the Danish Embassy. LIke you flying into really remote airstrips - almost all were gravel, and in the centre of towns. We carried a generator with us due to potential power cuts at the destination.
    Do the MAF pilots still perform a prayer before take-off? Was a bit worrying the first time I heard it. Great organisation though.

    So you flew on the flight deck of a regional airliner? Cool! I was on the flight deck for the landing of a 747-300 in Perth for Qantas in 1994. That was back when those things were still possible, before 9/11! My dad kept asking them for me, and the third time they said yes!

    The Caravan Aircraft are used extensively in Alaska. I flew into Entebbe, Uganda from Juba, Sudan in 1972.
    That Refugee Camp was staggering. Enormous number of refugees. How can Africa ever take care of itself?
