In the db minus manga, Bardock and his partner were fighting a different species when they got the order to return home. It’s still a possibility that Bardock was involved with the conquering of Granolah’s race.
Hi Curt. You make me become interested in super Manga. Thank you. This granola arch seems very interesting as it will bring more of the saiyan and planet vegeta's planet past (my personal faves). I support the theory that says burdock spared granola's life simply cause he was not interested on eliminating a weakling. I don't think we will see more or bardock but that was rather a cameo. Nice video!
Thanks Saiya. I think it's been an interesting arc so far, new themes being introduced, particularly Goku and Vegeta's paths diverging, but I believe to a similar level of power overall and accomplishments. I agree, i don't think Bardock will return, just in more flashbacks
Your videos are underrated. This is a great annalysis. You get to the point and based your assumptions on sound reasoning. And you don't milk it out unlike many other DB RUclipsrs. I also agree that Bardock should never be brought back. Nor should the other past Saiyans- such as King Vegeta, Gine, Nappa, Raditz, etc. They've all had their purpose in the story. As you've mentioned, it's fine if we were to see past events surrounding the characters - which I always enjoy more lore toward the Saiyans and Freeza - whether they're brief flashbacks or spin-offs. But to bring them back into the present of Dragon Ball would be nonsensical, in my opinion. One thing I do think may happen later in the story is that the old Namekian may die. They've been really trying to point out that the old man is near his end. They've pointed out that he's 500 years old. They show he's fragile by tripping over the rock. And Granolah watches over the old Namekian from a distance while waiting for the information pertaining to Freeza's whereabouts. It's just a hunch. I don't know how it'll effect the story overall other than being a possible way to make the Cerealian Dragon Balls cease to exist.
🌸🌙I am to say that if Bardock was indeed the culprit, that is one colossal breakfast bar on his shoulders. He should have eaten (destroyed) his breakfast the first time around instead of leaving a stale granola bar for his son to handle (let’s be real because we know Vegeta shall take the L for Goku’s shine).🌙🌸
Good points! I like that maybe Monaito may have saved him. I have another theory. What if it was his mother that saved him? I saw someone mention that maybe the person who was running was his mother. Maybe, his mother was carrying him. Maybe, Bardock killed his mother while she was trying to save her son. That's why he still has a grudge other than the Saiyans destroying his planet. #Enders
Granolah should be 47 years old bc he had 3 years left after taking 150 years out of his 200 year lifespan, right? And days, maybe months before planet Vegeta was destroyed, Bardock would conquer the Cerealians. Granolah would have at most been a toddler when this happened. It could have been an older sibling or one of Granolah's parents in that flashback.
I feel like the reason bardock spared them and saved them is because after seeing the mom and granolah maybe bardock had a flashback of his child and his wife
#enders oh man, dunno if you watched "merlin" on the BBC in the mid 00's but that whole "little actions with big impacts way down the road" vibes you were talking about de javu'd all over me lol
Why are we even mentioning anything from dragon ball minus or bardock the father of goku? They've both been retconed by dbs broly movie with the timeline and story changes.
yes that's true but I was speculating where Cereal could have fit into the final few days of Bardock's life and DBS Broly didn't show him conquering any planet like in the DB minus and Bardock Special
@@KaioshinCurt yeah, i may or may not have jumped the gun and commented this before finishing the video, i did watch the whole thing and i understood after my comment that you were just covering all the bases and using all available information both canon and non-canon.
I don't think so, because he didn't see Bardock in his humanoid form or normal state but in his great ape form and the great apes are hardly even distinguishable(other than the golden oozaru ofc) the only thing that let us recognize Bardock at all is his scar which is pretty familiar to pretty much any DB fan, but I doubt Granolah knew that because he only saw the ape version of Bardock roaring at him and then ran after that.
Some Thinks That Goku Would Go To Hell And Meet Bardock And Possibly Revive Him Once Granolah Sees How Goku Looks Like Bardock And Talks About Him The One Problem I Have With This Is Why Would Goku Go To Hell For Anyways Bardock Wouldn't Be Any Helpful In This Arc Because He's Far To Weak
Bardock definitely didn't spare him, he has no control in his ape form, plus if he was in base form, after the last chapter, Gramolah would've recognised him, when looking at Goku.
Only minus Bardock is weak well he isn't weak he is a little over average but the special version of bardock made him the 3rd strongest sayain and since the special was shown in the freeza arc as well so it might still be Canon
I like that they’re going back and already exploring lost saiyan lore it’s keeping the story quite grounded. Solid video
Thanks F-man mate :)

Thank you so much :) sorry for the late reply
Ok, Granola should NOT be grateful. Even if he was spared, his family and everyone else were killed by the same party.
great point! I meant like thankful to God that he is alive, anyone would rather be alive and make something of themselves
@@KaioshinCurt Like his revenge, I guess?
But what did vegeta and goku do?
Be Saiyan.
As long as they keep the Bardock special in the main story then I'm happy
