Howard, one of the best aspects of your videos is the advice on using combinations of products and the results you can expect. For the consumer. It's great that you're staying with PPG because it's a great product. Pity, they're not doing the same. Go well at Summernats
Where PPG have stepped off Mirka should jump on, you are a great ambassador for both! Thanks for this year, you've upped the standard of my Torana project significantly with the education and understanding these videos have provided. Have a great Chrissie and New Years!!!!
Howard, One thing I found when using the Ute liner on my XY if I used it in the ready to go one litre tin for the Shultz gun, I was loosing some product, as the tin gets warm, and makes it react quicker, I ended up using it in a plastic container slowed the reaction down of the mixed product, especially in summer, love your work mate. 👍😎
Thank you Howard and your crew, you have produced exceptional content for the channel. I am grateful that you have shared with us from your many years of experience. I'm looking forward to any future content Howard and crew, all the best to you all and may you have a safe and prosperous holiday season ☺
Everyone always hears about how good, but how pricey PPG is. Howard constantly bridges the knowledge gap for the average car enthusiast in not just how good PPG products are, but what range of PPG products there are and the reasons why certain PPG products are used in each part of the automotive restoration process, how they are used and the quality results that can be achieved. Show me another social media creator that sets such high standards in the automotive industry, that promotes a companies products and especially in a very detailed manner over the long term.
You've done an awesome job as always. Its a shame PPG haven't continued with the sponsorship. I personally think that with your skills and expertise, this is a great way to promote their product, bu business decisions are a reality unfotunately and for me you've done an awesome job at showing how great the products are with this build that is very personal. I know the end product will be absolutely phenomenal, and even though you say 'not show car standard', to me, in my eyes it already is. 27:20
Thanks for giving us a chance to see how you go with the van. Sorry to hear about your main sponsor pulling out of the project. Merry Christmas to you and your family and friends.
In the video it looks like you can see some rust under the centre brace next to the gear shifter hole. When you showed the sika on the passenger floor mate. 5:24
It's starting to look bloody nice. I was thinking before, were you looking at recreating a Retro Sundowner?. I remember seeing these running around (not as many Holden's Sandman admittedly). I was wrapped that Ford got in on the same marketing ploy but with the porthole style bubble windows. Have a great festive season to you, family and your employee's.
Thanks Howard great advice as usual. I am interested to know if you wanted to put a colour over the top of this product would you need to sand it or is there a time limit to coat it wet on wet . Love the channel, look forward to seeing the progress on each build
I really liked the smother underseel if only inside the cabin especially It will certainly be nice when done Merry Christmas Howard and family Hopefully summer nats won’t be too crazy 😂😂what am I saying it’s always nuts
@astilldesign Did you decide to not put the extra supports on the inside of the windowless part “big panel” like ford did ? Have a great Xmas. I’ve picked up heaps of good info from your channel thank you
Great video as usual Howard, sorry that PPG have moved on but I'm sure you will pick up another sponsor as you promote products with knowledge and experience. Have a Merry Christmas and New Year to you all, will be looking forward to your videos on SummerNats. Bill Mc
Merry Chrissy to you H and Darren (the silent assassin lol). Thanks for the tutorials, they have become a real high light and i look forward to each one.
PPG pulled the rug from under the van. Bugger. Would it really cost them that much in materials to let you finish it ? Ah well, Glasurit is great paint too
I jumped straight on the ppg website and told them how stupid they are! Here's a bloke I've admired since I was 10 (I'm 42 now) giving a step by step education on which products to use, how to use them and why... And these clowns are pulling the pin on it. I'd rather paint my next car in house paint than use ppg now.
@@subaruadventuressomething for nothing? Like we all get this man's wealth of experience and knowledge when we watch his free videos. He deserves be paid to promote and explain their products
Steve I have been working with PPG for over 25 years and am grateful for everything we have done together and will continue to do in the future. this is just an advertising deal with the channel
