He is a jerk. One of my neighbors asked him for an autograph at one of the horse shows that he was riding in here in Kentucky back in 1987. He told my neighbor, "I don't sign autographs at horse shows." I would have been done with anything related to William Shatner at that point. I wouldn't wipe my ass with his autograph. I damn sure don't think his autograph is worth $100!
Always thought a lot of him but after seeing this video no....Hes going to be at the Raleigh Supercon next month and I was looking at videos for him when I saw this....He could have shook the guys hand. Not worried about meeting him now
Everyone is instructed not to shake hands, Capt Kirk is in his 80's and other celebrities like Stan Lee was in his 90's Shaking hands would prolong the wait time for everyone for hours. From time to time they will shake hands just not regularly
Crystal Pearon He helmed one of the most successful science fiction franchises of all time, a franchise which broke new ground in many ways including the first ever televised inter racial kiss
Geez, he's just herding 'em through like cattle. No handshakes, photo ops, Q& A's..just "Hello", sign and "Goodbye"! Kind of understandable, though, given who he is. The lines have to be kept moving, and he doesn't have all day to favor any one person, I guess. As for the fans wearing pointy ears & Starfleet uniforms...HE'S NOT IMPRESSED, FOLKS!
I noticed that the people he didn't really say anything to, didn't even really bother to talk to HIM in the first place. It looked like they just wanted the autograph, and immediately walked away. But you'll notice that anyone who actually DID bother to say or ask him something, he respectfully entertained their curiosity.
yeah, try getting him on the street and see how nice and smiley he is.

Stand in line for over 2 hours and spent over $100 for a signature and won't even shake your hand...

first guy got a TOS Starfleet Tech Manual signed..nice
No wonder he's smiling the prices these people charge. I have never paid for an autograph.
Not sure why the one woman stayed so long. Others are waiting to see him.
he should do it for free on the streets like every other celebrity
Legend
Legend in his own mind maybe. What has he really done outside of the Star Trek stuff?
Why the hell do people want his autograph? Lol
