@jftrucker2609Uber is a tech company. People who work for Uber include programmers who write apps, marketers who convince customers to use the apps, indian call center employees, among others. Uber doesn’t provide transportation. Assuming you’re an Uber driver, that means you are a small business owner who has entered into an agreement with Uber to provide you with passengers. Essentially you are running a car service, and Uber is drumming up business for you. It’s a partnership. They offer you contracts to accept or decline. That’s it.
I loved this video. I live in Atlanta, but I’m from this area. I never knew Uber could be profitable in this area. Thanks for the info Donnie and Sergio
I had a zero cancellation and UBER put one in there. Not the first time. They told me they're aware of the problem and "thank you for your patience". They wouldn't correct it. This happened the first summer I drove for them. They had me in two different places at the same time. They didn't fix that cancellation either. It might have happened more than once that summer - all the same week.
Yeah I’d appreciate if I could get some consistent tips. It’s got a few college students in the area I’m like but yeah if they’re shopping they’re working like throw me a couple extra dollars. I did a large Uber eats tonight. I had a car full with three orders and I’m believing they’re gonna be generous and tip because I saved them the Christmas shopping rushand had to unload all the food and place it on their dang porch. I remember people who tip and don’t. I’m less likely to accept a ride from them again if they don’t tip and show some appreciation.
I accept about 97-99% on lyft. In my market its not terrible like some markets where they try to make you drive 40 miles for 17 bucks. I make sometimes almost 2k in 40ish hours on lyft. Uber tho i refuse to accept everything. I started on uber and it was fantastic. It had streaks, big bonuses, you name it. I was working just on uber and making just as much as lyft. Now no🤣 you make pennies and the wait time is hilarious. Yet lyft is filled with money. I have a friend who is a veteran driver. He approached me last week furious about uber. He said hes never waited this long for rides. He only make 80 dollars for 10 rides that day and had enough. I was like dude sign up to lyft. Uber doesn't care anymore. Lets hope lyft survives otherwise I don't think you will see as many full time drivers around to assist
How to drive in another state with lyft? I applied a few years ago in Virginia when I was living down there and got denied. I moved back to PA and the online CSR had to change my application state over to PA? How does the interchange work?
I have 100% across the board on DoorDash have almost 500 orders done and nothing but 5 star reviews and I can also tell you that there is no difference in orders since I first started to now like they say you will with the higher acceptance rate I changed my profile pic to if interested
0:18 I accept all rides. I have 99% acceptance rate a 1% cancellation rate a 4.96star rating. Apparently I’m the top driver in St. Louis Missouri. Uber has actually called me and asked me how I’m doing it. How I’m made it to the top of the pack in my area. I take all rides everyone else doesn’t want. I do go into bad areas and I don’t mind. I’m not going to treat anybody any different than anyone else. Anyway I have a question? Does anyone know an attorney that would sue valvoline for me and with me. I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee there for a oil change and literally 4 hours later, I’m sitting at the airport needing a new motor. My jeep has 138 thousand miles on it and valvoline refuses to fix it because they are saying I’m an extreme driver because I drive for Uber. I’ve had my oil changed every 8-10 thousand miles, exactly what the dealer says I should do. Valvoline still refuses to fix it unless I can get a mechanic to say on paper that they caused it to do what happened to it. There’s no mechanic that would do that because they can’t prove that they caused the breakdown. They can tell me what happened to it but they can’t prove that valvoline caused it. So I really need an attorney who can help me sue them for not fixing my ride.
How can you hate on someone that likes what they are doing and has such a positive attitude. The man is making it work for him. The beauty of Uber and Lyft is that everyone treats it their own way, just like any other business, some make it work and some don’t. But that’s in every single industry. Awesome interview Sergio. Very inspiring and insightful. Keep up the great work 👏👏👏
His just screwed himself. Never give away what your doing. He won’t now. Drivers in that area will now change there vehicles. Sergio have you heard Uber is testing Uber max in Melbourne. It’s like xl but for 7 riders instead of 6 riders. Can you guys do a video about this new ride option.
It’s not true if anything only 1% of people that can do this will do it. Never worry about that part. There’s definitely enough rides for all of us to eat. Everyone’s strategy is different.
Dang I must live in the wrong area. Many of my airport rides and regular rides don't tip. I provide water, snacks, personal music, temp control, heated and cooled seats, quiet and lots of leg room car and am very talkative. lol I was flagged for talking too much to the passenger. I must be over doing it for them.
Here in DFW I provide waters mints and I have an octopus tablet- airport rides in Dallas generally tip. But DFW is the second busiest airport in the U.S. ATL IS number 1. Comfort rides were awesome until they combined it with Uber x and share recently. Now I get maybe one or two a day.
The company will work for you if you let it work but don't work for Uber😂 that makes no sense and you guys need to look up the definition of hater just because somebody don't agree with somebody don't make them a hater.
Hater is a term that Kool Aid drinkers and paid shills use to describe the vast majority of drivers who are fed up with the bad pay that keeps getting cut all the time.
Not all money is good money lol. Getting paid $17 to drive 40 miles is not good money lol. U my friend are the reason Uber/Lyft pays us drivers so little
Donnie seems like a nice gentleman but he has no idea how this business works . I’m Glad he is happy but even $300 a day is not good driving 8k-9k a month . Taxes cost he is barely keeping 45-50% what he is making imo. At least he doesn’t live in San Francisco where you pay 3k for 1 bd apartment
Surge is tricky . But if ur in the surge and it goes away sit there and Uber will still give u surge price. If they don’t call them they will compensate u !!’
Not everyone has money to change to XL. I'm sure gas is way more expensive even $45, your doing that daily 💸. I'm sure maintenance is expensive as well doing all that driving, I've had to replace tires multiple times from flats so I'm sure he's had to with all that driving and tires are expensive on a truck. I don't believe Uber punishes but I do believe there are too many drivers. I'm not hating at all do you , I'm just looking at reality. You guys make these videos and make it sound so great but come on tell the reality of it all. He is literally the reason rates stay low.💯‼️

I’m with Donnie. 2020Expedition. Could run for 400k-500k miles with proper maintenance
He has an amazing work ethic and he seems like he enjoys interacting with others so it doesn’t feel like a job for him ❤
Yeah, say yeah I have zero, cancellation 100 % for 8 years month in & out 54,000 trips
Donnie u r a Giant POSITIVE piece of ENERGY. Awesome
Great inspiration! Thank you! 🙏
On Maui I had a 100% acceptance and 0 Cancel rate and 5 star. But maui is not elsewhere
Because of drivers like disco Uber is dancing on a market valuation of 65 billion dollars, well at least somebody is dancing .
That's a good thing right? We should all be happy the platform we rely on is thriving.
ARMO -Avedian you should be Uber or Lyft CEO jan Axber
1500 my weekly goal out of Houston hard thing is going out 6 to 7 days a week
How to drive in another state with lyft? I applied a few years ago in Virginia when I was living down there and got denied. I moved back to PA and the online CSR had to change my application state over to PA? How does the interchange work?
Lyft/uber treating drivers as slaves . $82 trip driver got $18 honest to God
I have 100% across the board on DoorDash have almost 500 orders done and nothing but 5 star reviews and I can also tell you that there is no difference in orders since I first started to now like they say you will with the higher acceptance rate I changed my profile pic to if interested
Seattle its stupid to not accept rides. I try to hit 90% acceptance most of the time its accidental to not accept. My cancellation is always 1%
Do you also do Uber eats when you drive?
Uber Jenn Uber here
How can you take every ride how
High mileage and very low pay
What’s Donnie RUclips channel
This dude is the exact driver that screws things up for the rest of us. Any driver who doesn't cherry pick is a big fat zero.
A random drugs test, he is so happy making cents and dimes. 🤷♂️
XL on my area would be nice but people around here would even use it.
I’ve never seen a $45 ride. This is definitely not a known.
@sergioSMTMC1 Milwaukee, WI
I got 30 tip 50 mile trip. 1hr 30min ride. $70 ride.
Retire 😂
@SergioSMTMC I worked my way back with filters and ended the night with 180 total time online 6hr 29 min
Nyc is kinda a bubble when I think of it
The company will work for you if you let it work but don't work for Uber😂 that makes no sense and you guys need to look up the definition of hater just because somebody don't agree with somebody don't make them a hater.
Hater is a term that Kool Aid drinkers and paid shills use to describe the vast majority of drivers who are fed up with the bad pay that keeps getting cut all the time.
Right O Y'all great interveiw Donnie
Anything less than $1.50 preposterous.
The karaoke uber lady does not have 40k rides. She is also the one that put a black mark on the uners in biloxi by bad mouthing t-pain on Twitter
Uber work for him ? Hehehehehe smart old man 🤬🤬🤬
@sergioSMTMC1 no
He’s not far from me I’m in Panama City, Florida
Unicorn! Straight unicorn! I salute this guy! I haven’t had that since I started!
OMG he started with a brand new charger lmao
Hey Sergio say hi once in a while !!!
"It's gotta get better before it gets worse"
I'd never use auto accept.
Great job
So he'll take a 20 miles ride for $5? That's just dumb.
No such thing as a bad trip. All money is good money. We come here to drive
Money is good but not all money is worth my time. I have other meaningful things to do. Uber. Uber Eats. Doordash.
Not all money is good money lol. Getting paid $17 to drive 40 miles is not good money lol. U my friend are the reason Uber/Lyft pays us drivers so little
Uber works for me. 😅that’s a good one ☝️.
Donnie seems like a nice gentleman but he has no idea how this business works . I’m
Glad he is happy but even $300 a day is not good driving 8k-9k a month . Taxes cost he is barely keeping 45-50% what he is making imo. At least he doesn’t live in San Francisco where you pay 3k for 1 bd apartment
Uber took my surge away this morning.that's a new low for uber
What do you mean, “took my surge away?” Do you mean there was no surge in your area this morning?
Surge is tricky . But if ur in the surge and it goes away sit there and Uber will still give u surge price. If they don’t call them they will compensate u !!’
Again if ur in a surge or drive to one close Uber will pay u for next pick up the surge price
My husband is 77 driving every day
Hey u guys have a great weekend
😢
For guys like this one uber pay so low
I am down to 6 percent
How busy is uber in Mississippi, maybe guy gets a ping every 30 minutes, but good luck Brah 😊
@sergioSMTMC1 okay I’ll, you ma hero Brah! 💪🏾
Mississippi pay rates for Uber X have long been among the lowest in the US. Donnie Disco himself admitted that Uber X is crap in Mississippi.
Uber very bad😢
Wow 💯 % do u use the perks
Suburban only vehicle that can hold this much tonnage of fat and weight while on the road
@SergioSMTMC You make no sense and I ain't gotta prove nothing that's the truth. We can't make money cause people like him take everything and that's why we keep getting paid crap ‼️
I love Biloxi
Oh this one should be interesting 😂
@SergioSMTMC indeed, cool guy! I can’t agree with everything he says but to each there own!
