Lots of famous video games and media in general have politics. In Wizard101 specifically, Polaris. It doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the game and most people don't notice unless it is spelled out to them or they disagree with the politics.

Thank you for this, from what I could tell a lot of the community share this sentiment, I personally have tried on the reddit to voice my opinion about keeping politics out of the game but of course it would get drowned out. Giving us a voice on this issue really goes a long way to feel heard and hopefully protect the game we all love. Wizard 101 is a kids game and we can argue whether or not it really is a kids game but nonetheless it’s touted as one so it should stay neutral. I do not say that to say we should all jump in and pick sides, I say this to emphasize that politics is all-encompassing because many people do not have the option to remove themselves and get lost in a fantasy world. Speaking out about people who are suffering and dying is not exactly politics, it’s about pointing it out to people who would rather ignore and shut themselves off from the issue. Yes it’s absolutely more comfortable to ignore the situation, but it’s something you had to do. Hitler was able to kill Jews and jevoah witnesses by having people stay silent about it. A person also does not need to be an expert in politics to see 50,000 Palestinians are being bombed and killed, while America sends billions of tax dollars to help Israel. I hope I don’t offend people with comment. But in summary being silent does lead to more deaths.

Do I think it would be nice if KI supported palestine publicly, yes yes I would. What is happening because of Israel is awful. But at the same time trying to publically shame people who dont want to bring politics into their content is horrible and makes you look insurable and annoying and does not make you look like the good side.

i 100% agree with this. There is a time and place to show support if you wish to, but using your game where people go to escape and forget about life for a while and just want to have fun is not one of them. My dad actually quit playing COD for a while when all the BLM stuff was going on. Not because he didnt support it, but because he didnt like the fact his fun outlet to relax and turn off the stress was actively reminding him of things happening in the world. I fear if KI isnt careful the same thing might happen, and we will see a drop in players as well.

Do you truthfully believe that once a war has started, the concept of war crimes just doesn't exist? That one side can levy collective punishment against the other and it's okay because all is fair in love and war? Israel-as a party to a conflict-has legal obligations on their use of force and their treatment of civilian populations.

Because one side targets civilians, the other gets to do so? No, that's a dangerous precedent. There is a REASON the international court of justice is declaring these war crimes.
ESPECIALLY when one side (Israel) has declared itself to be the most moral army in the world. That's not me saying that, that's the Prime Minister themselves.
I certainly hope you aren't arguing that war crimes shouldn't exist because they're not fair to the sides that want to commit them.

To say Ferric has a "platform" that makes is responsible acting a certain way seems to not fit his social significance. For the most part, it just seems that he tryed bullied people in way not too different from how anyone else could bully other people. Bullying is just different coming from someone you know in some way. Furthermore, trying to bully Ferric into acting a certain way because he has a "platform" is unnecessary because I think it more meaningful/effective to try to be very friendly or ignore him rather than counter bully him.
