In this entire Sparck situation, it really is interesting to see who's staying silent and still uploading content pretending that nothing is happening just to stay on the good side of KI. The community has been saying for YEARS that arc 1, at the minimum wizard city, should be free and it's always been ignored/never addressed. Good video, I don’t like the no classic mode and bazaar but I’d politely disagree on the concept of the video. The update was great in my opinion. seno had a good story, new spells and pvp is a lot better. As far as the situation in the HQ, there’s not enough info to talk about it. Prolly one of the best updates so far.

"The horrible state" Yea this state has always been like that for years, I remember being hyped for Novus because they made this big promo about it and even had the balls to introduce pre-order bundles, ranging up to 100 bucks. Like this is WoW or FF14. Just to be nothing but on the same level as Lemuria and the content afterwards wasn't getting bigger or better. But hey! At least we are soon getting a shitty story game :D A wise move from KI to waste time and money on a story game for an audience that skips dialogue. Oh and btw, the entire Arc 1 used to be completely free for european servers, at least during the first few years - sole reason I was able to get into wiz in the first place.

I feel like, if they wanted to, they could roll with the idea of Queen not being “made for combat.” Generally, the strength of the bosses in the game have no correlation with their actual strength in the story. I mean, if we go by that logic, those unicorn guards from Valencia part 2 could make quick work of Deacon. But, anyway, perhaps Queen could instead be more of a Machiavellian Schemer than a robotic warlord like Kane was. Royal courts in history were filled with plots and intrigue so, it wouldn’t be too far fetched. It’d also be an actual subversion of expectations cause, most of the rest of the Armada relied on their strength and power while Queen would rely on her cunning and guile. Maybe Queen could disguise herself or something and plot behind the shadows for her return and then reveal herself in the middle of arc 2 or something. If done well, that could be an excellent twist. But no, instead they are going to make a twist just for the sake of a twist and not for any other reason. This has become an unfortunate trend in modern writing 😑

Wizard City and at least the first part of Krok should be free atp but this game relies heavily on memberships so they will never make the first arc free. Even tho it would be nice if the first arc would be free the games companies income would go down so I would be shocked if they ever will

Most "glazers" are devs using sock accounts trying to fake positivity in an ever increasingly disappointing last few years.

Why would "trade" between characters, you can literally trade between characters via the shared bank with materials that is some sudo science whining, unless said trading is between accounts, which that is different at least.

The paywall is an issue in Pirate101 too. You can lick KingIsle’s boots acting like they are great business people - though the numbers don’t show that. But the issue in both games is you need to get players invested into the game/story. In both games you aren’t invested with how soon the paywall is. And that’s coming from someone who has attempted to bring people into the game and that is always their complaint. KI isn’t running focus groups to get when the paywall should be and they definitely aren’t analyzing data for how far typical new players get. Also, the framework and base code to allow classic mode is done so they have no excuse outside of laziness, unless they did what they did with certain wizard city characters which was rebuild the character including new coding which is they don’t have legacy “skins”

It's why Marleybone's story had so much depth to it that even I felt bad as a player after learning our actions from Puerto Mico and helping our catbeard and all that caused such a huge war and how we had to try and fix it but still failed to do so, living off a lie because the Marleybone army didn't know it was us who started it in the first place and all the things after, it was such a nice thing to experience in this game and now we get a wash down place holder mroganthe from temu as.... mannnn

Good summary, this update is an insult to the loyal players who have been playing for over a decade and have invested a lot of time and money into this game. Unfortunately, I don't see it improving in the future. To me, KI has lost its passion for what the game originally stood for.

One of the main reasons I use classic mode is because of the music. I prefer the old music over the new one. The new one is not bad by any means but I just personally prefer the old one, it's the one I grew up with so.

No one talked about how a lot of the old graphic models for wizard city monsters were gone forever, even in classic mode

i just got back into the game and have been using specific treasure cards from da bazaar for when things get 2 hard, idk if the bazaar update changed something but i cannot find empowerment in the bazaar anymore, and havent since da update, i was so stocked on them up until now

Arc 1 Should be permanently free at this point, been saying for years. Why? So everyone can have a good experience with the game. Like Wizard city -Celestia up to level 60 so everyone can get Mount Olympus and waterworks gear and then pay the Membership for Zafaria through rest of the arc.

I think you’re being negative. I’m level 79 and having a blast playing. Avalon bosses are starting to get tough and it’s fun to have a challenge. I don’t like how most of the new cards in the update are useless though. And I wish they would nerf 7 pip aoe’s. I’m myth and I find myself using Orthrus most of the time. I love the different activities you can do
