you hit it right on. my blood clot went into both of my lungs and getting blood thinners and was running out of oxygen and my heart felt like I ran 2 miles in a short time. spent 4.5 days in the hospital now at home 13 days so following up on doctor visits.

are blood clots in legs preventable, how other than though blood thinners ?

My friend her friend was staying with her for a while one night he was struggling to get back on to the sofa in the living room she wanted to call for ambulance he refused she got up 9am in the morning found him not to be breathing she new he was dead she attempted cpr on him for an hour after calling paramedics to her home when they took him away for autopsy pathologist said he had blood clot in his Legs went straight to his Lungs and brain that's what killed him

My niece was sent home from a and e with a blood cot in the leg and died in the night after she couldn;t breath 3 days ago.
