@@MarkCucchiara the story I’ve read is that after a long recording session, Robin had left but Barry and Mo were still there along with at least one of the engineers. According to the engineer, Barry played the beginning of a new song idea. Mo added to it. The two of them wrote the song in one pass, in real time, in about four minutes.

I love Celine, I love The Bee Gees, I love this song, it's the first time I noticed that Celine, matched her vocals to The Bee Gees, and did not overpower her voice. This is respect.

A very emotional rendition of this song was when Celine sang this in tribute to the late Bee Gees Robin and Maurice, their late brother Andy, her late husband René and her brother, at a Bee Gees tribute in the presence of Barry Gibb.

One of the many things I’ve loved about The Bee Gees especially Barry is how much they love and respect women in their songs. I don’t think it gets said much, but they write such beautiful songs for women and they write beautiful songs for women to perform and sing.

Absolutely beautiful. When I first started working in Healthcare. My first paycheck, I bought my Sister and Mom tickets to The Bee Gees- One night only Concert in Las Vegas in 1997. So they got to see this performance in person. My sister is a HUGE Bee Gees fan. She cried to be able to see the Gibb Brothers. I’m so grateful that I was financially able to give her opportunity of a life time. You have to check out The Bee Gees-One Night only Concert. It’s amazing, amazing, AMAZING!! I to am a Bee Gees fan. A’he’hee Thank you!!

I've asked so many reactors to do this song. Barry said the song is the immortality of their music that will out grow their lives. In the original video Barry has tears and a tissues and so did Maurice.

Celine and the Bee Gees are two of my all-time favorite performers. It's especially sad when they get to the line "we don't say goodbye," not only because two of the Bee Gees are gone, but because Celine is battling a rare neurological disorder and may not sing again. What a loss for us all!

This entire “One Night Only” concert was great. You can watch videos of each of the songs. I would recommend watching the boys do a tribute to Andy while doing the song “Don’t Throw It All Away”. Very touching performance.

So, here's my story about meeting Celine Dion. I was living in LA in the spring of 1993, staying with my cousin, who was/is a Grammy-winning music engineer. One night, I went to the recording studio where he was working, which I did on occasion to hang out. As you can imagine, it was a fun and interesting place to be. Anyway, my cousin had been working with Celine Dion, and she came in while I was there. As I recall, she wasn't the huge star yet that she was to become, but she seemed familiar to me. Her hair was much shorter than it is now, and I thought she was pretty - and tall. She was getting public attention at that time for her recording of When I Fall in Love, which appeared in the movie, Sleepless in Seattle. The song was a duet with Clive Griffin. Earlier that evening, she appeared on The Tonight Show with Clive to sing that song. She came to the recording studio later that night - maybe to do some more recording, but all I remember is a bunch of us, including her, in the studio watching her Tonight Show appearance when it aired at 11:30. Her performance of the song on the show was great, but she was very critical of herself. She didn't think she was great. I think others in the room thought that Clive was a little flat, which might have affected how she sang, but I just remember thinking that her singing couldn't have been any better. I guess that's what makes the great singers great. They're perfectionists. Anyway, she was very sweet and humble. I must say, however, that the whole situation was a little surreal.

At the TV Special "Te Grammy Salute to the Bee Gees", Celine performed the song Live and she dedicated the song to Andy, Maurice, Robin and her late husband Rene. It was beautiful!
It doesn't get any better than that either. Such a breathtaking performance. I sobbed uncontrollably. 2017 Grammy tribute to the Bee Gees. So poignantly stunning. Did you notice Maurice, Robin and Barry projected behind her when she was still singing on the stage, singing from one of the collaborative tapings of this? 😭💔😭💖when she came off the stage toward Barry sitting in the front row, I truly lost it.

@skinsdan6831 those were great words you wrote. I agree with most of what you said. Although I want to correct one thing. Barry, Robin and Maurice together are the most amazing , genius song writers together. They wrote 95% of their songs as well as for other artists TOGETHER.
