Very well, now you can go on a circuit, the only place where you can really exploit the full potential of a Renault Sport car without the dangers of public roads and therefore take the maximum pleasure.
My beloved Clio Mk3 200 was rear ended on the highway recently, and I still haven't had a firm reply from the insurance company - but its most likely going to get written off.. so I've been looking at possible successors. The IV RS Trophy looks good, but I'm not sure about the gearbox - how is it in heavy traffic? Is it jerky at low speeds? Does it overheat easily? Thanks in advance!
Got a 220 Trophy myself for about 4 years now. The Gearbox aint a Problem at all, its fast and not jerky at all (would definitly go for the Trophy, the normal RS Gearbox seems a bit slow) / Well depends on what you like to drive on a daily base. Automatic is my prefered choice for heavy stop n go traffic. /Havent had Overheating issues at all. If you are Worried about the overheating stuff, let a Workshop change your Transmission oil, did it on mine too at about 60k kilometers (just in case to prevent any problems in the future) Was something about 130 bucks.
Never drove the 3RS, but have a 4RS Trophy and absolutely love it. If you're not to bothered by the noise, just buy an ITG intake kit for it and it gets near perfection.
As good as the 220 Trophy is it doesn't have the involvement of a manual imo. I went back to a MK3 Meg Rs, you'd probably prefer that coming from a Mk 3 Clio Rs.
I got a cilo 197. Needs some work but drives ok. Got some synchromeshing in 3rd and 4th gear. But been looking at getting something new. Not to sure about the looks of this car. But it sounds good.
Get only the 280 cup chassis, it's manual for the non-facelifted one or go for the 300 Trophy. That's because the regular Megane RS 280 w/o the cup doesn't have the front mechanical LSD, it's just an electronic diff like on this Clio. The system struggels to put down power even on this 200/220hp, so imagine how bad it would be with 280hp on the Meg.
The exhaust setup is a middle resonator delete and a GT Performance back box. The different RS drive modes are included in the latest version of RS Monitor also known as “RS Drive 2.0” - got a video showing how to install it!
Can I please get the exact sets of the car ik it's the clio Iv rs200 but which year is it 2014 or 2016 and the body kit can I get it from Renault plz help
The phase 1 is 200 edc is already good car but need a tune to make it perfect, the phase 2 is a 220 edc same engine but different turbo, different intake, gearbox software is better standard, but ph1 is also good!
@@rubenvalente no matey didn’t drone at all I thought it was bang on if anything I wanted it a little louder, don’t get me wrong obviously you could hear it but it wasn’t an annoying droning sound which a lot of exhaust create

Thanks for the great video bro. I've got the same car in South Africa and I wanted to know if you achieved that sound by doing a decat only or was the resonator delete beneficial too?
Nice, l like how you blurred the small middle speed screen out in you video, yeah classic man. I was watching, took me awhile through begining to realise and now totally get why you blurred. Not like any of us old to new drivers on gas peddle, often harder to remain on limit unless we using cruise control or speed limiter when torque is set on biting point but if you can get away with it without pressing and depressing accelerator lot causing throttle and drivetrain wear and tear then you must have a pretty steady foot than rest of us humans. Point is, nobody prefect driver and infact police themselves very rarely pull a driver over for speeding unless shifting over 100mph on any council or carriageway road. Majority of police prefer this method while minority of police tend to like being petty in their jobs upon giving speeding fines for 1mph over.

ive got the same rattle coming from the dash in my clio rs 200, very annoying
its not annoing ! but you can shut down the noise desconectening the tube inside the engine !

These seem to be awesome little cars with a Japanese engine too.
Do drink fuel on a steady daily commute?
My clio 4RS drinking about 10.5l driving in city

Hi. Your exhaust, is it a Catback exhaust or an axle back exhaust? Rob from Galway Ireland
Nice 1. I wanna buy one this year or the megane rs 280. Comment from south africa
Lookout for battery issues if you’re going for the megane, both brilliant cars

Mate you have car now? How much kms? Any issues? I really want know the reliability of rs because i want one!
I chose a polo gti over this only for the interior, that rattling would drive me crazy
what kind of exhaust did you install ? And how u got so many Sport Profiles ? i just have the Sport one ?

is there much difference between the Clio RS and the Trophy? and between the Clio edc 200 hp Phase 1 and edc 200 hp phase2

Hi, how do I put the screen on the screen to set the various modes and the other torque interface and everything else?
Do you have the Rs monitor?
How much of a difference does a res delete make to the sound?
it deffo makes a difference. I've got it done and for the sake of 50 quid id deffo recommend

No decat on the car, the exhaust setup is a middle resonator delete (straight pipe) and a backbox from GT Performance!
@@JordanYalcin thanks for that plug
@Shahed Cassim Will do bro, They've stopped making them so it'll be a hard find.
if you have a trophy in SA you have an akrapovic. I did a decat only and it sounds amazing
