At what point? The frame run or the caliper to the frame? For the caliper to the frame I ordered it from kore3 the make the conversion for that. And the frame runs I ran teflon brake lines
Unfortunately No not on the brakes. I have been working on the rear end. But that’s where I stopped. I bought a new toy and had to fix that up. I am back on the gn. So I will be making videos soon
The calipers are discontinued your going to have to go to junk yard or a corvette forum. It took me 1 1/2 to find the other 3 calipers to finish my brakes. Give me a day and I’ll get you the part numbers for the brackets
I have yet to see any one do a video of the improved stopping distance of the big brake upgrade on their cars. From say 70 mph to 0 and the distance it takes to stop compared to the original smaller brakes that came on their car. I think it would be very helpful to know if your stopping 20-100 ft shorter distance with the bigger brakes
I’m sure there is a big difference. It’s better than that single piston. You know that feeling of I’m stepping on the brake and why is it taking so long to slow down. Lol

I have a couple different wheel choices to choose from. C5 staggered Vette wheels or Riddler 606 18 inch staggered wheels for my 86 442. Thank you for your video. And fast reply
Pablo The factory wheel studs are too short for Your wheel or Any wheel? Why do they need to be changed? Does the larger caliper necessitate that you change the studs?
Yes, because of the bigger calipers now I need a higher offset of a wheel and depending on the wheel wether 1 piece or 3 piece might need a spacer. The factory blazer spindles bolts are just way too short
Justin I have the 2002 blazer set up in front and the gn axle. He doesn’t really have part numbers you have to email him with what you have front and rear and he will tell you what you need. His name is Tobin. Really cool guy. I’m running 2013 z06 6 pistons front and rear. Sorry for the delayed response.
Well i think you should put the whole sticker on and remove the corvett logo piston as well so because your gonna power coat it any so just take it off
Oh ok nice setup... I might use the same setup for my SS Montecarlo... Im using my rebuilt 7.5 rearend with moser axles right now with the Detroit truetrac posi, so hopefully these calipers will fit & work with it..
Wilwood. It will cost you but worth it. It’s hard to find these brakes now and if you do they want good money for them. You can do the whole set up just buy willwood calipers for corvette z06 2013
@@michalsuchomski5863 I went with the 6 piston also. I also bought the wilwood single piston electric e brake. But vette uses a 4 position set up which you could also buy from wilwood. So it matches the front if you decide to go with wilwood
So here is the trick part. The part numbers start with 172- The one I have in my hand is part number 172-2553 that will be for the front left in grey the passenger side is 172-2552. For a different color you have to go up or down on the last 2 digits.(172-2557) but at this time good luck finding these calipers as they are discounted since COVID. You’ll find better luck at a junk yard. I’ve been trying to get 2 more caliper with no luck. And the used ones are double the cost.
172-2553 is a starting point. Go up or down on the last 2 digits and it will change the color of the caliper or be left or right. Your going to have a hard time finding any of them on eBay or roc auto it’s a discontinued part so your best luck is a vette forum or junkyard
I like the sticker with the caliber pistons but the line look a little thicker than the ones on thier now. Maybe it looks like that because its white. Maybe make those black and keep the turbo white. Either way i like what you got going. I did the same upgrade on my el camino but no vette brakes.
@@michaelthomas3318 spindles 160, brakes 1,200 the rotors 160, kore 3 brackets to hold the brake 125, u gotta get new brake lines too 150. The brakes sit out about 2” so you will either need spacers or a high offset wheel
I would rather keep the blazer calipers from the U.S 1998 to 03 and not have to spend over a hundred bucks on brake pads but i do want to upgrade to the c4 14 inch rotors but it looks like ill have to fabricate my own brackets

It is 99-2001 blazer 2wheel drive spindle. I don’t remember the part number. Just make sure it is a 2 wheel drive spindle

I don’t think those will fit. You need a high offset wheel like the corvette. You also need a 19” wheel

I need to find a upgrade from the stock setup for the rims I have.
You can use the stock blazer set up instead of putting the kore3 bracket and vette rotor use the blazer.

I based mines in the 2013 z06. I think the z51 came out with the 4 piston calipers in front

You’ll have to buy the c6z06 bracket from kore 3. That’s it. If you haven’t already bought the 5 brake lines from them. Do that also.

Yes it should. You will need spacers the caliper is 2.5” thick from where the wheel sits on the rotor. So it’s basically a high offset like the vette

Rocket MC_Customs it depends on what color you want but 172-2553 is right and 127-2552 is left in metallic grey.
Rocket MC_Customs go to rock auto and type in Chevy corvette 7.0 brake and wheel hub , calipers and it will give you all the colors and brake calipers
