Learning about og Zafaria collectathon blew my mind. Theyre so squeemish with d&c today, seeing multiple d&c quests for 10!!!!!! is truly outrageous by todays standards
God Kingsisle used to have so much more hear and soul. You could see the love that went into Celestia. Arc 2 has its flaws, but they actually bothered to try and innovate PvE combat instead of just focusing on what spells they can add for Pvp players.
@@Wizheadpluto I just think they have gotten really complacent. If the content is just another 10 levels of blade + aoe, it's not really content. IMO they need to look inward and re-evaluate the future of the game. They probably can't afford to stop pumping out worlds though.
this vid is rly fascinating. so many updates have been here for 10 years or so now. i only started with member in 2019 so my view on most changes was pretty skewed. being a ftp back in 2009 doesnt let you do much game wise. rly good vid i gotta say. im excited to see part 2 after the fall update (i hope the content there is fun).

I started playing Wizard 101 when the Selena Gomez update came out. At this point I was watching Wizards of Waverly Place so I was absolutely blown away seeing her in this new computer game that I found. Such an incredible era for Wiz

Wizard101 was my very first mmorpg i was about 13 at the time and it was around sometime after the Celestia update, I stopped playing many years ago but I still look up the game to see how it holds up and i am so happy that its still going strong I am planning to return sometime soon too, btw i got major trauma flashbacks from Zafaria questing LOL that was insane the way the mobs would have like a 5% chance of droping the quest items!! XD

Also, in your part 2 when you will make there was a glitch/ error in the system where it gave some accounts like 80k crowns. Can’t remember when it happened but I did happened to get them but alt account no

All info I can give you is that…mirage was the final world at that time I believe and not everyone got it, as I was asking people throughout the day, 90% didn’t get anything, which Is odd. Good video but you really need to broadcast better that this is only a part 1 IMO, I got to the end of this having completely missed the 2 extremely brief flashes of it saying "part 1" early on and was very confused at why it ended since the title and description make no mention of it being only part 1, it all just says "EVERY" implying all in one video. Looking forward to part 2
My bad :( I wanted to release both parts together really bad, but it just became impossible because it was just too much, the video would have been probably over 2 hours and I just needed to get something out because this project was taking me too long as is. After Part 2 is released i will be uploading them both together as well. Im glad you enjoyed it!
Seeing this as a european player back then is so strange. What do you mean Dragonspyre wasnt out as the first 5 worlds? There was no friendcode, pvp, Diego game or even voiceover?? This is insane so hear because the game came out in 2011 here and all of that was there already. 🤯
The quest helper update is the earliest I remember update. When I came back to the game and saw an arrow pointing where I had to go, I thought I was cheating. Before the arrow, I knew every characters and enemy names and where they were and location names. Now I don’t know shit
I have to add another comment as I keep listening. Watching this is literally such a trip because it's like a time-line of my childhood and it's cool being able to recall when things were added and where I was at the time.
This was very informative but I’d suggest a better mic cause your voice was loud but very distorted as if you were talking on walkie talkie so it was hard to understand you at times. And maybe turn down the music at times
Come to my shock I end up learning I own Lost Media, Selena Gomez's Statue and Portrait :D I stopped around Wysteria Update as my friends slowly and surely lost interest. I just came back to see what's new and oh gosh I feel old x.x

The whole game is the worst it has ever been. I had quit in 2020 because I couldn't take it anymore. The wiz game I always knew, played, and fantasized about was gone.

The battles just took forever LMAO, i didnt experience the Collect 10s but when it was Defeat 6, oh boy those were rough 🤣

I still remember zeke in olde town and crowns weren't implemented yet. As well as the retired item card gear in the shops before crowns were a thing
