Yes in my opinion the 01 and newer blazer is an easier alternative. While you're there grab the rear fist. Everyone wants Camaro for bragging rights. But for the rear S-10 Blazer is is also easier to incorporate parking brake without fabrication

OK...I heard you say '93...So I assume 1st gen. ..What about putting on 1979ish Impala wagon/ H.D. Police spindles w/12" rotors, with '90's Camaro 1LE rotors (to get 5 on 4 3/4" lug pattern?) ..Yup you have to shorten upper control arms (like I did). or get some global West A arms
Do you have the dimensions on the caliper adapter bracket you made? What spindle is that? I have a 2001 s10 rwd and it needs some brakes bad. I already have a set of 2 wheel drive rotors I turned down into hubs. Thanks
Bracket drawings can be found in the S10 Forum thread I linked in the description. My spindles are Belltech 2" drop spindles, but stock ones would work the same
It doesn't have to be milled down. I just did it to clean it up. Once the rotor is turned down on the lathe, that part is pretty thin. It would probably be just fine to take it down with a grinder if you don't have access to a mill.
Why didn't you just buy the hub bearings calipers and rotors of a s10 extreme or ss. Any with the zq8 suspension package. Also the 2ninch factory lowering spindles u will need those there pretty much identical and all bolt rite on.
There are companies out there that sell hubs and brackets, but whether you do it yourself, or buy the parts, this is simply what goes into it. Either way should net you good results
I guess if you have a machine shop and plenty of spare time if you own a machine shop you probably would have enough money to just buy the parts and if you had a machine shop you probably don't have much spare time so in other words what a useless waste of time video
Since I'm doing a V8 swap on my 95 S10 , it originally came with a 2.2 , so I have to put the heavier springs in it, while I'm doing this , I'm using Trail Blazer spindles and brakes , bolts right in and I now have a true dual caliper brake system in the front.
