Possibly the best bang for buck brembo break swap on any car. I got two of these calipers from Canadia for $70. Though shipping was like $45 but still well worth it.
That is exactly why I went this route. Good stopping is typically expensive but not with this kit. You can save a ton by using c7 blank rotors instead of the ones that I used! Thanks for watching!!
Appreciate you making this video. Thanks for putting the links in the description also, could you specify which parts we need to buy multiple of? I get the calipers are separate, but do the rotors and pads come in kits to conver both front wheels, or do i need to order 2 of them. Also with the bolts, is it 3 for the passenger and 3 for the drivers side?
Great videos! Was wondering if these would work for the front and rears on a 94 z28 ? And if any additional work would have to be done? I’m assuming it wouldn’t just bolt right up
I wanted to stick with GM bolts 🔩 plus tons of guys running a washer on ats and ctsv calipers on 4th gens. It didnt seem like a big deal to me. Thanks for watching Robert!!
Great video! I don't understand why guys monkey around with all the trouble of making special washers when you can accomplish the same clearance by just taking a thread or two off the bolts so they won't hit the rotor. Less monkey motion. What are your thoughts on stock hubs supposedly knocking the pads back away from the rotors while driving down the road with these caddy calipers? Have you ever noticed that you really have to pump the pedal to get the pads back to the rotor? I find this hard to believe.
Did you have to use crush washers on the banjo bolt? It didn't have them on the stock calipers and the new banjo bolt did not come with them ... assumed they would if needed. The banjo bolt (14100 Doorman) made it seem if you read the back washers would come with bolts if needed.
hey Travis. when I go to the link for the caliper bolts I get the caliper kit instead. can You shoot edit in a link to the caliper bolts? unless that’s included in the caliper kit?
Hey! If you haven't figured it out yet, the answer is no. Most of the OEM brake upgrade options involve swapping to the 98-02 LS1 spindle. However, the 95 LT1 bearings/hubs work with the 98-02 spindle.
I don't remember saying the word promise. Unlike most automotive channels, I work 70+ hrs a week. When winter comes, I'll get the time to put the list together. Appreciate you watching!
ok so obviously the physical upgrade is great, but I don't want my WS6 to be wearing shoes that say "Cadillac" or "Corvette" on the side. everyone does this C6/CTSV brake swap on their Firebird but how can you delete the advertising and get a clean looking caliper?
You can totally sand and paint these. I have Brembo stickers some where in the garage to do just that. It really confuses people with Cadillac brakes currently LOL. Thanks for watching!!!

I need those! Great video ! Cheers man
What are the options for the rear? We did the CTSV 6 front and 4 rear on my daughters G8 GT, but that kit has almost doubled since we did hers.
Good to know. I plan on buying me a 4th gen F Body. And I planned on doing this upgrade. But was thinking of the newer Camaro calipers
This setup was cheaper, im glad I did it! Thanks for watching Jay!

It honestly all depends on where you get the parts from. Some do and some places don't. Appreciate you stopping by!

You would need spindles from a late 4th gen to make it work I believe. Fronts only, just run good rotors/pads for the rears. Thanks for watching!
Travis that’s some much needed stopping power for that BEAST! 🍺😎
appreciate you checking this one out!
Sweet video. Any luck on a parts list with possibly part numbers?
Hey Kevin!! check the video description, thanks for watching!
Travis, could you run shorter bolts to prevent the bolt from hitting the rotor?
I wanted to stick with GM bolts 🔩 plus tons of guys running a washer on ats and ctsv calipers on 4th gens. It didnt seem like a big deal to me. Thanks for watching Robert!!
or just grind the bolt down lol

fire man there’s also the 17/18Z from the Audi q7,Porsche cayenne and Volkswagen touareg from the mid 00’s was looking to get those
Nice!!! Appreciate you stopping by!
Do you have a part number or a size for the caliper bolt washers that need to be grinded down to fit.
I do not recall, I took a bolt with me to Ace Hardware.
Part numbers please. Very very tempting. My zl1 has brembos and I added brembos to my Silverado ZR2 and they both are great. Need this for my 00 SS.
Interesting, looks like the ATS 4 piston are the same as the Camaro Brembo 4 piston…. Can’t confirm thou.
Hey Kyle! check the video description, thanks for watching! This car stops amazing now :)
Do you happen to have a list with part numbers?
Bogdas!!! check the video description, thanks for watching!
Do you have part numbers for calipers and rotors?
Jose!! check the video description, thanks for watching!
Travis, love the set up. Is there anyway we can get the parts list!!!
I need to get on this!! Let me know if you still need it
@@Autofazepart list needed! 🎉
@@AutofazeI need it…including the brake lines
Could you have gone with the 14 inch Camaro rotors
If I recall you have to do something to make those work with these calipers. Thanks for watching!
Are those calipers the same as the c7 corvette base calipers?
Good question, it has been to long since I researched this and I am to lazy to google it HAHAHA
Awesome 😎
Parts list ?
Hey James! check the video description, thanks for watching!
So no spacers for the wheels?
no spacers on our setup! Some wheels will need them though! Appreciate you watching!

Always use crush washers, I reused this stock ones if I recall! Thanks for watching!
hey Travis. when I go to the link for the caliper bolts I get the caliper kit instead. can You shoot edit in a link to the caliper bolts? unless that’s included in the caliper kit?
It is not, this has been updated! Make sure it is part number 11611085
@@Autofazethank You sir! ordering today
No other mods needed? ABS working?
Nope! I chucked the ABS a long time ago, it should work fine if you have it!
Now it's time to put some Brembo four-piston calipers on the rear
It's is not needed on 4th gens due to the brake bias. Throw a good pad in the rear and roll!
@@Autofaze I'm already doing it
I need the full parts list my guy!
Your in luck!! Im doing it Sunday 💥🎉🎉
@Autofaze let's go! Appreciate it I'll be checking back!!!!!!
@Autofaze thank you sir! I'll be checking back!
What Brembo blank rotor were you referring to ?
Brembo makes blank rotors (regular rotors, not slotted, ect) aka Brembo blanks!
Very trick could you supply me with the parts list please
Thanks! check the video description, thanks for watching!
Is your washer very thick? Or just standard washer thickness? Thanks. I have these already waiting to go on my fbody.
I literally just went to Ace Hardware and bought the standard washer, do not over think the washer part! Just make sure it spaces it out far enough
Is a wheel spacer needed? Thanks in advance
For our weld wheels no. Most factory 17s should clear. 16 factory wheels probably need a wheel spacer. Appreciate you watching!
Weird question, but would this kind of setup work for the 95 LT1? Id assume its similar but wanted to ask

You would need to switch to ls1 front spindles for it to work, thanks for watching!
@@Autofaze I appreciate the responses. Thank you for the info, I'll work into getting more stuff for the swap then
Where is the parts list on here thay was promised?

Can I get a parts list please?
Hey Anthony! check the video description, thanks for watching!
Every time I change pads or rotors on my daily … one side goes smooth. The other side is a wreck. 😂. Never the same side
I see that always too on 2 or 1 piston brakes! Thanks for watching!
Do you or anyone know on how to put Brembo in the rear?
It is not needed on 4th gens due to the brake bias. Throw a good pad in the rear and roll!
Any word on those part numbers?
peep the description! Thanks for watching Ben!
Gotta pump more to bleed all the air out in one go
I have always done it this way, there is tons of ways to bleed brakes! Just make sure you can stop LOLOLOL. Thanks for watching Legend!!

CTS V1 brembo’s don’t need to drill
But can they fit a 17 inch wheel?
@@Autofaze
Right if forgot the V1 only fit some 18’s.
@@chevymartin3865 the potential to fit a 17x4 front wheel is why we did these!
16 inch wheels won’t fit
A grinder might help?
