There's no appearance of Isaac himself in the game, but Enter the Gungeon does include his gun as an obtainable weapon (called the Mine Cutter in-game) that even references the Plasma Cutter's ability to rotate the laser alignment. It also has a synergy called "Dead Place" when picked up alongside another item.
Isaac’s actually already been modded into RE2! I found two mods on Nexus a while ago, one was just a port of the Level 3 suit from Dead Space 1 without all the cool glowy shit, and the other was a full mod pack that replaced Leon and Claire with Isaac’s Dead Space 2 suit, even letting you choose different colours for the suit, and no helmet for both of them, so you could have Isaac’s face on Leon and have the head for Claire’s military outfit. It also replaced Mr X with the Hunter from Dead Space 1, and even replaces the weapons and icons for the weapons in the inventory screen. Just thought it was really cool and it’d be good to point it out in case you make another video about this :) I’ll see if I can get links to both mods
Morrigan from Darkstalkers might give Isaac a run for his money. She makes a lot of Capcom cameos, and a handful of Non-Capcom ones. Scorpion or Sub-Zero could be good choices too.

In terms of characters that would be good for sequel videos. I’d say characters like Kratos, Master Chief, Samus Aran, or Cole MacGrath might be fun to tackle. Though the latter likely doesn’t share nearly as many as the others in hindsight.
