I met William Shatner from Star Trek and got his autograph on uncut TOPPS sheets from 1977!

- About 45 years ago these Star Trek sheets from TOPPS were put away for safe keeping. Then here comes Comic Con 2022. William Shatner is touring with Legion M to discuss his life and the making of his documentary spanning over 90 years .The public can party with Mr. Shatner for a fee or get an autograph. Or both. Jeff Annison is the co-founder and President of Legion M. They are the promoter of this event. Mr Annison made this meet and signing easy and pleasant. William Shatner 91, started working at 7am this morning, and @ 8pm at night he was meeting with me and signing autographs for over an hour. He went to an after party. This man can do it all! And he has finally been to outer space, for real! Mr Shatner, at 91 is still vibrant, intense and full of energy. We had a really good visit at The Theatre Box in San Diego. Please have a look. Had the pleasure of meeting him (me and my son) at a GalaxyCon in Richmond VA just before COVID in either 2019 (or 2020?).

I know that feeling of ELATION! Years ago, I had a large Forbidden Planet poster and was able to get it signed by Anne Francis and Leslie Nielsen. I held onto that poster for years before being able to get it signed. Anne Francis was about 65 years old and looked like she was 40. She was absolutely Gorgeous! The uncut sheets you have are fantastic!!! Congratulations!

I got seriously into autograph collecting during the pandemic and primarily collect US President signatures, but also have a few celebrity ones. Your video appeared in my feed today and I enjoyed watching this. Congratulations again on the signatures! 🎉
Thank you! I agree that it was pretty cool and i enjoyed getting the signiture as well. I know he did not speak much on the video...but he is a wordly and awesome man. We were lucky to get them! Thanks for the nice comments. Incidentaly i have some pics of my uncle with several presidents over the years and and even cooler pic of him hanging with Bobby Kennedy Junior. Thats cool that you do that. Ill look at your videos!

My dream once was to meet him in person... Unfortunately this is one more dream I won't fulfill... I congratulate you for getting it...!! You can still meet him btw. Just pay to see him. I can call his producer and see if his dates line up with yours. He's in it for the money thou...as the great Shatner has said many times himself. Pay me and I'll sign your stuff! Lol
I've had items signed by Mr. Shatner as well. It's true that he is not very personable. Could be his age, or it's simply his demeanor to the fans.
Was a little disappointed, but nonetheless, but he was someone that I genuinely wanted to meet in person.
Leonard Nimoy would have been another.
I've met James Doohan and Nichelle Nichols, whom were very outgoing, charming and personable and interacted well with the fans.
