      Prop 22 stands, but it’s not the end. Municipalities and the state can adopt ordinances and laws that are worker-friendly like in Boston.
      The drivers just need to lobby.

      I think alot are leaving, as am I for part time, I noticed that demand is up, and it's been surging alot more lately, received a 30 dollar surge on a short ride and the customer cancelled twice bc I got it again lol and it wasn't a busy time or place it was 10:15 am on a Thursday when normally no surge and it went from 18 to 30 I have made almost 100$ surge out of 285 so in Cleveland area drivers must be getting verified for fakes or leaving

      6 months ago, I make around $200 between 4am to 11am from 3 to 4 Reservation trips, there are some Reservation trip of 40 miles to either DFW, or Lovefield for $80, which is less than an hour drive, and at 4,5am the Riders give very good tips of $10 upwards, but now reservation trips are now so useless, and annoying, I am shocked to see $9 reservation ride, some even make reservations 3 days ahead of $5, just 2 mile trip..who does that, anyways I no longer accept reservation trips because they are no longer worth it.

Now, driving those same shifts is at max $700-$800 (on-app). Maybe a couple hundred more if it's a holiday weekend or some major event is in town. There’s a way to take screenshots without using two hands. On an iPhone:
    Toggle on Assistive Touch
    Add “Screenshot” if it doesn’t default
    OR
    Assign “Screenshot” to the double tap section for the Assistive Touch function.
    This will place a disc on your phone. The opacity can be adjusted. The location of the disc can be moved to a less obtrusive location.
    I hope this helps!

    People need to have ”feet on the curb”. How do they not know that? When they hold you up by five minutes, not only are these the people that do not tip but they’re also keeping you from making money by sitting there not making any money while you’re up and awake to be out there… It’s not just not giving you a tip. It’s taking money away from you. How do these people not know that???
    There are truly some people that think that because there is a waiting fee, it means you are being paid to wait and so they don’t think anything of it but obviously the wait time pay is nothing…

  • @GeeWee7

    seriously, it's not rocket science. keep your car clean. ask them how their day was. the horror stories i hear about other driver's cars amazes how it's not common sense to do the minimum needed. take pride in your ride...

    • @itguru3654
      @itguru3654 3 месяца назад +3

      Totally agree with you GeeWee. When a rider gets in my car and says it looks really clean and smells good I could do that trip without saying another word to them and still get 5 stars. All because the car is clean, smells good and I'm a reasonably safe driver. Also riders like it when you use your turn signals for every turn or lane change as it gives them a heads up on if you are going the right way to their destination.

    Uber and Lyft need up the pay or put an end to this 5-minute wait because these people take the whole 5 minutes before they come out if you do 12 jobs a day that's over a hour that you lose what you do not get paid

Or I would sit on my couch and set a DF filter to LAX and wait for that 1 ride from my neighborhood to LAX and flip em. I went from $25 an hr on UBER to $50 to $100 an hr now private. I hit $400 a day at least 3 days a week now. I charge $3 a mile. So no matter what I make $1.50 a mile if I don't get any return trips on UBER. 1k miles= minimum $1.5k.
