Man, slowly grinding levels while avoiding that paywall was the goat😭🙌 I did the exact same as a 10 year old I was just obsessed with this game and I got my little brother obsessed with it too. I didn’t get to have the true membership experience until my mid teens (15-16) when one of my grandparents that I was then living with agreed to pay for my account for a while. Then it was like an entirely new world for me, I was finally exploring the areas I had longed to explore and reach and I happily took off with the grind (although on a new account because my original one had my parents lost email attached to it lmao) I continued on that path for a while, even had a partner of mine later in my teens help fund my account cuz I didn’t have a job yet😬 and we both played and continued the grind together all the way past Avalon. After that I was finally able to pay for membership myself and I in fact did and then would turn it off when I got bored and wasn’t playing as much, to save money. I continued to to that over the years of my life and I ended up only really getting on to do gardening or help noobs in the ftp dungeons areas. Now here I am, a fully grown 25 year old, a supervisor at work and still loving this game so damn much… and am about to go turn my membership back on and push through Azteca 😭👊💪🏼✨ This game is amazing, thank you for making a nostalgic video on it my friend ❣️

One friend from wizard101 we actually became close friends outside of it. I remember he and i pretended we were both 18 when we met but later on we admitted he was 9 and i was 12. We are still friends and talk outside of wizard101. Im 27 now and ive started playing the game again with another friend i introduced wiz to.

I got everything in a weekend, moos boots are way worse, and I have a pair on all 5 of my max pirates on main and multiple pairs on alt accounts. problem with this game is every amount of gold is a loot item in the pool. Add a chest for crowns. the boot boss is lame you go in then walk 2 miles up to the boss, why not have it auto respawn

No they should not. Raids should just make it easier and faster to aquire them. You should be able to farm them. What raids could do is give you "unique" looking gear, that only raids players can get, similar to the old PVP gear. That would be fair to everyone.

If you want to port to instances, do them in ascending order by xp given because any xp that exceeds the amount to level you up once at your level will be lost. For instances that you will eventually hit during mainline questing, I personally recommend only running them once and leaving the half xp reward for when you actually quest up to that point. Otherwise you've run each instance 3 times and recieve nothing on that 3rd run.

As a player from Russia I agree with it. This is very disappointing for me to see the game I played as a child now became another propaganda instrument

Pluto, I hope you check in with ferric from time to time. I don’t know him at all but loved his walkthroughs and he sounds really emotionally raw and underslept from his own words. He isn’t taking care of himself in my opinion if he is averaging a few hours of sleep a night. To all wiz heads, take care of yourselves and continue reaching out and helping each other.

Grinding is an option. If you want the best stuff, and value your time, pay for it with crowns. We didn't have the option in EverQuest and Ultima Online days. You want the pixels, you better poopsock it. KI gives you the second chance chest, so go for it. Also membership was $14.99 not $5 a month. There were no deals.

As someone who’s been playing since the start but never had the available time to grind to max I’ve noticed the goal post getting further and further away.

I’ve maxed every class and musk was my fav has been since I was 9 I’m now 20 which is crazy but I Also like buck they just straight lace every problem in front of them now for privy I feel like the whole class just works against it’s self either you go for spells and nullify your melee combat abilities or you go for melee combat and nullify your spells if you go hybrid you’ll just do both poorly compared to other classes witch doctors are cool but you gotta kill everyone before they lay a finger on you and swashbucklers lack versatility they do one thing and that’s it they have like a couple buffs and meh poisons they could use a buff

As someone who would like to play more (maybe even be a hardcore player), I just don’t have the time. From what I’ve observed, a lot of average players want to play more, but some of us are bounded by our jobs. In my case, being a full time manager at my job and a full time college student just makes it impossible for me to farm for any good gear. I’m functioning with Aeon, and some of my characters still have Merciless gear. If it wasn’t for the Fairy Kei Hoard Pack and my unfortunate willingness to spend quite a bit of money on getting the gear, I don’t think I could realistically ever get the newer, farmable sets. I think Kingsisle has slightly improved at listening to their fanbase, but they still have a long way to go.

To be completely honest this video should not be called leveling fast, should be just called tips for comfort leveling, or tips and tricks, cause the thing is that all you need to do in wizard101 same as pirate101 is do the main quest and yes get a membership with that you will be leveling pretty quickly, the rest is just up to you, anything you do in wizard can be repair, for example you said not to use training point on anything but feint, but with membership you can get membership benefits and you can get them all back and reset your points for free or you can just pay gold for it, so no harm done, and arc 1 is so easy and fast you can get up to level 50 in like 2 days or even seen people doing it in 1 day but for noobies may them like 5 days but still that's super fast.

Be interesting if that cabal room with the cabal symbol is really a secret door. That lead into huge closed area inside the arcanum. Cobwebbed rooms and hallways where cabal teachers taught. We find out that before the schism the arcanum had many scholars, actively involved in retrieving items from the rements of the first world, in hopes that restoration would someday be possible.

The best out of all classes is going to be a three way tie of Witch-Musket-Swash. Start with one of these classes, and choose Lost+Krokotopia (nat. Spooky for spell dmg), you should be set, obviously choose the class after you picked Lost+Krok in your character origination story. There may be an exception if you want nat. dodgy for swashbuckler for story, but Krok for spell damage is universal.

Farm everything else and skip the nightmare dungeon. You dont need it if you already have aeon gear.

Bro I remember playing wiz with my sister as a kid and hanging out with maxed out players in the haunted cave cause I didn't have money for a subscription. Now in an adult that can finally afford to buy one, it's sad to see a good chunk of the game so empty. Especially in worlds like dragonspyre which was one of the iconic worlds. I mostly ended up playing solo aside from teaming up with people. And unfortunately now that KI is with Gamigo. A company that has a reputation of mishandling mmos they acquire, I am skeptical new players are gonna come flooding in.
