'Ich vermisse meinen Geliebten' nicht mehr weil er vom Schäfern verspätet zurück kommt, sondern weil er massakriert wurde (und nie wieder kam).
Dle Yaman war einer von Tausenden alten Armenischen Volkslieder welche von Komitas Vardapet (1869 bis 1935), einem Komponisten, Musikologe (?) und Gründer der modernen Armenisch-klassischen Musik, gesammelt und bewahrt wurden. Komitas' Leben wurde durch das Intervenieren von einflussreichen Intellektuellen Freunden während dem Völkermord an den Armeniern im Jahre 1915 gerettet. Doch er überlebte nur um all jene die er liebte im Völkermord sterben zu sehen. Komitas konnte sich von dem emotionalen Schock nie erholen. Er starb in einer psychiatrischen Klinik.

Dele Yaman wird seit dem Völkermord als traurigem Liebeslied mit dem Völkermord verbunden in Liebe und Sehnsucht jener, die von den Deportationen des Völkermordes nicht zurückkamen.

Two million humans were killed, tortured, starved to death. Women and children were raped and abused. Turkey continued committing genocide against Kurds and other minorities since then without stop.

I would forgive the Germans over the Turks any day...I will only forgive the Turks who admit to the genocide, not the ones that don't. Sure I can understand if the Turks are terrified of their own government and are afraid to speak the truth, but even so it makes them look unforgivable.

What? Every kurdish political party where among the first in the world who recognized the genocide. Every Kurd you will ever meet will admit to the genocide and be extremely sorry about. I have traveled to western Armenia and met many kurds who speak about the genocide. There are countless of documentaries where old Kurds are interviewed and speak about the genocide. Which cave have you been living in for the last years?
