I am a rocker chick from way back but Celine is the GOAT in my mind! Will always be in awe of her voice! I sure hope to see her again! She is in my thoughts and prayers with her current situation!

What is her " current " situation ? I know her husband was battling cancer , oh my ?, some years ago now
@@kingscairn She's suffering from Stiff Person Syndrome and had to cancel all of her scheduled shows. As for her husband, he died a few years ago of cancer.
@@kingscairn She is having some kind of vocal cord issue where she cannot sing. Not sure if it will be permanent or not. Haven't heard anything else. Her husband passed some years ago.

Celine is just the best. 🥰 I grew up listening to her but I think I took for granted just how incredible her voice is. Coming back to her music as an adult I’m just constantly stunned by just how amazing her voice is, she puts tears in my eyes.

Celine is arguably one of the greatest voices of our time! Another suggestion is , “I Drove All Night”. Celine’s voice range is unbelievable!
I would listen to Celine sing the phone book. She can do anything, and has so many fun uptempo pop songs as well as utterly unreal ballads. Immortality with the Bee Gees is a must listen. They wrote it just for her. The rehearsal video is the best.....they get so emotional listening to her sing it.

One of my FAVORITES from Celine and it's so heartbreaking that her recent health issues might mean her early retirement since she suffers from something incurable. She LIVES to sing and make music and perform so to even think about her being unable to do so is depressing. She is always pop music, some softer, some a bit more rock but it's ALWAYS pop. There's no song where she doesn't have soaring vocals so don't go looking for a song without it....doesn't exist, lol.

Her entire Falling Into You album is worth a reaction. Some of her best work.
Simply the Best.. pure emotion and honesty in the delivery of what she sings with conviction.. every single time she delivers.
This made me happy and sad all at the same time. She is literally my favorite singer of all time and the fact that her illness takes away the chance to continue to hear her amazing voice is sad and completely unfair. There is SO MUCH MORE of her to listen to, you must continue down the rabbit hole. Another pop banger is I'm Alive. Other songs: To Love You More, her cover of All By Myself, I Surrender, her duet with the Bee Gees called Immortality, Where Does My Heart Beat Now, her duet with Andrea Bocelli called The Prayer, and so many more.

This song came out in 1999, and it influenced my wife and I to move forward and get married. We took life by the horns and moved on. In the late 90's we thought the world was going to end any second. Now the world is crazier than ever, but it is how we live our lives that matters, not what is going on around us.
I especially love that bridge when she sings lyrics like when life is empty and no tomorrow and only at night starts to fall.

What a song. She went up an octave at the end seamlessly. This pop song shows her versatility too. Video was a fun change from her slow songs. She's a definite all-time talent.

Celine went through a pop phase after her first son was born. Another great poppy one is " I'm Alive" about how being a mother makes her alive. You should also check out when she sung with John Farnham.
I first heard Celine Dion when she was about 18 years old and singing French music. I new then that she would be one of our greatest. Her cross over to English was met with disheartened feelings in the Francophone community in Canada but we all finally came together in our mutual love for her talent. Her voice is blended with a french accent. That's why you can't describe her vocals. We love her in the great white north. Canadian Grandma Lori. C.

You Can't Beat Celine! How do you describe her? JOY! Every song she sings...every time you watch her perform...PURE JOY! You can't help but feel happy watching and listening to her. I love this song because this is a newer song and yes it's a little more pop style but still just as incredible. Definitely keep doing her songs. She has so many hits.

This is the ultimate pump up, overcome, & keep fighting inspirational song that she's done. I can't help but be inspired by the sounds, vocals, rhythm, & instrumentals. I can't be mad or down after listening to this.
Another one to try is Pour Que Tu M’aimes Encore. It's French & I have no idea what it's saying but it's an absolutely beautiful song. It proves that you don't have to understand it to enjoy it. Absolute banger.

I hope and pray that Celine gets better soon wow it would be good to see her life again this is one of my favorite songs and I remember I played this song when I was working at the radio station back in the 2000s when I was going to the Oregon school for the blind in Salem and I would play Celine Dion‘s music a lot and I love that this song is an uplifting song because it reminds me that I believe I will find love again which I didn’t think I could after going through my horrible divorce American home and with my first wife Melanie and this is a great song.

I do remember hearing Celine Dion for the 1st time in 1990. I liked her music very much. But she didn't truly hit home with me until she sang the epic song for the Atlanta 96 Olympics, which really became the anthem for the atl olympics here. The very moment I heard "The Power of the Dream". Specifically I remember how it made me feel prob too bc I was detailed to work security for those olympics so that made me feel closer to the entire event. I still hold that song dear to my heart.
