I would have served the rice between serving the meat and the mushroom. Unless the rice is Jasmine and has mango in it...I'd pass if the rice was served to me at the end.
So.. someone who doesn't know much about Japanese culture here.. Are people that do this considered more like chefs, or are they escorts that you pay to spend an evening with that happen to be versed on a wide range of things? I feel like this meal is just like an opening act of an entire evening.

William the foam is supposed to come out, when pouring its better to foam and let the beer “break”, so it doesn’t bloat you and you can enjoy it better. It’s counterintuitive, but it’s better that way, I’ve been doing it wrong my whole life too.
